The car arrived at a large mansion after traveling for an hour. They were stuck in a traffic accident after a car emerges with another car and both of the drivers were drunk.

Normally, Qin Sheng would be pissed by this time. But since Yangxin is sitting beside him, he didn't get bored and Mr. Shun is also shocked by the sudden change from the usual cold, young CEO.

The driver is not complaining but, he thought that some of the people at the office were only joking when they said that.

Nonetheless, Mr. Shun is happy for the young CEO. After every relationship failure that the young man had felt and experienced before, maybe this young man would be the answer to their prayers.

Mr. and Mrs. Lin would be so happy to find out about this.

Nervous is an understatement but that is what Yangxin is feeling right now. After the car pulled over on a big mansion, the latter can already tell that this is the Lin family's mansion.

He doesn't know why Qin Sheng brought him here. But he hopes that it is not for something worth dying for.

He had only seen the Lin family on television but that is because they were invited to a public gathering somewhere in Beijing.

But that was it.

Yangxin is beyond nervous at this point. He even flinches when Qin Sheng held his hand in front of Mr. Shun, who is looking at him with a deadpan expression.

He doesn't know whether the older man is happy or not but Yangxin is certain that he is not.

They enter the mansion and welcome by many maids and butlers. Yangxin felt overwhelmed with how powerful Qin Sheng and his family is.

The entrance of the mansion is in perfect proportion; not too big and not too small, not too tall and not too short. The door is decorated with a golden and a long staff handle.

The living room is as big as a mall and the stairways are as long as an escalator. Yangxin needs to double-check if he entered a house or a mall, in how big the whole house is.

The architecture is also perfect and the tree in the middle of the whole house is symbolic.

It is indeed a modern house but the Chinese symbolism is still there. Yangxin thinks that he saw famous old poetry in the middle of the living room right above the TV set.

"Moonlight falls at the foot of my bed,

Seeming like the frost on the frozen ground

I look up and see the bright moon,

And look down, reminded of my hometown."

These were the lines from the famous poem, "Thoughts on a Silent Night" by Poet Li Bai, who is also known as a famous Chinese poet who took the traditional Chinese poem to a whole new level.

Yangxin was never a fan of poetry since he had been hated his literature professor back in high school but this poem is stuck in his mind.

It was a beautiful poem that made him love every poem that Li Bai wrote. He even made a compilation of his poems but this one stood out among the rest.

Qin Sheng drags him to his room while carrying the shopping bags that he bought from the mall via online purchasing.

He is not sure if Yangxin would love his gifts but he purposely asked Mr. Wang to remove all of the price tags and buy a new set of paper bags to some other stores outside.

The reason for that is for Yangxin not to find out the costs of the things that he bought.

The young CEO purposely told Mr. Shun to drive to the longest way back home instead of the usual shortcut that they take for Qin Sheng to feel Yangxin's presence longer.

He knows that his parents would be home tonight and it gives him a perfect reason to talk to them about Yangxin and the future of the company.

Well, mostly about Yangxin.

He commands the latter to take a fresh bath as he prepares for his clothes. Yangxin is suspicious about the CEO's intention but didn't question further.

He just obliged to his request and hopes for the best.

After showering, Yangxin went out of the bathroom and notices that the CEO is not around. He tries calling his name but there is not an answer returned.

He looks down at the bed and sees some clothes and a note.

"Go downstairs after dressing up. –Qin Sheng"

Yangxin is still suspicious about the CEO's intention but follows his request and dresses up before going downstairs.

The latter didn't bother to fix his hair since he is hair is naturally wavy and would fix itself later after drying up.

He went his way down to the living room when he hears people talking. He suspects that it is just the maids and butlers.

But he was shell-shocked when he saw who is the CEO is talking at.

"Yangxin, you're just in time."

Qin Sheng's usual cold aura changes into something that even the people beside him can't quite comprehend.

As if he just turns into the soft-hearted man that his parents want him to be. Upon seeing this, they would want to know who this young man in front of them is and what his true intention to the young CEO is.

Yangxin gulps and made his way to the Lin's. Qin Sheng puts his arm over his shoulder and pulls him closer to him.

"Mother, Father."

Yangxin gulps. He never knew that he would meet Qin Sheng's parents tonight. He could've fixed his hair but apparently, he thought that he won't meet anyone else tonight.

Both of the Lins were looking at Yangxin, who is putting up a good image for them. But his heart is pounding loudly in his chest.

"Meet Yangxin Huang…"

Yangxin starts to sweat profusely as his smile starts to falter while his suspicion turns into something horrifying.

Well, for him and only for him. The suspense is killing him and his legs start to weaken. But when the CEO said the next line, he felt as if his mind went blank and his heart stops beating.
