Chapter 5

Daniel's POV

I was awoken by a call.

"Ughhhh!" I groaned as I turned around on my bed. I picked up my phone and saw a notification, it was Jake who called.

"What does he want so early from me?!" I said out loud.

I took my phone and checked the time only to realize it was almost noon, how on Earth could I have overslept till this time.

I was about calling him when his call came in.

"You sleepyhead! Do you really have to be lazy everyday?! We already had a today planned out to go buy the movie tickets by 11am and now it's almost 12. We're going to have to wait in that long queue!" Jake shouted

"I'm really sorry Bro but chill out,we can still make it there and see how knows there might be a short queue today".

"Whatever Daniel,just get here in 15mins and please don't forget to have a bath" Jake said laughing.

I got up from my bed and headed to the bathroom and since the weather was chilly I had a hot bath and got dressed in a milk coloured Hoodie,a pair of denim trouser and a casual sneaker.

I grabbed my keys and went downstairs, I told mum where I was going and bid her goodbye.

I got to Jake's and he was glad to see I made it before 15mins elapsed.

We drove off in my car and met up with the rest at the ticket office and that is Charlie and Fred.

Okay I was wrong, the queue was quite long so we just had to use the illegal but sweet route.

We walked up to pretty girls and had conversations with them,we got them to think we were in some kind of emergency after this and they let swap positions.

Of course some girls were resistant to the charm but some weren't so we had our chances.

I grabbed an extra ticket with the idea of asking Ashley out on a movie date.

I really enjoyed spending time with her and she was really cute so i bought it anyways.

We were done around at the ticket office around 2pm.

"Ahhh!" I shouted trying to get the attention of my friends.

"I think I'ma die any moment from now, I'm so famished and I couldn't even have a proper breakfast all because of evil Jake" I said holding my stomach and faked wiping a tear.

They all laughed at my corniness.

"Fine cry baby! I will think we should go grab some food and since Jake caused all this he'll have to pay" Charlie suggested.

"Whatever" Jake said faking annoyance.

I swear I could see a slight smirk coming on to his face.

"There! I think that's a restaurant" Fred said pointing to one fancy restaurant situated not too far from the ticket office.

Josephine's POV

We've been at Hugo's for an hour now.

We had lunch and were chatting over some dessert.

I could tell Scott was getting bored and angry because we were having a conversation which he couldn't contribute to and it was really pissing him.

Ash narrated to us how Daniel waited for her to be done with detention and even took her to grab some food and conveyed her to her house.

If that wasn't kindness with a touch of love I have no idea what else to call it.

"Okay! Enough of this whole Daniel lame conversation. You girls are having a girl's night so I think it's ideal you reserve your boy conversation for that moment. I'd like to converse with my dearest Ashy".

He started a conversation about a movie we had watched some time ago and how funny it was. We laughed over it and one talk led to another and we kept laughing.

We were still laughing when I caught sight of some guys walk in through the door.

They were good looking and I called for Natalie's attention since Ashley and Scott were having a special friends time, whatever that meant.

"Speaking of the devil" I said in a loud voice and cleared my throat.

Ashley's POV

I was shocked and yet happy to see Danny walk in through the door with his friends. I recognized them Immediately, they were the guys he sat with during lunch and his friends too.

There he was dressed so cool but yet hot, he didn't need to make an effort to look this pretty.

Oh Gosh! He was walking towards our table.

"Hey Ashley" he said the first time but I was too engrossed in my own world filled with balloons and love and just the both of us.

I felt Jowie hit my leg under the table.

"Uhh, sorry. Hey Danny" I said to him smiling but still feeling shy.

He greeted the others including Scott and thank God he didn't create any scene.

"Just hey? Won't you give your Danny a hug?" He said grinning.

I smiled and stood to hug him but I felt Scott hold my hand, I removed his hand from my wrist and embraced Danny. As I hugged him, I breathed in his cologne which smelled like Vanilla,rose buds and musk. He smelled so nice and I wanted to stay in his arms forever and the way he held me tightly made me think he felt the same way but Fred's voice brought us back to out senses and we pulled out from each other's embrace.

"You guys are here to have lunch but since we're already almost acquainted with each other I think we should all sit together" Natalie offered.

"Alright then" Charlie said smiling.

We all settled and started different conversations but me and Danny kept stealing glances at each other.

"Uhh,Ashley can I have a word with you in private please?" Danny politely asked.

"Sure" I said smiling.

We went over to a private area and he started.

"You look nice by the way"

"Thank you, you look good" I muttered

"Whyyy thank you,is that why you were looking at me like that earlier? I guess I'm too hot" he said chuckling.

"Oh shut up meanie" I said smiling

"I was out with my friends buying tickets for a movie and then you crossed mind so I bought an extra one. So I'm officially asking you out on a movie date with me dearest Angel".

"For real? "

He nodded

"Sure, of course I'd love to" I said smiling.

"So when is that?" I asked

"There will be no school on Thursday and the movie's on Thursday evening so I can think it's perfect" he replied

"That is perfect, my mum wanted me to invite you over for lunch sometime too so if it won't be too much to ask of you can you come over?". I asked looking away shyly

"You've already told your mum about me,aww! of course I'll come Lovebug" he answered smiling happily.

"Don't call me that!" I said smiling

He pulled me in for a side hug and when we got back to join the others they were already getting up to leave so we said our goodbyes and parted ways.

"Come on, I'll drop y'all off at Jowie's house" Scott offered .
