Fifty Bundles
On the way to his house, Dan recited the new plan he had made in his mind. His previous one had been impulsive and risky. And he hadn't included his greatest weapon, Lang in that plan.
And now that he thought about it, Lang was quite an incredible thing to have in this world which wasn't that technologically developed. And technology wasn't even the main focus for the people of this world.
The military and even private organizations were more focused on reclaiming and exploring the wilds, establishing new cities and harvesting the magical resources that were in the wild.
No one had time to invest in technological development which required time and resources while a whole new magical world was out there waiting to be explored.
And Dan was the same. In fact, his feelings of not wanting to meddle in the technological stuff and rather exploring the magical world were even stronger. That was also the reason why he had been so immersed in VR games back in his world.
He just wanted to find new magical creatures, have superpowers and live in a tree. That was all Dan wanted. And he hoped that this time, he would be able to do all of it in real life.
Dan arrived at his house and quickly changed his clothes. He put on some casual clothes and left the house in a hurry. His parents were still at the restaurant like always so he didn't have to explain where he was going.
And around ten minutes later, Dan stood in front of the mall with a wide smile on his face.
Dan entered the mall and quickly reached the herbal shop.
The first thing he saw after entering the shop was empty shelves and a lack of customers. And the second thing or rather person was the beautiful receptionist whose name was Clare. She was typing something on the keyboard in front of her with determination on her face. Her dark hair was in a messy bun and her pink lips formed a pout, evidence of her focus on the task she was doing at the moment.
Clare was exactly what Dan liked in a woman but the problem was that he was in a kid's body which meant that there was a zero per cent chance he would be able to get her.
"Fuck you, Ian. "Dan again cursed and then approached Clare who still hadn't noticed him.
"Hello, Miss Clare. How is it going? "He greeted her with a vibrant face.
"Oh, you're here. Wait a bit, OK. " Clare said as she lifted her head to take a look at Dan. Dan was a bit bummed out by the fact that she didn't even return his greeting but he chalked it up to her being busy.
Then a bit of click and clack of the keyboard later, Clare stood up and pulled out a crate of herbs from under the counter. She handed him the crate and said, "Here. There are around fifty bundles here. How long will it take you to go through them? "
Dan thought for a couple of seconds and replied, "A week, at most. "
Clare nodded and said, "Ok then. Come back a week later with all the herbs. And keep the herbs in this box. This helps in preserving the herbs for some time. " She handed Dan a box after finishing her part and sat back down on the chair.
"Alright. Thank you and see you in a week. " Dan said as he walked out of the shop with the crate and box in his hands.
(I have decided on what kind of story this will be. It will be a kingdom or kind of like a kingdom building. But it will start from ground zero and before kingdom building there will be some survival and adventure which will be exciting.
Kingdom building will start from around 50 -60 chapters while survival and adventures will start from chapter 25.
