A Ruined Plan

The four hours passed by quickly and before I knew it I was waking up Willow.

"It's time to move."

"Mmk." She says groggily as her eyes flutter open.

I remove my arms from around her and we stand up.

Without skipping a beat she grabs my hand.

Gives me a smile and teleports us to Joe.

However, the moment we arrive I can't help but curse.

I hadn't been looking at MAP but as soon as I did just now I saw that we were completely surrounded.

Anyone with hostile thoughts appears red on MAP and all I could see was red.

Yet the camp was quiet.

Some of the soldiers that were awake were moving without care.

Willow had teleported us outside Joe's tent so rushing forwards I pull Willow along and we barge into his tent.

Inside I saw a sleeping bag and a table.

Standing next to the table was Joe looking at a pile of papers.

"We need-" I begin trying and warn him of the oncoming danger.

"Do you know what each of these papers says?" He asks cutting me off.

"I don't give a shit we need-"

"OF COURSE YOU DON'T! THESE ARE THE PROFILES OF EVERY MAN THAT HAS DIED ON THIS MISSION!" He screams loud enough that his voice goes hoarse.

The tent goes silent as I wait for Joe to finish.

I watch as his hands shake uncontrollably as he just stares at the piles of hundreds of papers.

Abruptly, he turns his head towards me. I could see his eyes were watery. He raises his finger and points at me but it's shaking so bad and his eyesight wavers that he is pointing more at the tent than me.

"I got reports that you… you… killed my soldiers is this true?"

"It is," I said without remorse. "In fact, I probably killed three times as many of your men than any of the beasts had."

Silence once again filled the tent the only sounds were of the rigid breathes of Joe.

Gritting his teeth and with a pain-felt expression on his face he asked, "Why?"

"I needed more mana," I simply respond.

"What?"

"Your men are nothing but bugs that I can squash to get stronger. I see them as nothing more than a way to level up. Their existence is pointless other than to be killed by me."

This seems to break something in Joe as he comes to a conclusion.

"Despicable, you're a monster."

"There it is! That's it! All you mortals see is a monster but rather your standing before a god," I say as I break out laughing.

"You know I had a plan. It was a good plan but I should have known it wouldn't work. I mean I tried it over and over on this shitty planet and it failed. But now I know why… it's my fault. I don't know why I ever thought I could fit in with ants like you. Why would I disgrace myself to act like you humans? I've had Hive in the palm of my hand for so long. It's time to end this."

Joe looked at me as if I had lost my sanity.

And maybe I had but I was fed up. I was tired of it all.

This plan is going down the drain and we are going to go with Willow's or at least a version of it.

Opening my mouth I speak a single sentence, one that I wished to utter for a long time, words deep within my soul that are brought to life.

"Let this world know what it means to be forgotten."

*Hare*

Within an instant MAP that was once pure red was now colorless.

Then a moment later my wish came true and the first screams were heard.

It was time for the war to begin.

"What did you do?" Joe asks furiously.

"I told you. This world was already in the palm of my hands."

"I'll fucking kill you!" He shouts as he comes charging at us.

*Whoosh*

'Huh?'

'I'm flying?'

*Boom*

"Ugh!"

Coughing up blood I realize I was somehow hit and sent flying.

Laying there I look around to see my momentum was stopped due to me crashing into a tree.

Everything hurt.

Looking down I see that I'm missing my left arm.

My legs are facing directions they never should have, and my chest has an imprint of a shoe.

'Fuck!'

'What happened?!'

'I didn't even see Joe move.'

'I knew he was a much higher level than me but I didn't realize he was that strong!'

Health: 2%

'Holy shit!'

'I can't die like this. I was just saying how I have this world under my control but now I'm laying here half-dead?!'

*BOOM*

I didn't see anything again but an instant later Joe comes crashing down next to me.

Then a second later Willow appears in front of him.

"Why are you betraying your planet?!" Joe screams at Willow with inextinguishable hatred.

"It was never our planet," She responds.

"Faith makes its own course. There is no escaping it. Even I am bound to it," She says looking over at me.

Even though Joe was roughed up he wasn't even close to being in as bad of a shape as I was.

Thus dragging himself to his feet he raises his fists while he drips blood.

"You still ramble about that nonsense! Well, it's no matter you won't be speaking once I kill you. Then after that, I kill that pathetic brat with a god-complex."

After that sentence, Joe's entire body erupts into flames.

But not any flames… white flames.

Flames that were so bright they were blinding me and so hot that all of Joe's skin burnt off and he was nothing more than a flaming skeleton.

"It's a shame I have to use my ability against you but I can't let you get away with this!" He shouts as he charges at Willow.

This caused another collision to take place although I couldn't see who hit who due to the insane speeds that they were moving the explosion that happened definitely indicated a winner and loser.

*BOOOOOOOM*
