"You may think that I am lying but it is truth. Magic evolved to kill. Nobles of early times used it oppress commoners, to instil fear into them. And the reason I said that the body strengthening magic as more practical is because to kill a human you only need to snap or stab at vital point. There is no need to use flashy magic to kill someone which was used by the nobles in early times."

"That's right."

When everyone was in daze because of the sudden revelation of the history of magic, the homeroom teacher – Alfred Marcus stepped forward.

"Arthur-kun is right. Magic is made to kill. There is no need to doubt it. Even now we use magic to kill in the pretence of protecting people. The magicians and knights in army confront to another army and use magic to kill."

"Sensei, you knew it?"

Arthur was a bit surprised seeing the teacher agreeing with him. He thought he would reject his words.

"Haha. After all I am a former soldier. I know the realities of the world. Listen everyone. It is indeed a truth that magic is used to kill more efficiently. But it is also undeniable that magic is a symbol of prosperity. Today, we are developed more because of magic. Healing magic, enhancement magic, and many magic are used to make people's life more efficient.

Magic is indeed a power which is used to kill people more efficiently. But in the end, Magic is just a means. It changes based on human's actions. The real thing you need to know the goodness magic offers in this world. So, fight for a better world. I hope you all can learn it before learning magic."

'He is a good teacher.'

Arthur looked at Alfred Marcus who said the same thing as him but with a different perspective. Arthur always retorted and told the reality to his classmates so that they can learn the truth.

Even Shin, unlike Arthur has been pampered by his grandparents from childhood. He might have some combat experience against demons, but all comes to naught in front of human.

The rest are noble kids having huge magic affinity and yet they use magic and take it easily. Not knowing the truth and dangers of the world is not good. Ignorance is a blessing, but not always.

Arthur may look like a bad person to them since he always reprimand them, but he also did it with a positive mind. For the first time, he found a place he could belong and he wanted all his classmates to be strong so that they can at least save themselves.

And because of it, he always scolded them. Especially, Shin since he is the center of the class with high hopes from the whole country.

Everyone who were a bit tense relaxed after hearing Marcus-sensei's words. All of them nodded at the teacher's words and after a glance to Arthur continued to follow the teacher.

"So, why are you near me, August?"

Arthur knew that he probably intimidated his classmates a bit. After all he doesn't make any jokes and is always stiff and say logical things.

And that's why most classmates still are a bit unsure to make friends with him.

"Well, you don't have to be so cold. I can pretty much understand your words."

"So, tell me prince August. What did you understand?"

"You know that I am a prince. Even though I haven't experienced many things like you, I am trained to see most things logically. You are worried about them, aren't you?"

Arthur didn't admit it directly.

"I am trying to make them learn the realities of the world. Specially, Shin since he harbours great power. Even though he has a great status, what more important is the dormant power inside him. if he starts to do anything whimsical, or just because of his personal justice just like before in Cecily matter, and by chance if it harms anyone…. Then, August. I am not lying. I will kill him."

August who listened to him looked very solemn at his words. From the tone and intuition, he knew that Arthur wasn't lying to him.

Even though he could arrest him using his authority, August knew that it is bad move. And the greater reason why he didn't confine him for such remarks is because he really considered Arthur as a friend, and an equal.

Just by being beside Arthur, August have learned so much he never imagined. He found himself looking the world with a greater view. And because of that, he understood that Arthur wasn't wrong.

Suppose, instead of Kurt, there was someone else as Cecily's fiancé. Maybe someone with stronger political and personal power.

After all a kingdom doesn't work with just royal family. A group of nobles is necessary. And among the nobles, different opinions is justified.

The noble engaged with Cecily is a person from such a family with great reputation and power. And if Cecily broke the engagement after so many years just because she doesn't like him, then is it okay?

It is okay taking the accounts of Cecily's personal feelings. But here it is the matter of great picture. Now, Shin helps her and she breaks off her engagement.

Normally, the nobles being powerful wouldn't do it, but because of Shin's status they will be in pressure and in reluctance will do it. But it be a damage to the image of the noble.

Then what will happen? In fury, the noble will try to create a rebel front against the Sage and Guru. The radical nobles will side with them since they could also feel the loss of political power because of the high power of Sage and Guru.

Since the people are in support of Sage and Guru, they won't be able to create internal strife, but without a doubt they will betray and work with other opponent countries.

And in future, if it worsens without a doubt a war will happen.

And why it happens? All because Shin acted on his personal justice and saved the girl. It is not wrong, but it was not an issue for him to solve. Cecily could do it on her own with her parents, and with penalty it could be sorted without much problem.

It is good that nothing happened in real case, but…

Who knows if Shin acted impulsively again?
