'Holy shit, I was guaranteed to die?'

'That was so stupid of me. I could have killed the beast easily with other skills of mine but because I wanted a challenge I should be dead.'

'And since when could the system auto use one of my abilities?'

'Well, it doesn't matter, I shouldn't question it. All that matters is that I'm still alive and I have a mission to complete.'

Willow must have noticed my confused face but she didn't say anything and just looked at me.

With a sigh to change my focus off the fact that I should be mush I say, "That explains why was back hurts like it was melted off because it really was."

"Yep, it took two days before you woke up as your back was slowly healing. I didn't have any way to help you so I just stayed by your side and waited."

"Thank you, but does that mean we still have six days because I was unconscious?"

"No, I teleported all around us and killed all the beasts nearby. Joe accepted that as payment for the two days. Plus I think he was happy no more of his men died."

"Thank you again. I guess I should talk to Joe before we start up again."

"Okay!" Willow says as she grabs my hand and pulls me up.

Disoriented, in pain, and due to the fact that I hadn't moved in days, I wasn't able to stand up straight and support myself.

With my legs giving out I stumble forwards right into Willow.

"Umph."

I fall right into her embrace as she catches and holds me.

"Sorry-" I begin to say.

"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have pulled you up so suddenly after all you just woke up. It's all my fault," She says cutting my apology short.

My feet are trembling and shaking as I start to get feeling back in them but I am still unable to support myself as I cling to her.

I am taller than Willow so my chin is resting on her head while my arms are wrapped around her waist. I am basically laying on her at this point.

She has her head turned to the right and pressed up against my chest while her arms wrap under my arms as she holds me from the back of my neck.

A moment of silence passes before Willow speaks up.

"I'm glad your okay," She whispers.

"Me too."

Another couple of moments of silence pass as she holds me to keep me upright before I am able to move around.

I break free from the embrace and stand up straight as my legs can now support me.

Still holding on to Willow's hand I nod to her and she teleports us away.

Within an instant, we arrive in front of Joe.

"AHH! OH, YOU FUCKERS I told you not to sneak up on me like that!" He shouts as we nearly give him a heart attack.

Neither Willow nor I respond to his fury.

"Are your men ready to move out?" I ask.

"ARE YOU READY? Your bitch-ass killed hundreds of my men then you got hurt and made us wait a whole two days!" He says angrily as a vein almost pops in his face.

"Watch your tone." I merely say in response.

This doesn't stop the enraged expression on Joe's face but he does stop shouting.

"We will use the same formation as before, anyone who was killed in the front lines will be replaced. We move out now."

With that Willow and I teleport back to the original position we were in before the fight against the centipede.

Taking a look around I saw that none of the soldiers we meet before were near us.

And just like before the men around us were surprised to see us appear out of nowhere.

Magnifying my voice I shouted, "March!"

As we moved hours passed while we killed more beasts and lost more men.

Some die to beasts but more to me.

Crawling out of the dead body of an ant I stand in front of the army.

The carcass of the ant was behind me while I was covered and dripping blood in front of it.

"We will start again in four hours."

After saying that I activated one of the many abilities that I have to clean myself.

With the blood gone, Willow appears next to me and grabs my hand before teleporting us away.

The only time Willow leaves my side is when a beast appears.

She seems to understand that I want to fight the beast with my own strength.

However, since the incident with the centipede, she's always been within eyesight.

Not even a second passes as we arrive atop another tree where we lay down just as we did the first night.

As Willow sleeps in my arms I check my status panel to see how successful the day was.
