CHAPTER 2: LOVELIFE

For past years until they graduated college. Henley and Sophie still are living at the same apartment. They were both resident doctors in Royal Doctor's Hospital.

Sophie is an OB-Gynecologist while Henley was a surgeon. They were still living the same roof as if nothing has changed their friendship.

Henley known as a womanizer in their school. Well, not just in medical school but also even during their high school days.

Everybody knew it. Who does not? He is good-looking person, a height of six-footer, well build body and yummy.

Sophie keeps separated her personal life private and so was Henley. Every woman with skirts loves him. He has been a lot of hook up women. But still maintains good grades and graduated and became a surgeon.

Sophie dated some of the people in school even got boyfriends too but it did not last for a long time. She was searching for something in a relationship.

Ronald is her current boyfriend for two years now. He is working as a manager of some corporate business in the county. He knows her friendship with Henley so they were civil with each other since they lived together.

Sophie also did not mind with Henley's personal affairs since it was his apartment. She tried to talk to Henley to move out from his apartment when they both got a permanent spot at the hospital.

But he did not agree unless she and Ronald were planning to get married. Well, Ronald did not ask her to move in with him. She was not going to if he asks her actually. She was glad that Henley did not change a bit with the treatment he had for her. She could not even imagine living each day without seeing him. Their friendship means a lot to her too. They were even much closer now than during their high school days.

She was successful in the field she chosen in other word she loves her profession. She might be very busy with her. She still keeps her love life to have time if necessary.

Ronald was supportive with her career. He always visits her in the apartment every night after his work at the office. They still date every week and what could she ask for.

It was smooth life for Sophie reaching her age now. She is still single since both of her friends Henna and Rhianna got married. She was waiting for Ronald to propose to her. She loves him in some way. They did not reach this far if it was not love.

They were in the room cuddling each other. Kissing and touching that is what they always do.

"Hey, I got some good news to you." He said while his hands were busy something else.

"Hmm, what is it?" She curiously asked.

"I got promoted as a General Manager." He smiled grinned.

"Really" Sophie got up from lying in the bed and faced him with excitement. "Congratulations Ronald. I know you will be promoted because you love your job and you are good at it."

"So, how about giving me something? Ronald smiled seductively.

Sophie gives him a kissed on the lips. Ronald's hands started moving around her body. However, he moves down to the level his other hand was slowly taking off her shorts that Sophie startled.

"Stop!" She slapped his hand but Ronald did not listen to her. Instead, he forced it to take it off. Sophie pushed hard that he was throw out the bed.

"What the f.ck!" Ronald got angry. "What is wrong with you Sophie? We've been in this relationship for two years."

"I… I am sorry!" She apologized looking at him. "I am not ready yet."

"This is bullsh*t.!" When will you be ready?" He asked with his brows cross. "You know that I have needs as a man."

"I know, I know… it is just…" Sophie did not finish.

He got up without looking at her. "This is crazy. I will be going." Ronald slammed the door as he walked out.

Henley just arrived from work when he saw Ronald slammed the door from Sophie's room. He did not even greet him as he was standing at the doorway. His face looks were really pissed. He frowns.

Henley knocked Sophie's door before opened it. "Hey bro, are you okay?" He asked as he enters.

"Yeah, yeah I am fine bro." She smiled knowing that she was constrained.

"What's wrong?" He said as strokes her hair that was lying in her bed.

Sophie sighed and closed her eyes. "It just nothing doesn't you have to worry bro." Then opened her eyes, stared at him.

"Okay, just take a rest. Whatever issues the two of you had. It will be okay tomorrow." He smiled.

"Yeah, I hope so." She sighed. "You too, just take some rest. You look tired from operation."

Henley sighed. "It was exhausting thou but it was a successful one." Then he strokes back her hair away from her face.
