CH 1

Cats and dogs were showering that night. It's almost 1:30 in the midnight and you are about to go to sleep after five hours of continuous studies.

You live all by yourself as your parents passed away when you were of nine, in a car accident. You with your family were retracing the way back to home, but, the car met with a severe accident. Your parents passed away at the spot, but somehow you managed to get out of the car, with big and ugly cuts all around your little body. You cried and cried and prayed to God for a million times to give your parents back to you, but God seemed to have denied your little request. The three of you were taken to the nearest hospital. The doctor revealed that your beloved Mom and Dad had gone to live with God...

After medication, you were brought back to home and your Aunt took care of you for a whole year. For some weeks in that course of time, you denied to eat, sleep, talk, walk, smile, or do anything like that. You locked yourself up in your room for about 3 weeks straight. Finally you decided to move on. Why? Because you remembered those golden words your parents had said to you long ago — "Sweetheart. In this big world, you have to rely on just one person. And you're that only person. We won't be with you forever. You have to forget things and move on, for a better and brighter future. And... you are our good and brave kid, aren't you? Mama and Papa is really proud of you sweetheart." As soon as you stepped out of your room, you ran to your Aunt and hugged her. You shed your tears and were accompanied by her. 14th January was the date when you started living with her. And 14th January (next year) was also the date when you asked her to move out and promised her that you'd be able to live on your own.

Since then, you've been working, living, eating, sleeping, and doing everything else all by yourself and all alone. You are of 18 now and you attend 'Hana Lee's Academy'. You are a student who studied Literature (you are mastering English).

You always wake up at 5 o'clock in the morning and serve yourself a boiled egg, a glass of milk, two slices of bread and packed something else for yourself to have it during the recess. You finally head for college at 7 o'clock and after walking for about half an hour, you would reach your destination. When the classes got over, you would head for the 'Bay Once Cafeteria' at 3:30pm. You would change your clothes and would get ready to be the 'pretty waitress'. You would complete your job by 7:00pm and would start walking home after eating something very cheap in the cafeteria as you had to save money, and gathering your money from the manager.

You would let your body have some peace for some time after you would fresh up. You'd sit to study at 8:00pm and got up at 1:00am. This was your hectic daily schedule.

But, that day you got up at 1:30am...
