'It's looks like Omari Hutchingson is coming on for Ethan Williams on the Middlesbrough side of things. Good decision from the coach, I think Hutchingson just brings that quality on the attack that Middlesbrough have been lacking. They're creating chances, but they can't convert them. I think he's an excellent solution to that problem'

'With the way that Middlesbrough played in the first half what they lacked was someone very clinical when finishing. If you've watched any of his previous matches then you'll know that Hutchingson is the right man for the job'

'Things just got a lot less boring Tim, Sunderland are also making a change, they're unleashing new signing Alfred Morrington. Signed him from Liverpool and the Attacking midfielder will be looking to make an impression on his first appearance'

While the commentators were talking, Omari wasn't listening. He was looking around for Amber. After a brief scan, he realized that she wasn't among the very small crowd that were watching the match. He was dejected but he didn't blame her, he probably would've done the same if he was in her shoes.

While he was busy getting lost in his thoughts, the referee blew his whistle which signified the beginning of the second half.

Straight out of the gates, Sunderland started pressing heavily for the ball. If not for the calmness and composure of Jack and David behind the ball, then Middlesbrough would've lost possession a couple of times.

Now even though Middlesbrough enjoyed a lengthy spell of possession, they were still pretty dull when it came to attack. This time though, it wasn't due to the poor finishing abilities of the forwards.

Unlike the first half, the Sunderland defenders were very compact in defense leaving little space that Middlesbrough exploit. As a result, the ball stayed with the midfielders and the defenders who were beginning to have a hard time keeping the ball from the feet of the opposition.

The fist chance of the half went Middlesbrough's way. Jack passed the ball to Omari who was at the edge of the box. He was immediately forced into a two on one with Sunderland's left back and left center back.

Quickfeet.

His legs flashed over the ball quite a few times, occasionally moving the ball slightly in a series of unpredictable and complex leg movements. The two defenders that came to mark him were momentarily dumbfounded and Omari wanted to use the opportunity to slip into the space between them.

The two defenders regained their composure early enough to realize what Omari aimed to do. They allowed the ball to pass between them and intended to block out the space as soon as Omari couldn't get to the ball.

While that was a pretty good plan overall, it wouldn't work well unless properly executed. Unfortunately the Sunderland defenders couldn't execute it. Instead of blocking out the space as they had intended, they ended up ramming into Omari at the same time.

Now while Omari considered himself to be of decent physicality when it came to being a forward, he did not see himself as some superman who could survive a sandwich attempt from two defenders, and as such, he went to the ground as soon as the two defenders rammed into him.

'It's a straight penalty, no arguments with the referee about that one. He's pulled out two yellow though, I think that's a bit harsh'

'I think it's well deserved, ramming into a player like that. He could've picked up something from that kind of a physical assault'

'And it looks like it is Omari Hutchingson that will step up to take the penalty'

At first Anthony moved towards the ball. It was Jack who held him back and gestured at Omari, telling Anthony that they had a designated penalty taker.

'And it's Omari Hutchingson versus Jeremy Butler. One of them is the mist prolific winger in the Premier League under eighteens while the other has conceded the most goals for a youth side across the top five leagues in europe'

Omari heaved a small sigh. If he scored then everything changes... wait, she wasn't even there to see him score. His expression faded from the excitement that had been building up to dejection, then to anger. It was his fault that she wasn't there.

The referee blew his whistle. Omari didn't bother with any fancy run up or playing mind games with the keeper. As soon as the referee blew his whistle, he straight up ran towards the ball and blasted it towards the net.

Pinpoint finishing.

Omari's shot sailed through the air at a velocity that was hard for the goalkeeper and the players to understand. By the time they knew what happened, they heard the sound of the ball hitting the net.

Jeremy Butler couldn't even react. He could only look to his side and watch as the ball entered the top corner of the goal post.

'Was there ever any doubt at all. Omari Hutchingson steps up and fires an absolute banger into the top corner of the net'

'No way Jeremy was getting to that. No way any goalkeeper in the world was getting to that. Incredibly powerful, beautifully accurate, the two banes of goalkeepers when it comes to penalties'

'Middlesbrough lead. I'm sure that's what will be most important to them at at the moment. Now they have to rally and get themselves to score more goals'

'Talk about making an impact from the bench. Omari comes off the bench, wins a penalty, takes the penalty and scores the penalty'

'Certainly Tim, really good from the left winger. His introduction into the game has certainly made it more interesting for me to watch'

'Me as well Jim, me as well'
