New Student of the Academy

I was now 14, I was in front of the Academy of Bernice. As I stared at this big school a lot had came across my mind. When I first turned seven I had bought swords for myself and Rein.

Me and Rein trained the whole time, we would sometimes roleplay with each other, me as a hero with holy powers and him as a demon lord with demonic powers.

Whoever was strongest would win and the story would be about a cliche hero who defeated the demon lord. Sometimes it would be a tragic story where the demon lord defeated the hero.

After I was seven, it changed. I had learned a lot from Rein, he was a swordsman genius, but he had surpassed me in every way leaving me in the dust.

After I turned ten Rein had told me he was going to temporarily leave. He would see me at the Academy, apparently, he said he had to prepare for getting into the academy and that it was going to be much harder for a commoner.

He didn't know that I knew what he told my sister Lily. He had talked to my younger sister about leaving to learn about women. My one friend was leaving on a journey to be a player.

For the next few years, I continued to train diligently. Even if Rein wanted to leave me to goof off, I couldn't stop him. Rein had left me in the dust, I felt that if I told him to not play around when he was stronger than me that he may resent me.

As I was saddened that I was being left behind I held my head up high. I told myself that I was actually happy, my friend was strong, and even if I couldn't create an adventurer's party with Rein I would support him as the person sent to help him by the goddess.

I stopped to look at the student's map to find out where I was but someone had bumped into me.

—Hey watch where you're walking!

A girl had said

"I'm Sorry" I accidentally replied in a sad tone by accident from thinking about Rein.

—what? Hey, I'm sorry, cheer up, I didn't mean it I wasn't really that mad at all.

She tried to reassure me, but when I looked up at the girl she had bright red hair and beautiful crimson eyes.

"I'm sorry I was just thinking about my friend"

—Oh, sorry about that, if so, why are you so upset?

"Ah, my friend was strong so I felt that he might have left me behind, I was hoping to meet him here at the academy after he left me a long time ago"

—My name is Clana, Clana Crimson. What's your name?

"Shido, Shido Lutheran"

—wow, that's such a nice name, I'm sad to hear that story of yours if you want, we can be friends.

"Sure, that would be nice, are you a student from here?"

— yep I just joined today just like you, I'm glad to join knowing I was able to make a friend here.

"Yeah, I guess so."

— alright Shido I'm in a hurry so I'll see you around.

She ran waving me off as she left.

She was quite a unique person, I thought she would be the overwhelming blunt type in personality but she seemed pretty nice, it's good to have made an early friend in school I guess.

I felt a weird gaze from the distance, there was a platinum-haired girl looking at me. It wasn't a harmful glare but I could tell she was staring at me. It didn't last long as she seemed to have stopped looking at me and had left.

I just wanted to meet my sisters or Rein as soon as possible. I really was not comfortable.

I eventually made my way to the entrance ceremony. I finally saw my sisters as they were giving a speech to the new students.

As I was standing at the ceremony it wasn't guaranteed Rein would be here since he was one year younger. I believed in him though, with his talent and skill he was sure to pass the exam as a commoner who was also an orphan.

As the ceremony ended the students were then allowed to have lunch. As I got my food I went to the courtyard and ate under a tree. As I was preparing to eat, a red-haired girl sat next to me.

—hey Shido mind if I sit here

"No, go ahead"

As me and Clana were eating our lunch next to each other, I felt the gaze of someone again. It was the platinum-haired girl once again. I had no clue why she was staring at me but she was. This time it felt more like a glare of jealousy.

I tried to ignore it, I'd never met a girl with platinum hair before, maybe she was a fan of Clana.

"Hey Clana do you happen to be someone of high status"

—technically, why?

"Do you know anybody with platinum hair"

—no, are you talking about the one friend of yours? Was it Rein?

"No, it's fine, maybe it's just me"

—okay? It's fine Shido, if you're scared I'm quite strong. I'll protect you.

"Thanks Clana, that's really reassuring to hear"

As we were talking the glare seemed to have stopped. I continued eating as me and Clana sat together focusing on finishing our food.

I was soon distracted by a figure of someone. When Rein left he said he was gonna grow his hair out, so I should look for someone with black long hair.

I ran to the person with long black hair

"Rein is that you"

As I grabbed the persons shoulder, the person had turned around in shock that I grabbed her shoulder. She had black long hair, wolf ears, a wolf tail, and bright blue eyes.

I was so distracted by the long black hair that I had completely missed that this person had a wolf tail and wolf ears.

"Ah, I'm very sorry I was mistaken, please forgive my rudeness"

—excuse me what's your name?

"I apologize my name is Shido, Shido Lutheran"

—Mrs Sera let me teach this boy a lesson

One of the beast kin girls said

—No, it's okay Shiva, I'll deal with this one myself, I've taken quite a liking to this one.

I was dumbfounded, I thought i was gonna get my ass beat by the beast kin woman but the one who looked like she was in command started to sniff me.

"Umm If I'm not wrong your name is Sera?"

—yes, it's just Sera by the way, we beast kin don't have last names like you humans

"Is that so? May I ask why you are sniffing me?"

—ah of course, no worries this is just how my people get to know each other

"Really? This is new to me"

She started getting really close to me, she started sniffing my neck, she stood up on her toes to even try to get a whiff of my hair. She was putting her hands on my shoulders, to sniff the top of my head.

"Are you sure this is normal"

—yes, yes it very much is

I could swear she was on the verge of moaning like she was getting off at my scent. Before i knew it she started to lick my neck, and she started to suck my neck intensely.

I tried to push her off but I couldn't stop her, she was too strong, the situation had been completely reversed as I was the one who was about to moan at the sensation.

— that's enough!

Clana had pulled out her blade and slashed a slice of fire at the wolf girl.

The wolf girl had easily dodged the slash of fire.

—oh my were you taken already

"I beg your pardon?"

—shut the fuck up, Shido don't trust her anymore, there's no way that giving you a hickey is a way of getting to know you better.

—how unfortunate, I personally think giving the person you want to know a hickey is a good way to get to know someone she said as she licked her lower lip

the beast girl Shiva had taken a stance that she was ready to attack.

—it's okay Shiva stand down, i just got a bit carried away was all.

—Mrs Sera she attacked you-

—Shiva listen, i was in the wrong, and you, your name is Shido correct?

"Yes, that's right"

—I hope we can all get along very well in the future. I'll be seeing you later after all.

—what the hell does that mean!

Clana had flames that were coming off her body

—we are students of the same grade of course. As we are both princess's I suggest that we get along well princess Clana

—you shit head i didn't want him to know that yet you fuck.

—oh my, such a foul mouthed princess.

"Clana it's okay"

I tried to reassure Clana as i tried to pull her away from this scene. It was starting to cause to much of a scene.

—Lady Shiva let us take our leave.

—yes my lady.

—I already have enough.

I heard Sera say something along those lines. It had me feeling suspicious but my main focus was pulling Clana away. As we went back to our lunch spot we continued to talk.

—hey Shido, does me being a princess change your perspective of me.

"No, not really"

—At first i was surprised by how you were talking to me in the beginning but i realized that it wasn't a bad feeling, if you don't mind can we keep this friendship like this.

"It's okay Clana, I would've tried to keep treating you like a friend instead of a princess anyways unless you wanted me to treat you like one".

—I'd really appreciate that!

She blushed as we continued to eat.

I attended a tour of the academy with Clana but at the end of the day we had to part ways. We saw each other off and left to our dormitories.

Clana is a really friendly girl. I've only ever talked to my sisters and mother before Clana. Apparently she didn't intervene earlier when I was talking with Sera because she mistook it as Rein when I called out his name.

I wonder where Rein was, maybe he's late, maybe he can't join until next year, maybe he died? No, that's a bad way of thinking, I'll meet Rein one day, he'll eventually make his way here.

As I entered the men's dormitory and opened my door. I noticed the window was open. I didn't have a good feeling, i felt like I had a chill up my spine. It had felt off within this room.

I went straight to the window to close it. Once I had properly locked the windows I felt a presence behind my neck. I turned around with my hand on my sword.

There was nothing, I had been paranoid this whole day. As I took a deep breath and turned to make sure I properly locked the window, there was a black-haired blue eyed wolf girl. She was hanging from the ceiling, our noses had touched.

I jumped backwards and the wolf girl had dropped and charged at me with her right palm reaching towards me.

I tried to pull my sword out and do my signature parry skill.

[Parr-]

She blocked my mouth and stopped my hand from pulling out my sword. This strength was unimaginable, she proceeded to head butt me.

As my head flung backwards she moved behind my back at a tremendous speed and grabbed the back of my head, she started running with my head in her hand towards the window.

As i was preparing to be thrown out the window we had taken a sharp left turn. She had slammed my head against the bed. As I thought she was a fool when she had let go my neck. I had felt a sharp chop to my neck. My vision went black and the last words I heard were.

—I told you, I would see you later. Tonight, your all mine.
