Chapter 6

Ashley's POV

I was feeling euphoric by the time we got into Scott's car. Daniel asked me out on a date.

Okay calm down Ash, it's just a movie date and there's nothing too special about that is there?

And then I remembered his words,

"I was buying tickets with my friends when you crossed my mind so I decided to get tickets for us to see a movie separately".

That meant that I crossed his mind,he thought of me.

He was really concerned, and maybe! Just maybe! He thinks of me often.

No! No! No! Calm down Ashley you're becoming too hyper.

"We're here Ash, grab your bag from the trunk.

Hey Ash

Ashley!"

Scott shouted jolting me out of my thoughts.

"Thinking about dream guy huh?" Natalie asked grinning.

"Sorry guys, I was lost in thought" I apologized.

I grabbed my bag from the trunk and turned to Scott.

"Thanks for driving us here, see you later" I said giving him a side hug.

He smiled and waved to the girls.

Getting into his car,he drove off.

We got inside the house and after settling down decided to think of something fun to do before talking about boys.

It was just 5pm and it felt so early, I don't know but it might be because today's a Saturday and I'll be meeting my Danny on Thursday, so farrrrrrrr.

"Alright, let's get this girl's night sleepover started people!" Josephine shouted smiling.

"I think we should start with painting our nails" Natalie suggested and we all agreed.

Josephine opened her wardrobe and brought out a manicure and pedicure set kit.

She zipped it open and brought out some stuffs including nail cutter,nail buffer, callus remover,toe separator, nail file, different colours of nail polish and the rest.

Josephine cleaned my toe nails before applying a chalk white nail polish on them.

She did the same to herself and Natalie but applied different colours.

Red for herself and a bright purple for Natalie.

We talked about random things and laughed over them while deciding on a perfect colour for our fingernails.

I went with violet, Natalie went with a bright red while Josephine went with magenta.

We were careful with our nails till they dried off and we decided the next activity.

Make up!

Natalie was the one good at the classy look stuff so with the few make up stuff She brought along and the ones Josephine had she transformed us all into prettier ladies.

We dressed up looking all cute and decided to take pictures.

We looked good in the pictures that we nearly took hundreds of them.

We took the photos with Jowie's iPhone and later on she shared the photos to us.

We admired them a lot and promised to be best friends forever.

We got up and decided to make popcorn for a movie.

I suggested we watch a horror movie so while Natalie was busy making pop corn,Jowie helped me sort for some movies and when we found one we sat comfortably on the couch waiting for the movie to begin.

"This is like the worst movie ever!" I shouted holding tightly to Natalie who sat by my left. Jowie had stuffed her mouth with popcorns while she held the container tightly.

"Nice movie suggestion honey,we won't be able to flick a lid tonight" She said sarcastically then smiled.

We all looked at ourselves mischievously and then realizing the mood we were setting into I screamed,

"Pillow fight!!!!!"

We began throwing pillows at each other whilst laughing uncontrollably.

We finally fell to the floor panting and then burst into a milder laugh.

We got up and cleaned the whole place littered with our mess then proceeded to the bathroom to clean up ourselves and get rid of the makeup on our face.

"The last thing we're doing before eating pizza and going to sleep is Talking about your Danny dearest Ashley" Natalie said with a toothpaste foam filled mouth.

I giggled and then nodded in agreement.

"What do you mean pizza? There's no pizza here or did you stuff any into your bag while coming over?" Jowie asked Natalie smiling.

"Shit! Nat cussed and then spat into the sink. I forgot to order pizza but it was in my mind the whole time.

She left the bathroom with a towel around her body and called Domino's Pizza for a delivery.

She headed back to the bathroom and after a bath we all dressed in our nighties waiting for the delivery.

"The mood is getting boring we need music" Natalie said getting up.

She connected her phone to the speaker and played a song by Lil Tjay ft Popsmoke- Mood swings.

It was loud but wasn't that loud for us not to hear if the delivery man pulls up.

I knew the song and Lil Tjay's side was my favorite part of the song so I begged her to fast forward to his part which she gladly obliged to.

Then they all joined me though that wasn't the chorus but i didn't restrict them singing with me so I sang happily anyways not bothered.

"Okay that's enough of our singing I'd love to hear my baby's voice too yunno?" I said hitting Natalie whose voice was the loudest.

She smiled and looked at me

"Why is that song your favorite? Is it because of your Daniel?" Jowie asked amused.

"Noo! C'mon Jowie, this song was my best before I met him and is still my best. I listen to it with no sensual thoughts, I love Lil Tjays voice and some parts got to me. He was very romantic there talking about treating his girl well and have her looking like a dime and also having her beside him on stage when he wins a Grammy. It was so sweet".

"Awww, you've got a thing for Romantics huh?" Nat asked smiling

"Tjay's got a thing for virgins so you're in luck since you are one" Jowie said laughing.

I gave her a confused look

"Why are you looking at me like that? Have you lost your virginity Ashley Winters?!" She continued

"What! No! I haven't, I was just surprised by what you said about him having a thing for Virgins. How'd you know?" I retorted

"He's always talking about them dumbass" she said smiling

"Oh!" I said smiling.

"Since we've already started this boy talk let's get deep" Natalie said but was interrupted by knocks.

She rushed over to the door and found the delivery guy,she paid him and came back to us with the box of pizza.

She dropped it in front of us while Jowie went to the refrigerator to grab 3 bottles of Pepsi.

We dug in and after eating to our fill nothing was left except the drink.

We rested for a while before Jowie asked for the conversation.
