29. Thankful To God

Alexa's POV

Next day I was feeling very happy. When we were all eating breakfast mom asked me -" You look better today is everything fine now."

" Yes..... Thank you mom." I smiled.

she nodded. Because of her everything was fine now between us so I thanked her and leave for my college with Drek. when we reached at the college I saw Sunny walking towards the college then I said to drek -" Can you stop at the side I saw my friend." then he stopped his car and we both came out of the car. And I I said loudly -" Sunny I am here."

She looked at me with smiley face but then her expression changed. she came to us . Her face was looking so dull then I asked her -" what's wrong with your eyes."

she said -" They are fine."

" Are you sure because they are swollen and red." I inquired.

" I am fine. I have something to do so I am going inside bye." She said without looking at me.

she went inside. she was not looking right today then suddenly Drek asked me -" who is she sister-in-law."

" Oh....I am sorry I didn't introduce you .....well she's my best friend. like a sister to me. she always cheery and bubbly type. she doesn't behave like this normally I think there's something wrong with her. ok I am going inside bye." He nodded and left.

When I came in the class she was reading her book. I didn't say anything to her at that time and after some time our lecture was started.

After lecture she was going to the cafe but I hold her hand and took her to the park. we sat at the bench. There were few people at the park.

I said -" Tell me what's wrong."

she didn't looked me in the eyes and said -" I am fine Alexa."

"You know me very well but it doesn't mean that I don't know you. I also know you sunny tell me why were cried last night." I said.

She looked at me and her eyes were turned teary then she hugged me and started crying. In between her cries she told me everything. I was feeling so angry that I wanted to punch that man.

I said in anger-" What the hell ...what is he think about himself. Sunny let's go we should report him. He doesn't have any right to insult others ....that bloody bastard. If you see him again just hit him specially at his main point." I was feeling so much angry that I want to beat him to pulp.

she smiled with her teary face. she was looking so cute like this. I said -" Why are you smiling sunny I am serious hit him hard there and damage his part."

She hugged me and said -" I am so thankful to god that you are my friend ....Thank you Alexa."

" I am also thankful." I hugged her back.

Then we stayed there for some time and leave.

My mood was upset because of that man then mom asked me -" You were happy this morning but now you looked sad... Did something happened in the college."

"I am not upset mom I am angry." I said to her honestly.

" Why are you angry." she asked with worried face.

" Its about my best friend her name is sunny she's very good girl mom when you will meet her you will really like her."

" what happened to her ....is she fine."

" She's not fine. she likes to live her life freely but she met with a man recently and he judged her character and insulted her very badly."

Grandma said after hearing this -" Every woman has a right to live her life the way she wants. No man can judge a woman for their choices."

Then mom said -" You are right ma but there are some man who can't accept this because woman are not allowed but they are allowed because they are man."

" Yes you are right mom. I told my friend if she saw him again just hit him below the belt."

From hearing me Drek started coughing lightly. I just ignored it. He and Nicholas were here while we women were talking.
