Chapter 9

Eragon POV

We were all waiting for the next full moon which was not long as we just planned to draw them out into the clearing then take them out as I was mentally thinking "So the only way to kill a werewolf in its changed form is to rip them apart unlike the vampires they cannot just attach themselves back."Kate cuddled with me asked, "Hey what are you thinking?"

I shook my head and replied, "Nothing just thinking about tomorrow's confrontation. Those werewolves have heightened strength and speed that make them both deadly and difficult to kill"Kate whispered "Don't worry we already have plans for them."

I replied, "I know but if I will probably have to modify Siobhan and Liam's memories if I use my magic tomorrow."Kate gave a nod since she knew this is something that had to be done as she just enjoyed cuddling with me.

The next full moon we were in the forest waiting for them as two huge, powerful built figures moving like blur rips past the forest. The sound it makes is incredibly deep, feral, and frightening can be heard throughout the forest with help of enhanced hearing Kate and I got tense at the sound of the approaching two beasts. We sped through the forest as we could hear the two beasts sound behind us as we led them to a clearing where Siobhan and Liam were waiting for us. We heard everything became silent. I suddenly heard bushes rustle.

My eyes look to follow the direction in which those wolves were coming. A branch sways. We both took our fighting stance as we waited for the inevitable fight. And then,30 feet up a tree, two massive werewolf creeps out, one of them was black clinging horizontally to the bark the other was brown who just behind it. Both of them were Ten feet tall with their Fangs and Claws. In their changed form, they do not entirely resemble actual wolves: Their forelegs are more powerful than their hind legs, and they still have usable hands with opposable thumbs. In addition, their stance is more upright, making their movement somewhat ape-like, rather than entirely canine.

Out in the clearing, the two Werewolves were snarling at us as the black one looked at me started to hunch, and was about to lunge up at me. While the brown one was getting ready to fight Siobhan, Kate, and Liam.

The Werewolf was heading straight for me as my hands started to glow green as I used terrakenesis to create a hole below the werewolf making it fall.I made it deep enough so it cannot escape easily also made to use the roots of trees to bind it.

The female werewolf snarls viciously and was after Kate who ran straight towards a tree and did a wall flip in this case a tree flip as the werewolves claws missed her as in mid-air kate put hand on the werewolves head and used her ability of Electrokinesis to shock it with full power making the werewolf stunned while seeing the chance Siobhan and Liam tried to rip its hands off only Siobhan was successful while Liam was unable to rip it's arm of as the werewolf recovered from its stunned state and flung him like a ragdoll.

I decided to intervene as I cast a petrification spell which made the werewolf slowly turn into stone as Kate to the opportunity to perform a roundhouse kick and destroyed the werewolf statue into pieces.I looked at everyone as Siobhan asked"where is the other one."

I gestured towards the pit as once again my hands glowed green as the werewolf was brought up all tied by the roots of the trees.I spoke, "Before killing him we must know if there are other Children of the moon out there who can control themselves during the full moon."

Siobhan nodded as suddenly they heard another dreadful howl as we heard something coming our way as I questioned"You said there were only two?"Liam answered, "Yes we only saw two."Siobhan muttered, "Werewolves don't form packs they travel alone or with their mate."

I said, "These werewolves are capable of thought so we forgot they can form a pack too."The Werewolf came out of the woods and pounced at us as we all dodged. But instead of coming at us it went straight to the captured wolf and ripped its head off as it then turned to snarling and studying I whispered "This one has more control over its wolf than the other's."Other's became more cautious this werewolf was white-haired it had a scar over its eye.

My hands once again glowed with green magic as a wall of thorns surrounded the clearing seeing no way to escape without a fight its eyes were on me as I caught it's projected thoughts.I was impressed he figured out killing me would probably lower the wall and he needed to tell their leader about me. I thought "So there is a group of them."

The werewolf now hunched and lunged straight towards me as I telekinetically threw him to the wall of thorns seeing there is no escaping he used ripped his own heart out.

Siobhan and Liam walked towards me and Kate while Siobhan questioned"He killed himself.?"

I muttered "Yes he did."
