What Comes Next

Toby Robinson lays on his bed, his head resting on his arms as he stared up at his ceiling. The young Dreamer had a lot on his mind, but he thought about them with a smile on his face.

Toby Robinson: Darasimi is incredible. I wish I had the power to see the future, I would have so much fun with it. (Toby thought)... Darasimi is a Dreamwalker, but I still don't know anything about them... System, tell me about the Dreamwalkers. (Toby asked his System)

[Dreamwalkers: Beings capable of traversing the Dream World, and entering the Domain of others. Their powers often vary, and they are quite rare]

Toby Robinson: A rare breed huh, nice... Darasimi seems to be aware of her powers, but I don't know to what extent. She still acts like she doesn't know me, but I definitely saw her in the Dream World, and she said my name. She did look different though. (Toby contemplated)... System, show me my stats. (Toby said)

Toby Robinson: I need to get stronger. Ever since my fight with the Mad Man, I haven't left the Grassland even once. I think it's time for me to go on another adventure, and I know exactly where to go first. (Toby thought with a smile)

It was already night time, and everyone in the Robinson home was already asleep, except for Toby of course, who had better things to do than sleep.

Toby closes his eyes and relaxes his mind, and in a matter of moments, he receives a message from the Dream System.

[Would You Like To Enter The Dream World]

[Y/N]

Toby Robinson: You know what to do, System! Take me to the Dream World! (Toby said excitedly)

[Would You Like To Enter The Dream World]

[Y/N]

Toby Robinson: (Groans) Yes alright! Gosh! (Toby said in annoyance)

[Entering Dream State]

Toby loses consciousness, and his mind enters another plane of existence, The Dream World.

Toby opens his eyes and finds himself in the Grassland. Browny is off in the distance, peacefully sleeping on the soft green grass of the Domain.

Toby Robinson: Hey buddy! How you doing?! (Toby asked as he ran towards his Dream Being)

Browny: "Huff!" (Browny sounded in displeasure, hating having to get up from his sleep)

Toby Robinson: It's finally time, Browny! (Toby happily tells the bear)

Browny: "Growl" (Browny replied with a confused look on his frighteningly adorable face)

Toby Robinson: It's time for what you ask? Well it's time for us to go on an adventure, and our first objective. Is to Tame Prince Charming! (Toby said excitedly)

Browny: "Huff!" (Browny sounded begrudgingly)

Toby Robinson: Come on, it's gonna be fun. And you don't even have to carry me there, I have another means of transport... Dream Door! (Toby said as he stretched out his hand)

[Dream Door Activated]

After levelling up, Toby got two new skills from the System. The Dream Door was one of them, and although Toby hasn't used it yet, he has already figured out how it works.

A brown door materializes itself in front of Toby, with the words Grassland boldly showing at the head of the door. Toby grabs the circular door knob, and then twists it slightly.

The words at the head of the door shifts to something else, now showing the words, Wandering Woods.

Toby Robinson: That's where you and I first met. (Toby tells Browny with a smile, before twisting the door knob again)

The words at the head of the door change once again, this time showing the words, Butter World.

Toby Robinson: I really don't like that place. Too many ants. (Toby said with a shiver, before twisting the knob again)

The name on the door changes again, this time showing the words, Royal Castle. Toby smiles upon seeing this, knowing that this was the place he was looking to go.

Toby Robinson: Come on, Browny! Let's go! (Toby says as he swings open the door, revealing the swirling blue portal within)

Browny: "Low Growl" (Browny sounded with uncertainty)

Toby Robinson: Don't worry, buddy. It's gonna be fine... I've got this! (Toby said as he confidently steps into the swirling portal of the Dream Door, soon followed by the one eyed bear)

Meanwhile at the Daniels home, Darasimi Daniels is lying on her bed, unable to sleep because of all the thoughts on her mind.

Darasimi Daniels: Do I tell them? No, they'll just think I'm crazy! But I have to tell them. If my powers are to be believed, then I can see the future. And the future now, isn't very bright. (Darasimi thought)... Toby, are you really the hero I saw you as, or am I just mistaken? (Dara wondered, before her eyes began to flutter)

Darasimi was starting to get sleepy, and there was nothing she could do to stop it. She finally closes her eyes, soon finding herself in the black space, but this time, there is only a single door in front of her.

The door was black in colour, and had a red hue around it's edges. Darasimi slowly walks towards the ominous door, her outstretched hand trembling as she hears screams coming from within, but this does not stop her from grabbing the door knob, and opening the black door.

A red light suddenly escapes from the door, enveloping the entire black space with it's brightness. Dara opens her eyes again, this time finding herself in a residential area, but something was very wrong.

There was a large hole in the sky, with several monsters either falling or flying out of it. The monsters on the ground were all wreaking havoc in the streets, attacking anything and anyone in their path.

Standing beside Dara is Todd Forager. The teenager had an injury on his arm, but it seems to have already stopped bleeding.

Todd Forager: What do we do?! (Todd asks with a worried look in his eyes)

That's when Darasimi turns her attention to the person standing in front of them, the person Todd was talking to. Standing in front of them both is Toby Robinson, but he now looks very different. He was taller, looked stronger, braver, and better than ever before. He was clad in shiny blue armour, with a burning red sword in one hand, and a glowing blue shield at the other.

This Toby Robinson finally turns back to face his two friends, and he had a reassuring smile on his lips.

Toby Robinson: Don't worry, guys. Everything's gonna be fine... I've got this! (Toby said before he turns away, facing the horde of monstrous creatures, his smile, never fading from his lips)
