Death Request

Eden had dedicated his life to serving as a soldier for his country, selflessly putting himself in harm's way to protect others. On his final mission, fate turned against him. As the darkness descended upon him, it felt as though an overwhelming weight was pressing down upon his body.

The world around him, once brilliant with life and color, began to dim and wither away, shrinking before his eyes until it seemed to cocoon him in silence and solitude.

Despite the crushing despair and the looming presence of death, Eden refused to give in. He clung stubbornly to life, willing himself to survive until a strange energy enveloped him, offering warmth and strength that drew him back from the brink of utter oblivion. As the energy flowed through him, he was startled by a being of light that materialized out of thin air, a presence that was both comforting and terrifying.

With a final breath, Eden surrendered himself to the embrace of death, allowing himself to be consumed by its comforting warmth, and his consciousness slipped away. At first, he fought against it, struggling to keep his eyes open and behold the faces of those he loved. But as the sensations grew stronger, his fear and doubt faded into nothingness.

Eden felt an embrace like that of a long-lost friend, someone who would always be there for him when no one else was. A serene smile drifted across his face as he surrendered himself to the gentle caress of darkness.

For centuries, Eden found solace and comfort in the serenity of death, lost in a realm of darkness until a being beyond time and space awoke him. He opened his eyes to see a being that defied gender and description, an entity with its transcendent presence.

The Overseer, the being before him, introduced itself as the maintainer of countless worlds and the force behind Eden's rebirth. Recognizing the merits of his service as a soldier, The Overseer granted him a chance to make six requests, subject to certain restrictions. Eden was not allowed to request godhood, infinite requests, or the power to create.

Confused and disoriented, Eden asked where he was going. The answer was shocking: Eden would be transported to the world of The Originals as Klaus's older twin brother.

The Overseer granted all of Eden's requests, endowing him with the powers of eidetic memory, instant mastery, and infinite knowledge.

In addition, Eden asked for immunity to magical forces and the ability to control his bloodlust. The Overseer fulfilled his wishes and transformed him into a Tribrid, making him a force to be reckoned with, exponentially increasing his strength and rendering him nearly invincible.

However, there were significant restrictions. Although his powers made him incredibly potent, he could not create new vampires with his strength, and any he did create would be normal.

Even with his immunity to magical forces, Eden was still left vulnerable as he could only withstand up to 40 percent of magical attacks in this new world that was imbued with danger, magic, and intrigue.
