Chapter 4

<MC POV>

It has been about ten minutes since I removed the barrier enveloping the Island. Even though I am not actively using magic, the remnants that have been accumulating for the past two months should be more than enough for them to pick up on their radars. I already have plans in set depending on which JL member comes or if all of them come with hostility. I'm not to worried about young justice team because I'm one hundred percent sure I could take care of them even if they all come at me. I'm going to limit the number of abilities I use to combo star, Darkness and Rashomon. I don't want to reveal all my abilities to the JL because I'm sure they are going to be watching.

Suddenly I picked up on something approaching that got me out of my thoughts. I planned to introduce myself as Zeldris. That doesn't mean I threw away my other name I'm just having a bit of fun. Soon, in the distance I see the silhouettes of ten people. "Well I guess its time to get this show on the road" I thought and I put on my game face.

----<Superman POV>-----

The team and I had landed on this uninhabited Island but were soon met with an indescribable sight. There were small craters everywhere the sand had turned to glass. A battle had definitely taken place here. I immediately spotted a person seated on a stone throne. He seemed aside from the fact that there was a swirl like tattoo above his left eye. It was clear that he was the cause of all this destruction but luckily I didn't spot and sign of humans corpses just dead animals here and there. I was about to approach him when I was stopped by Zatanna.

Zat: [Wait before you approach him I have to inform you that he is a demon and a strong one at that]

It was like a bombshell being dropped. We had never seen a demon so human like before and we knew they had great tenacity we had to approach with caution. Unfortunately not every one had the same Idea.

SuperB:[ Great now we know the enemy so all we need to do is beat him and found out after what happened here] and with that Superboy charged forward before anyone could stop and the team soon followed suit. For now I will observe then step in when necessary. I do admit this makes work easier.

<MC POV>

They didn't even try to talk to me. Guess Zatanna just identified me as a demon and they assumed I was evil. Well guess I'll just make them listen to me after I do need battle experience. First lets test my physical capabilities. I used the eye of Drole and I quickly checked their power level. Superboy was at 50,000 while Superman was at 75,000 but that quickly changed as put on a shield mad by Lex Luthor and was now evenly matched with Superman.

I dashed forward intending to meet his punch head on. Sonic booms were heard as we clashed forming a small crater where we stood. I used this chance to punch back and he flew 20 meters. Wonder girl immediately followed after landing a series of consecutive punches being backed up by Artemis who shot arrows consecutively aiming for my vital areas. It wasn't hard dodging Wonder girl but the two of them working together were a formidable duo. However, the arrows failed to pierce my skin even without being enhanced. Artemis knew she had no chance physically so she continued relentlessly shooting arrows.

Aqualad formed a pair of blades out of water and decided to take this into close combat. Already dealing with pair adding a third was annoying at best but surprisingly the blades actually managed to scratch me. It seems Atlantean magic is effective against me. Robin and kid flash soon joined the fray as kid flash zoomed around me planting robin's explosive batarangs which soon exploded destroying my clothes. To be honest this was pretty fun with all of them fighting in synergy due to Miss Martians telepathy linking all of them together.

I felt a convergence of mana and I spotted Zatanna conjuring a spell. The young heroes retreated to the safety of the jet as she cats her spell. [ Volcanic Rain ] she said. Massive fireballs rained down from the sky as if trying to finish what was left of the sorry state of an island. In all of this superman remained neutral only moving out of the way of the spell. I guess they're assessing the team of young proteges. I now had a clear grasp of my capabilities and now its time to take this a bit seriously.

I activated Goddo and the magic disappears upon impact with my body as I decide to give a little show.

<Superman POV>

*Sigh* I guess Zatanna went a little overkill there was no need for such kind of force. Oh well guess that's the end of that. I see the team celebrating in the jet as we plan to leave. Suddenly, I see Zatanna standing and staring at the battleground in disbelief. As I look back I see the demon standing there completely unscathed.

[ Time for round two ] he spoke in a deep voice. This being was too dangerous as I decide to subdue I ask Zatanna to cast any magic effective against demons. I start to fly over and guard myself preparing for what's to come.

<MC POV>

So I'm facing superman now. Lets see how I fare against the man of steel. His power stands at 75,000 wile I'm at 105,000 but he has something I don't. Battle Experience. I form a giant hand like Derieri and dash found activating combo star. I clashed with him creating a shockwave as he landed a few meters back. Again I come at him this unleashing a flurry of punches. The weight increased with each punch and when I hit one hundred he was unable to withstand the force and was blown into the mountain with a large boom.

looking back at him it seems I just overwhelmed the years of experience with raw power. We'll I'll just learn with each enemy I face so no big deal as of know. I saw him trying to stand up again his arms were broken but he tried to push himself up again but to know prevail as I appeared before him and grasped by hi head and lifted him up. It seems as though I was asserting my dominance but it was a clear message.

To those who oppose me you will end up like him but to my allies I was your greatest hope.
