Chapter 2

In the morning, Calvin came down to the kitchen for breakfast. When he arrived, he saw his mother who was dressed ready to go to work having a serious expression when reading the newspaper.

"Good Morning Mom, what news do you have that your face is so serious?" Calvin asked

"Good Morning Cal, here is some unpleasant news in the newspaper, try reading it!" His mother gave the newspaper to Calvin

On the front page of the newspaper DAILY GLOBE with large written :

SIXTH TOP SECRET LAUNCHING FAILS AT SEA! PHANTOM SABOTEUR STRIKES AGAIN!

This is it! Finally, the original X-Men story begins!

Magneto thwarted the missile launch attempt at the Citadel cap military base!. And tomorrow magneto will attack the military base to take over! But the plan failed because X-Men stopped it.

"I really want to help, but I don't want to disturb their concentration with my sudden appearance," Calvin thought

Finally he gave up and trusted X-Men to handle Magneto. He can introduce himself tomorrow or the day after tomorrow after the tension is over, after all, X-Men headquarters is in one city with him.

even though Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters is in one city with him Calvin decided not to visit the school because he wasn't sure if the original X-Men had been formed yet.

"Stop worrying, I'm sure everything will be okay. "Didn't America have a hero who would protect its citizens like the fantastic four and the avengers?" Calvin said soothingly to his mother.

"I don't know Cal, I'm not sure. More and more heroes appear, more and more super villains also appear "

In the School I kept thinking about how to approach X-Men. should I send a letter first or come directly to Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. technically I have a 'Gift' so I deserve to come to Xavier's school.

Frustrated with what I think finally, I decided to come tomorrow directly to meet the original X-Men. I will come directly as the original Mimic came with the desire to join the X-Men.

I spend my day thinking and preparing tomorrow plan. Before I come home, I stop by the Halloween shop and buy costumes for tomorrow. I didn't expect this store to sell the exact same costume that Mimic wore in the first time.

After buying a costume, I go home. On the way home I saw a black mini jet shot above the sky. It's definitely X-Men leaving for their debut and fighting Magneto for the first time.

I can't stop grinning even until I get home. Mom asked why I was grinning. I answered I remembered something that made my heart flutter. Until nightfall I keep grinning so that makes it difficult to sleep. Because I could not sleep I finally tried meditation to calm the mind. After that I could only sleep.

Sorry for a brief chapter, I have a lot of thoughts which makes it difficult for me to write. I just got fired. Because my workplace was forced to close by the police to deal with the Covid-19 virus outbreak. And it's hard for me to find a new job in these conditions.

i will try to keep write the story but it will took longer time.
