Platform 9 3/4

1st September,

I was sitting on couch,watching television as I heard knock on our front door.

"Go check it honey"I heard mum yelled from the upstair.I stand up and rushed toward the door.

As I open it,I found a black owl trying to stand up as he fell,knocked on the door.I giggle as I watch it struggle before helping it to stand.

I look at it and saw a letter on his mouth.Before I can even react,the owl leave me with the letter and fly back to the air.

I slowly pick up the letter and saw my name written on it.I finally remember that McGonagall said that in wizarding world,they use owl system to keep in touch.

I close the door and headed back to the couch sitting with my hand open the parchment slowly.

I read it carefully.

Dear Mrs.Granger,

Today is the day you'll finally go to Hogwarts.I've already bought the tickets for the train,this time it'll be on me.You can found it in the back of this letter.

I look at its back and found a piece of paper that written on top of it,

Platform 9 3/4,Hogwarts Express.

My eyes widen and I'm shocked.I've read about train station in this one book called London's Station but it never mention about station 9 3/4.I shook my head in disbelief before reading the remaining letter.

Your train will move at 3 in the evening.Please don't be late and make sure you bring all the nescessary item with you.

I close the letter and rushed to my mum.

She is baking some pancakes for our breakfast when I tugged her apron making her eyes fell down to me.

"Mum!Today is the day!!"I shouted excitedly.I've been wondering this day for almost four months and it finally arrive.

She just raise her eyebrows in confusion and after a moment her eyes widen.

"You'll going to Hogwarts today?!"She ask in disbelief.

I nodded at her and she quickly finish frying the pancake before dragging me to upstair.

As we enter their room,I saw Dad laying on the bed with newspaper on his hand.His eyes focus on reading until mum shock his body making him to jump a little.

"What is it?"Dad ask in confusion as mum drag his hand and ask him to get ready.

"Hermione gonna attend Hogwarts today!And we don't even get ready yet"She shouted in disbelief as her hand moving packing her things and dashed to the bathroom.

"I guess that is cue for you to be ready honey"Dad said to me.I nodded at him and dashed to my bedroom.

All my thing have been packed for about a week ago as I can't possibly be patience.All books that I'll need was put on the biggest bag of all.Another one is for my clothes.I didn't bring many of them,just enough for one year.

After having a bath,I wear my new robes.It looks dashingly cute so I guess it better to wear it now.

I headed downstair,along with my parents holding my belongings.We take a small bite of my mum's pancakes before entering our blue car and headed to London's train station.

As we arrive on the station,we start our search for the platform.In car,even mum and dad haven't heard the platform's name before.

"Where can we find it?"Mum said as her eyes still wildly searching for any sign of Platform 9 and 3/4.Dad tried to ask the guard but ended up clarified as crazy guy.

I wonder around,hopefully saw any wizard who caught up entering the platform too.

Just then my eyes landed on the same boy I've seen before on the diagon alley.He wondered around alone,searching for something.

My lips curled into a smile and I tugged mum's shirt to get her attention.

"Mum,there!"I pointed at the boy but he dissappeared.I knitted my brows in confusion.

"What is it?"Mum ask in confusion.

"There is..this boy..I see him..arhh..never mind"I said sighing.I haven't tell mum or dad about the boy before.And I felt now isn't the right time.

"Focus honey,you don't want to miss your first train"She said to me,her eyes still gazing wildly on everywhere,trying hard to find this platform 9/3/4.

I shrugged before started to search for it too.Think,Hermione.Where could A magical platform would be??

"It must be somewhere normal people couldn't see"That is it.I tried harder to think.

Inside the wall perhaps?

Could it be??

I turn my gaze to the wall infront of me.I stare at it for a few minutes.

"Honey,what are you doing??staring at that brick wall won't help us"Dad said sighing.He have been wondering around,searching for the platform.

"Searching"I mumbled to him.

Then I sigh as nothing sparkle or maybe some secret button on the wall.I've read it on several book.

Yeah,that's it!!

I pull out my book from the trunk.I open one of it titled as

"Magical Station"

I started opening the index page,looking for the keywords.

Platform 9/3/4

How could I be so stupid!?I've skip this book from reading list cause I've been reading Hogwarts:A mystery for four times.I didn't thought about how important it will be.

I shook my head and started opening page 14.There my eyes landed on the description.

"Head to the third wall from Muggles station Entrance,which is between platform 9 and platform 10."

"Run towards the wall,confidence is suggested to be bring with you."

A wide grin showed on my face.I put the book back to the suitcase.I grab mum and dad's hand,I pull them to the wall next to us.

"Here,The book say here"I said with a grin.

"Here?"Dad ask in confusion.His finger pointed on the brick wall infront of us.

"This wall?"Mum confused too.

I nodded to them,tried to show some confidence.I slowly touch the wall.

"But how?"Mum ask again.

"Magic,perhaps?"I said to her.

"Right"Dad said sarcasticly.He flip his hair to the back,looking stress.

"What the book say?"Mum ask me.

Oh yeah,I almost forgot about that.I shook my head in disbelief.

"It said run towards the wall and confidence is suggested to be bring with you?"I said the exact word I copy from the books.

"Then,that is what we gonna do"Dad said,a thin smile perform on his lips.

We take a few step back from the wall.With mum and Dad,right beside me.I push my trunk along with them.

It felt scarrier so I close my eyes,expecting to be bounce back.But I feel nothing.

I stop the trunk and open my eyes.The vision shocked me.

I saw a station full with people.Most of them are kids with parents with them.There is a long train right next to me,getting ready to move.In its body written Hogwarts Express.

"Wow"Dad exclaimed in disbelief.I nodded in agreement to him as I felt shocked too.

"Come on kids!Inside the train!"Someone's shouted from the entrance of the train,looking like a guard.

I smile at mum and dad before hugging them tightly.Mum already tears out while dad trying to hold it as much as he can.

I cry too,I never been so far from them before.

"You should go"Mum said in a frustration.I nodded and hug them for one last time.

I take a few step from them,taking my trunk on my hand.I wave a goodbye to them.

I push the trunk slowly,entering the Hogwarts Express.As I enter it,the Train finally whistling and leaving.

I ran towards the nearest compartment before waving at my parents one last time.

And the train leaving,to Hogwarts.
