Annihilating Flash

Lucifer had a sharp glint in his eyes. The earlier move of his was taught by the old man he knew from his memories it was only after reaching 10th level that he could use it. Lucifer named it Flash!

The discharge of lightning was from the conversion of his internal Magic energy into elemental particles which boosted his speed although sounded simple doing it in within a micro second was easier said than done.

Lucifer pushed the door slightly and entered . He could see James standing in the corner with fear and anger plastered over his face and the vista standing at the centre with sharp eyes. The meaning in them was clear!

Lucifer felt pity for such a guy to have to follow a scoundrel like James but Alas!

Lucifer dropped his jacket to the side, and rolled his sleeve up his hands in chop position to his side. A gun for a battle at this level would just burden oneself, Lucifer knew that very well.

Pheww!

The sound of wind blasting away came from Lucifer's feet as he approached the vista. With a rotation Lucifer's flexible arm slashed towards the vista's neck. The vista blocked it with his hand which was sliced bone deep by the slash.

Zacob didn't mind the wound as he smashed his head into Lucfer's, Lucifer blocked it with his arms as it was too late to dodge in midair.

Lucifer slid back 10 steps his arms were numb but his face had a smile on them. Lucifer knew his objective was James and he had to save his energy because before coming down he noticed the forces in the hotel had started to return.

The vista's injury was starting to heal rapidly this was one of the abilities Vista race had.Lucifer started walking towards his opponent gaining pace little by little and approaching Zacob in zig zag manner.

The rotation increased his angular momentum and the zig zag pattern gave him the time to increase the linear momentum of his body atleast this was what it seemed like.

Zacob could feel the increasing momentum Lucifer was gaining each passing second so not waiting for his opponent to reach him Zacob jumped in Lucifer's direction and punched straight.

Lucifer seeing the incoming attack rotated his body at the last moment sliding across Zacob's arm.

The vista was terrified as he soon realised the move was just a facade Lucifer's true aim was James. Before Zacob could turn and grab Lucifer, Lucifer with his ongoing speed had already arrived before James. Staring down at him his black eyes were as if gates of hell for James.

But surprisingly Lucifer just smiled and grabbing James's neck, holding him in air.

But just then the door was busted open the troops that had gone to the Barbosa hotel had returned the 30 something men after seeing Lucifer hold James's neck immediately pointed their guns towards Lucifer while moving forward. The basement was huge so even after their entry it was not cluttered but the soldier had to scatter as there were structural stability columns standing tall in between.

Lucifer smiled, without even looking at the soldiers who just entered he finally spoke,

"You, I will spare your life today and since you will owe me your life you have to follow my every command or else i will hunt you down till you don't fall dead"

Lucifer slowly turned towards Zacob as he finished. Everyone was bewildered by this statement. James thought as if the man was an idiot or what and started shouting.

"my army is standing right in front what the hell do you arghh…"

Lucifer tightened his hold choking James and whispered in his ears,

"watch!"

Lightning circled around Lucifer making crackling sounds,

Lucifer's image faded away instead all anyone could see was a blue flash moving in between the pillars. All the air inside the basement was crackling creating blue flashes. And amongst the sound of this crackling they heard the death sentence spoken aloud by Lucifer.

"Flash....10 Fold"

Boom!

The sonic blast due to the breaking of sound-barrier destroyed everyone's eardrums.

And suddenly Lucifer appeared across the entire hall standing at the entrance while blue lightning still lingered around the path he traveled like his shadow. Lucifer breath was slightly uneven and blood could be seen at the corner of his lips but their was a smirk on his face.

10 Fold Flash was nothing but an extended version of lightning flash. Flash was an instantaneous move while 10 Fold flash required one to remain in energized state for extended period which used vast energy exponentially.

The move was also more terrifying as flash utilised lightning to increase the speed to certain extent. Although It wasn't close enough to that of lightning but 10 Fold flash increased the user's speed continuously with time. Hence Lucifer could reach speed as much as that of sound in his current state breaking the sound barrier.

Thud! Thud! Thud!....

Lucifer had annihilated the entire army along with James in a single Flash by chopping each ones head.

It was only after seeing everyone's body drop to the floor that Zacob realised what the man really meant. Zacob unconsciously checked his neck feeling an itch after seeing the headless bodies. His vision and hearing was still slightly hazy due to the sonic effect but he could clearly see Lucifer approach him.

Zacob was never afraid of death but today he was fearful towards this man it was an instinctual fear.

But breaking his trance Lucifer spoke in a slightly weak voice.

"James is dead Felicia will be the new Mayor of this City, I have two requirements from you"

Zacob gulped on his saliva while Lucifer continued,

"First kill all opposing her of being the new Mayor, and second protect her. Is it understood"

Zacob although he felt dissatisfied to the fact that he had to serve someone again but he soon sighed relaxing his heart and replied,

"serving Madam Felicia will be far better than serving James…sigh"

Although Lucifer didn't trust Zacob much afterall morals could change any day but it was fine as long as he supported Felicia till she gained absolute power in the city.

Lucifer then picked up his jacket hanging it on his shoulders while he started walking off. But he suddenly stopped and turned,

"I am sorry what was your name again?"

Zacob almost choked on his saliva before answering,

"Zacob"

Lucifer nodded and continued with a smirk,

"Ask Felitia whether she liked the escort service"

Lucifer then walked out with his chin held high up feeling ecstatic after giving out the cheesy line leaving the dumbfounded Zacob in the basement.

Zacob exhaled deeply this man had changed the fate of the entire city over a night.
