Chapter 5: Finding a job

after entering the room, Eren looked at the two and said,

"I should come up with their names since I will be raising them, it's pretty much embarrassing calling them boy and girl" Eren Said,

"that would be great father" says the boy,

"a name? I will be given a name? this... is... GREAT!!!" says the girl,

listening to this Eren then, picked the boy and looked at him closely, Eren smiled when he immediately thought of a name after taking a glance at the boy,

"since your skin color is cotton white, like the the clouds then I shall call you Claude" he said,

"just like my previous life my name is also Claude as expected of father" Claude said happily,

he then grabbed the girl and took a quick glance at her and smiled,

"since your hair is red and eyes are yellow I shall call you Rosalia meaning Red Sun" Eren said with a happy expression,

"so cooollll!!! I was named by this badass of a dad and the name sounds perfect too, thank you dad" Rosalia said happily,

after listening to the kids, he then kissed their forehead goodnight and went to bed,

"goodnight kids" he said

"good night Dad" Claude and rosalia answered,

one sunny morning Eren woke up early earlier than the kids, so that he could shower and groom himself,

after showering he noticed that his equipment, is too eye catching making him look like the odd one out, he then shrunk his armor and weapons, he turned his heavy armor into a light armor (similar to a full medieval knight armor but fantasy style), and shrunk his great sword into a one handed longsword (though it's still two handed except thinner which he held in one hand considering his strength) and round shield into a pointed one so he could punch his opponents, then his helmet stayed the same except smaller (like skintight small) perfect for his face and gives more intimidating aura, his cape and hood also shrunk into a perfect size,

after that he went and checked up on the children, luckily they woke up just in time for him to leave,

he then grabbed the two and went downstairs,

"oh there's our Mr.mysterious" says Cynthia,

everyone turned their heads looking towards Eren, some who were new to him flinched and was about to draw their weapons when Cynthia told them not to worry,

"Good morning Cynthia" Eren said in a deeper voice,

Cynthia ignoring the fact Eren knew her name blushed since she has no one greeting her in the morning without flirting with her,

Eren then looked at the people in the inn, there were lizard people, beastmen, elves, dwarves, orcs, ogres and many other species.

after inspecting the surrounding he nodded and approached Cynthia and said,

"hey there Cynthia would you mind guarding my kids for the time being I'll pay 10 gold in advance," says Eren,

"oh your looking for a job eh, well no problem how about working as a mercenary then, the pay is also pretty good" says Cynthia while secretly giving a flirtatious smile,

"well if you insist where should I sign?" Eren asked,

"just sign here" Cynthia said while giving him a silver plaque,

Eren signed the plaque not knowing it was Cynthia's personal mercenary card,

"with this you finally became an official mercenary welcome to the family" says Cynthia while secretly taking a glance at Eren
