Cosmic Energy

"Nah! Cultivation is for losers," Astarion dismissed.

Now, the reason why Astarion looked down on, or even hated, cultivation to some extent was, let's be honest, because his body was as pathetic and talentless as could be when it came to cultivation.

Second, he actually wanted to harness the cosmic energy, in the game ''Eternal Apocalypse''.

Although many types of cultivation were introduced, like immortal cultivation, magic cultivation, elemental cultivation, All of the variations of cosmic energy was ignored all along because everyone thought they was useless.

But the reality was different from what everyone thought; cosmic energy was the most powerful and, arguably, the only path to omnipotence, they say.

But in the Eternal Apocalypse, cosmic energy was just forgotten by everyone, as if someone was trying to hide it from ever being discovered.

However, in the later stages, although not many, a few people did manage to find out about Real, authentic and original basics of the cosmic energy and after finding out the basics of the cosmic energy, they all started to practice it.

But due to some unknown factors, the users of cosmic energy were labeled as servants of the daemons and Evil gods and because of it, all the users of cosmic energy were hunted down by all the cultivators across the world.

All of the factions and races united to hunt down the users of cosmic energy.

But to their surprise and horror, the users of cosmic energy were far more powerful than they had imagined, and a bloody war broke out between the two forces, leading to countless deaths.

Astarion remembered it so vividly because that part of the Eternal Apocalypse was his favorite, due to the sheer amount of bloodshed it entailed.

"Hmm! Sol, do you know of a way to extract someone's innate physique without having any cultivation base?" Astarion said as he thought of something.

To be precise, Krisia's Immortal Spiritual Mind Physique is the top cosmic energy harnessing physique.

To awaken it, you just need to gather some cosmic energy, and it will awaken by itself. Then, you'll be able to gather cosmic energy like a pro.

But since cosmic energy was not even known by people in Eternal Apocalypse, it took many eras for this physique to awaken.

Astarion still remembers the cosmic energy user who had this physique; they were able to dominate many strong cultivators like an adult dominating a child.

Its main feature is to allow its owner to control cosmic energy easily and use it effectively. Astarion cannot let this physique go; he has to get it at all costs.

The problem is, though, he knows many physique-extracting methods from Eternal Apocalypse, but all of them require a cultivation base, which he doesn't have. So, Astarion just asked Sol in case it knew something.

"Master, there is one way to extract that physique," Sol said. "You just need to sacrifice a powerful treasure, like the dark blood gem you have, and then use the spiritual energy created to tear the physique out of the body. It's simple, isn't it?"

Sigh "So there's no way for me to do it right away," Astarion sighed, disappointed by the method Sol suggested, which seemed practically impossible at the moment.

First of all, he needed the dark blood gem now more than ever, and second, even if he wanted to destroy the dark blood gem, he couldn't do it since he didn't possess the power to do so.

"FUCK," Astarion yelled in his mind.

"Anyway, let's get out of this damn city first!" Astarion said as he pushed aside the bodies of the boys he had beheaded, settled into a seat, and commanded in a surprisingly calm, yet frustrated voice.

"Sol! Hack this damn car and get me out of this city!"

"Okay! Master," Sol replied.

In just a second, Sol hacked the entire car's system. Since it was a self-driving car, there was really no need for a car key to start it.

One could simply enter the password set in the car's system and make it drive itself. But since Astarion didn't know the password, hacking it was the better option.

Soon, the Lamborghini roared to life, and Sol was driving it at its full speed of 600 km per hour.

10 minutes later

In just 10 minutes, the Lamborghini was already out of the city. Although only 5 minutes were necessary to exit the city, it took another 5 minutes due to the policemen and zombies scattered all around, which Sol maneuvered the car through effortlessly.

As the Lamborghini came to a stop outside the city, it became evident that there were virtually no zombies in the vicinity.

The high concentration of zombies within the city was likely due to the presence of a protagonist within its borders.

Astarion stretched his body a bit before turning to glance at Krisia, who was still unconscious in the backseat. She had long blonde hair and a very beautiful face. As Astarion looked at her, he placed his finger on the center of her forehead, contemplating.

"Master! Are you captivated by the beauty of this girl?" Sol suddenly inquired.

"Don't talk like a fool, Sol! I'm not a simp," Astarion retorted before adding.

"I was just wondering, since this girl has a mind-related physique, whether her mind might have some different characteristics, like its appearance or something else."

"Oh! If that's the case, you're safe," Sol muttered under its breath.

"What?" Astarion exclaimed, as Sol's voice was just too low for him to catch everything.

"Nothing, hehe," Sol chuckled, avoiding the question.

"I really want to tear this girl's skull apart and see her brain," Astarion remarked with a psychopathic smile.

But then, suddenly, Krisia's eyes fluttered open.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," she screamed, startled and confused by her surroundings.
