Chapter 4

Once confirmed that Im ready he pushes some buttons to open the next door.Out of it comes a boar with hard looking stone plats all over his body and two curved tusks on its snout.

Stone element if I had to guess, so it is most likely specialized in defense or strength if I have bad luck its both.

The boar looks at me and makes a movement as if it would sneer at my smaller body size and look down on me.

So~it is prideful. That should make things a little easier.

I stand before the boar and then look away from its location while continuing observing it with my antennas. The boar seems to get very angry at this and begins to huff and puff air trough its big flat nose for some time.

In this time I walked closer to the one way window just far enough that the researcher can still see me without any problems.

This action angered the boar enough that it storms in my direction intending to break all my bones. I wait for it to come directly before me, then I jump just enough to land on its head and it carries me closer to the wall.

Now the researcher cant see us anymore from his position so he got closer to the window to continue his observation.

This is exactly what I wanted now I just have to act fast and hope. I pierce the eyes of the boar with my claws and use the momentum of the dash to jump up to the window. The researcher got surprised as I fly in direction of the window on eye height, but not to long as I twist my body so that all the power and momentum that I can get is directed to my tail, that is now stabbing trough the window all the way to the eye of the researcher.

He didn't have enough time to do anything as a tail penetrated his brain trough the left eye and killed him instantaneously.

,,Plan successfully executed,, I think while hanging on the window over a dead boar. I pull out my tail and let my self fall on top of the boar. A short examination I begin my meal with hast, because I didn't know how long I have till someone fiends out what happened her.

Finishing in record time I use the new energy gained from the boar, which had as expected a earth element affinity, to create a earthen heart next to my other two hearts. The effect was that all my muscles got stronger and my bones, scales and fur got harder and toughener.

After a crushing wave of pain, I use my new strength to expand the hole in the window. Once trough I hesitate for a moment as I think over what to do with the dead human on the ground. The answer is of course ,,eat him,,. Im no longer a human so I should not hesitate over something this banal. Clear minded once again, I go to work.

Its a little different than devouring beasts, it feels as if I ate more than only his body. Throwing away these thoughts I take a look at the gained energy in hope to see a new ability. I am disappointed. This guy has not only no ability even the amount of energy gained from his body is smaller than that of the boar.

I willed the energy to once again upgrade my body size. I need a bigger body to be able to take out an human faster because most of the vital points are higher up.

Once the burning pain is gone I go to the door and use my antennas to map out the space behind it. Beyond the door is a corridor that leads in two directions, but more important there is a ventilation system over the corridor big enough for me to fit.

I press the button next to the door and it opens silently and swift. No ones in the corridor. I use this moment to climb up the walls with my sharp claws and disappear trough one of the ventilation grille. Within the ventilation system I stood still to plan my next movement, in this moment I suddenly pick up a familiar smell that drifts trough the ventilation. Its the smell of cooked meat!

This new information let me speculate the in the direction were the smell is coming from is the kitchen or cafeteria. Should I go there or should I go in the other direction? A moment of thinking and then a decision.

I go to the cafeteria and if all the human are so weak like the first one I might as well kill them all. With this thought in mind I make my way in direction cafeteria in hopes of a good meal.
