Younger Sister
my prognosis is to leave this novel alone, the synopsis is a straight up lie and the storytelling is bland and forced. the content to him getting his power up is skipped, his first loss is skipped. the storytelling principle of show dont tell is simply ignored. small spoiler-> rough plot direction the female lead is shoved to the mcs arms almost instantly, without any real content except her having a system which forces her to give herself to him against her own will. this seems like a not so much thought out power fantasy. i do have to say that the synopsis really sounded exciting, so this is a huge disappointment...
Raw name 人在书中,正在妹妹指点下当魔头 (credits to milkshakez for finding the book). Raw book source: wap()faloo()com/1086020()html replace () with . Translated title: Man in book, receiving his sister's guidance to be the devil. MTL summary: When Ouyang Feng woke up, he actually transmigrated into a fantasy novel written by his sister. What was even more troublesome was that his sister also wrote him as a stepping stone for the protagonist. Not only did the childhood sweetheart give birth to a child for the protagonist, but he also fell into a demon and was smashed into pieces by the protagonist. Ouyang Feng spit out a mouthful of old blood, the plot of this day is too poisonous! Fortunately, on his birthday, the notebook that his sister gave him also traveled with him, allowing him to communicate with his sister. then…… "Yes, go to the back mountain to find a big tree that was struck by lightning, then turn left three times, and you can enter a secret realm where there are god-level exercises." "What, pills? Go to the east market and find an old man surnamed Xu. There is a ring on his street stall. There are countless pills in the ring, enough for you to eat like jelly beans." At last. "Also, don't forget to find the Moonlight Treasure Box. This is an artifact that can travel through space. I will also come to that world for a vacation." In this regard, Ouyang Feng had only one thought, "Where is the heroine?" My thoughts: dishonest translator, posting an original as a translated work. Maybe it isn't his work but copied from another copyrighted book.
First off I don't like how the synopsis is not even close to the story. I shouldn't be so confused right off the bat because I'm trying to compare the story especially when put in specific details in the synopsis. Once I got that out the way I tried to actually enjoy the read. I feel it can be a funny read if the story wasn't all over the place changing to different character perspectives at the drop of a hat. The author doesn't do a good job of explaining well really anything either so I feel the story is like a giant puzzle I have to put together sometimes. I do like the idea of the story and I feel if it was explained better it would be more enjoyable because it's something original of which you don't see all that often. I'll keep reading tho hoping it improves.
