[Third Person's POV]

Rizza kneels on the floor while bowing her head.

She was nine years old when she opened her eyes in the world her parents lived in. Both her father and mother were loyal servants of the Kim household. They met as a maid and guard before having Rizza.

The couple were both happy but because they're connected with a powerful household, their life ended quickly, leaving Rizza in the care of the Kim's household. She was still young when she learnt of her parents and everything about the Kims.

At first, she was shock but little by little, she learned how to love the family that took her in. Her curiosity led her to aspire and become someone who will protect the masters of the house.

So by the time she was of the right age, she decided to follow her parent's path and promised to serve the Kim family until her last breath.

She's the most promising spy in the process so Mr. Kim called for her to protect and serve the young lady of the house as her maid in disguise.

"Report," the Mr. Kim says.

"I have been serving the lady for three days now and I can see how mature she thinks. Not only that. Contrary to the place where she came from, she...seems to have manners. She even corrected her brothers when she woke up with them watching her. The words she uses are most of the time...too formal too."

Mr. Kim frowns. "But she lived most of her life on the streets. So...I guess my daughter is a genius."

Rizza can't help but to take a peek at her master. He looks like he's deep in his thoughts. Rizza takes this opportunity to open her mouth.

"Mr. Kim, with the few days that I've spent with her, I think...that she's capable of studying in advance. She wasn't able to attend school when she was still younger but with her attitude and characteristics, I too, believe that she's an intelligent child."

And just like that, Mr. Kim calls for the best tutors there are. From basic education to a little bit advance, the people who are experts in each field were reached by the Kim household.

I rub my eyes from the sudden light that entered my room when Rizza put aside the curtains.

It's been a week since I came here but everything still feels new to me.

"Good morning, young miss. Ma'am Eunha is already on your study room waiting for you."

Oh right. She likes getting here an hour before our actual class schedule.

Ah... I thought I'd be able to escape studying in this world but I guess knowledge is really power. Well, a dumb person cannot live long.

The day after I was allowed to choose my own clothes, they said that my father called for tutors. I thought that they'll allow me to adjust for at least a month first but I remember starting my lessons in my past life when I was just five years old.

So far, I've learnt that this world contains countries and this country we live in is named South Korea. They also call the king, a president here. What shock me though is that people choose their president. There are also a lot more cultures here and it hurt my head so much just by reading them.

All lectures are mind blowing but the most important lesson I had is learning that the Kim household...is actually a mafia family. We are Koreans but there's a mix of foreign blood in our ancestors so we don't fully follow the cultures of this country. Nonetheless, we are still Korean citizens.

I asked them what a mafia is and what terrified me is that we're not...that good... I actually almost hid myself in my room on the day I learnt that but Rizza explained to me that our family are not bad people.

She argued that we don't necessarily do bad things but we protect our family's honor and pride. The Kim household has been known to keep the other households in check in case they crosses the line for being too greedy.

I want to trust her words but I've been given my own rectangular item called smartphone and since I already know how to surf the net... I searched about it... I searched the "mafia" word and of course, I felt betrayed.

It was kinda heart-breaking because no matter how much they justify the activities and businesses of our household, killing is killing.

Oh goodness! This is just madness!

Back in my past life, I've witnessed live killings and a lot of traitorous acts but I've studied that in this country, it is a heavy crime and that there are so many laws. Here, you can't just swing swords and cut through anyone on the streets. It's just... It's different!

"Miss? Miss?"

I flinch. Rizza just pulled me back from my train of thoughts.

"I apologize but you seem to be distracted this morning, miss," she comments.

I slap my cheeks.

"I'm sorry, Rizza. I think...I just want to get back to bed and sleep. The sun is too bright and it's making me feel...lazy?" I reason but in truth, I just really don't feel like learning how to be a villain.

Ugh! Am I really in the right body? Is this really it? Is this final? Ha! A royalty turned killer? I'm a laughingstock.

I understand now why my brothers are always covered with bandages. They're training themselves not to die quickly since our family have a lot of enemies.

Tsk! I even found out about that gun thing and how it works! Now I'm aware that I almost died twice already. That thing shoots bullets through that hole I pointed at myself. Just wow. I nearly committed suicide!

"Miss, are you sure? What about your breakfast? You should still eat in the morning to grow and be healthy," Rizza says.

"Fine..."

Sighing, I hold the utensils and start to dig in. I don't know. I don't feel like disobeying anyone right now. I'm afraid I'd die in a second since mafias are known to be heartless...and brutal. Gah! I don't want to think at all!
