"So you're going to pretend as if you're not impressed by my genius". Azure said as he and Alex walked toward the beast mount.

"You know that I can still take you back there if I want". Alex said.

"You can't do that, I already comprehended a bible verse". Azure said.

Alex sighed and rubbed his hand on his head. "You didn't comprehend shit, you faked everything!" Alex said. "What I can't fathom is how you discovered such a wise-sounding bible verse".

"Should we go and ask the bear whether I faked it or not". Azure smirked.

Alex scoffed. "None of the beasts I unleashed on you were particularly strong, if you just had the balls to fight back from the start, we could've been out quicker".

"Whatever". Azure muttered. Arguing with Alex was beginning to become tiring.

If any other squad member saw how casually Azure talked to Alex, they would've hanged up and beaten him to a pulp. Some of them go to the extent of kowtowing anytime Alex passes by.

Naturally, Alex indulged them. He wasn't a hypocrite like the pope who pretended as if he did not enjoy such a 'trivial' show of respect.

They engaged the beast mount and within an hour, they were back at the headquarters. Alex told Azure to continue with the mission about the demons until he contacted him again.

To Azure, it was as if he said to laze around while waiting for him to call.

Azure was on his way back inside when he saw a huge poster pasted in front of the door.

It wasn't that he wanted to notice it. At that moment, he didn't want to notice anything aside from his bed. The poster was just too eye-catching.

It read 'Members Exhibition'.

"What are you looking at?" A female voice said from beside Azure.

Azure jumped. It wasn't because the voice had startled him, it was because the voice sounded as if it came from just beside his ears. He could feel the warm sensation of her breath as she talked.

"I'm just looking at the poster". Azure said lightly.

"Oh, it's the member's exhibition". The girl said softly.

"Yeah, what's that?" Azure asked.

The girl looked at him as if she expected him to say something else. After he didn't talk for some seconds, her expression changed to one of mild annoyance.

"So rude!". She said. "You can't even introduce yourself! Don't you know how to act in front of a lady?"

Saying that Azure was stunned would be an understatement. He stared blankly at the girl while carefully considering the best course of action. In the end, he decided that an apology wouldn't hurt. A decision he would regret only seconds later.

"I'm sorry". He said. "My name is Azure".

The girl eyes him suspiciously. "Do you think I'm stupid, azure is a color". She harrumphed and folded her hands. "Tell me the name your parents gave you".

"Well, life wasn't kind enough to allow my parents live to name me". Azure gave a stiff smile.

If it were any other person, they would instantly feel remorse and try to make him feel better especially since he looked so 'hurt'. But he met a psycho, that was the only thing that could explain her next set of words.

"Since they died, I'll call you Azure". She said without the tiniest bit of remorse. "Of course, Lady Tamra won't tell you her name as punishment for your lack of manners".

Azure was reduced to speechless by a couple of statements by a girl that didn't seem to be older than fourteen. Not only did she not have any sympathy for him, she made it seem as if he had committed some grave sin and she was some benevolent young mistress by forgiving her.

Azure regarded Tamra carefully. She had emerald green hair. Her eyes were black. Her skin tone was pale and delicate adding to her oval shaped face, further amplifying her beauty.

She had on a black leather battle suit. She wore the custom shoulder armor on her left shoulder instead of her right like most people that he had met.

Strapped to her thighs were three daggers with pitch black hilts. Azure had a feeling that those daggers weren't at all ordinary.

"Let me guess, your name is Tamra". Azure said dryly.

Tamra gasped, it was almost as if someone had appeared from nowhere and had a knife pressed against her throat and she reacted as any other normal human being would react.

"You stalker!" She practically screamed at him. "How did you know my name huh? You perverted little bastard!"

Azure stared blankly for a few seconds. This was the second time in the space of a minute that he had been reduced to speechless by this girl standing in front of him.

"You said your name". Azure said.

"What?" Tamra replied. None of the anger that she had expressed previously evident in the tone which she answered.

"You said your name previously". Azure answered.

"Oh…" Tamra slapped her head. "I remember now. Apologies for my outburst". Tamra said. "Now, what were we talking about again?"

For the third time, Azure was speechless. There were so many things that he wanted to say but he decided that the best course of action was to play along.

"We were talking about the member's exhibition". Azure said.

"What do you want to know about it?" Tamra asked.

"Everything".
