" I am sorry. You can apologize to me later." Noah declared rushing out of the room. The loud sound was something that he was all too familiar with, it was his fucking rifle!

" Wait! What?" Cyra was left on the ground, shocked beyond belief. Not only that bastard saw her naked but he expects her to feel sorry for it? She gritted her teeth vowing vengeance for this utter humiliation.

" Cyra...are you okay?" Bijan called out to her. It was hard for him to move even an inch of his body which was already aching when he tried to lift up his head to face Noah. He is out of danger but it will take weeks if not months for him to recover. Cyra rushed to his side, she had been awake for three night tending to him.

" Brother! How are you feeling?" She tried hard to compose herself but looking at his state she felt sorry for him. His whole body was covered in bandages, it was only later she found out it was that bastard's doing.

All his mobility joints had been shattered to pieces. It was a miracle that he survived that's what his master told her. Mera also warned her that they didn't know if he would be able to regain all his movements because how severe the damage was.

Especially his shoulders, she didn't saw it but from what Mera told her, his arms were practically falling off when she first tended to him. Seeing his pained expression, she knew he was struggling to even open his mouth. How could anyone be so ruthless?

"I...am fine." She felt sad seeing him. If only she was able to take that man down, it wouldn't have come to this.

" I should have....I will.." She had tears in her eyes but Bijan could tell that she was more determined than anyone to take revenge for him.

" Cyra, I will say it...once so listen...don't antagonize him. It was not...your fault what...happened to me."

" But-"

" Please...I don't know...how powerful he is....but he seem to hold peculiar...unique abilities."

" Is that why master decided to stay here? I heard that he saved this village and even went against Lord Sablethorn." Cyra tried to ask about the details but Felix would always skirt over it refusing to give her any information.

" What? So we are basically sitting ducks here!"

" Don't say....that...our master cares for us that's why....he is trying to repay...that man who saved you." Bijan tried to force a smile.

" That perverted bastard saved...me?" Suddenly she had flashbacks of being carried across a hail of arrows. It was hard for her to recall everything because she was going in and out of consciousness at that time but a clear picture emerged in her mind : a picture of a man lying on the ground with dozens of arrows stuck on his back.

" I don't think...he had that...sort of intentions...afterall you were the one that accidently got on his...bed." Hearing him say it she looked back and realized what Noah was trying to tell her.

She clenched her hands, wrinkling the bed sheet that Noah handed to her, draping her naked body. Was she misunderstood him? No, definitely not! She blushed reminiscing about hugging him on bed!

" So please...just focus on recovering...ughh.." Bijan was at his limit as he felt his eyelids getting heavy.

" Brother, don't push yourself! I will go and call someone!" She got up and grabbed the clutches that she used to get around. She had never seen anything like it, there were alternatives for these contraptions made out of wood, but this one was all metal with sleek design with ample padding so that it wouldn't hurt while moving around.

One of the villagers told her that it was something that he made which sounded absurd because she was familiar with the blacksmiths guild and their finest workmanship. It would take weeks of work for them to make something like this but even then it wouldn't be this light.

The material looked like iron but at the same time it was so light that she could lift it with two fingers. Not only that man was a sorcerer but also a craftsman? She shook her head dispelling these unimportant thoughts out of her head.

For now, she needed to inform his master and Mera that her brother had woken up. She rushed outside to see a crowd gathered around the public square. She could hear Mera's yelling so she weave into the center.

" How could you be so careless? What if someone were to get hurt? I told you countless times not to play around with other people's belongings!" She was scolding few children who all had sorry expressions on their face.

" But... we didn't thought it would be like this."

" That's right Chief! That weapon shouldn't fire without sorcerer-"

" You fucker! Does that mean you can just take it outside and play around with it?" She smacked their heads, kneading their skulls with her knuckles.

" Mera..It's my fault. I didn't know that it was still loaded." Noah tried to make excuses for the kids. He almost forgot about it because he was injured but his weapon still had ample bullets in them. It could have been a disaster but fortunately, no one was hurt.

" Shut up!"

Cyra could see Samuel holding the same weapon that he used but what's with this situation? The kids were able to fire that magical weapon? Was the requirements for it so low that even kids could use it? That's impossible! It would take a genius sorcerer to be able to do it. Was that kid a newly awakened sorcerer? She completely forgot why even she came here to do!
