"You don't have to explain yourself if you don't want to as long as you are fine now" I sat on the ground and leaned my back on the edge of my bed.

"It's just hard to describe, however, I would probably like to keep it to myself, hehe" She explained and for some reason couldn't help but giggle a bit.

Our eyes met and both of us smiled at each other.

If this was some romance movie and I were sitting near her, I could already see us leaning in for a kiss but there was no sexual tension between us at least I didn't feel it. Despite being plain compared to the other girls, Inogashira was still quite a looker it was just competition being too strong.

I was probably too busy thinking about everything, trying to study, train and remember future events. I hardly had any time to even think about romance and even if I did have time, I doubt I would ever make the first step.

If somebody was to confess to me, I would probably accept depending on the person, however, I already know that I wouldn't be able to be an ideal boyfriend.

"Umm, there is something I have been meaning to ask you for quite a long time, you don't have to answer if you don't want to-" Inogashira broke eye contact and asked while glancing to the side, avoiding looking me in the eyes.

"Are you...just acting in front of everyone? I mean, how did you know about the private points the first month?" She looked as if she didn't know what exactly to ask me.

"Acting...you could say yes but only to mask my efforts. It's not like I am a genius, many people were suspicious of the private points the very first month yet they still chose to blow through them." I am honestly getting tired of explaining I am not a genius but it's not like I blame them for misunderstanding. After all, I did warn her out of nowhere with complete confidence while a lot of people saved only a small portion of their points from the first month.

"Hmm, you previously said that I shouldn't spread your warning for my own sake, however...would they truly ignore it and then blame me for it? It's not logical..." Inogashira asked with a thoughtful expression and I wasn't surprised by this question considering her personality. Of course, it took everything she had to keep it secret, she is too kind.

"Humans don't always act on logic and chances they would believe proofless words of an idiot or a timid quiet girl are practically nonexistent. They might not blame you for it but they would definitely question you about how did you know." I replied in a calm tone as I took Horikita's notes out of my bag.

Hearing my words, she pouted a bit, most likely hearing my description of her.

"So that's how you view me, huh? Timid quiet girl..." She muttered bringing her knees close to her chest completely forgetting that she wears a skirt, giving me a clear view under it.

'White ones, huh? I didn't expect anything else.' I took only one look before averting my eyes hoping she would realize it on her own since I didn't want to make the atmosphere awkward.

*Clap* "Anyway, let's start studying, could you please read my notes aloud and then ask me these questions I have prepared beforehand?" I clapped to get rid of the current tension and offered her notes I got from Horikita and a sheet of questions.

"Huh? Wait for a second, why do you want me to read your notes aloud?" I already expected her confusion.

"This way, we can both study."

"Yes but...those are your notes, why won't you read them aloud yourself?" It wasn't as if she was unwilling, she was just confused by my actions and maybe she also felt like I was placing all the work on her shoulders.

"Because I find your voice calming. I am sorry to make you do this, I promise to take you out for that strawberry cheesecake once the midterms will be behind us."

"...Fine, give it to me" She reddened and snatched the notes from my hand.

She took a deep breath and started reading aloud.

After 15 minutes passed...

"Hey, you are awake, right?!" She stopped reading and asked when she noticed my eyes were closed for good 10 minutes.

"Of course, you can try asking me a few questions" I replied calmly.

"Fine, let's see..." Inogashira started asking me questions and I managed to get almost all of them right.

"Wow, you have a really good memory, I don't understand your low grades if you are that good at studying" She exclaimed.

"...I remembered more than usual thanks to you reading the notes. It's much easier to study this way." I wasn't exactly proud of lying to her but I couldn't just explain why I needed her to read the notes aloud. All of this...is just to make her get used to reading aloud for me.

"Stop it, it's obviously just an act to mask your good memory" She muttered as if to convince herself before she quickly resumed reading from the notes.

We continued studying for a few hours with little breaks in between.

Currently, we were just relaxing and engaging in small talk, though from time to time, there was a strange awkward air between us.

"I probably should get going now, it's getting late" Inogashira got up from my bed and straightened the sheet she was sitting on.

"Yeah...Hey, I wanted to ask you something" She turned at me with a curious expression upon hearing my words.

"Do you want to come exercise with me from time to time? You will definitely find a use for it later." I offered which widened her eyes.

"Again with that confidence...Am I going to apply my physical ability somewhere else than PE periods?" She asked in a suspicious tone but her face was smiling.

"Yeah, in case you will need to run away from danger..." I said with a weak smile and she easily saw through it.

"Fine, you don't need to explain yourself. After the incident with the private points and the time we spent together, I know I can trust you on this. Therefore...I accept your offer, please take care of me!" She smiled sweetly and didn't question me any further.

"Also..."

"Yes?" She tilted her head when she saw my hesitation.

"Be careful of Kushida-san and don't reveal anything about me to her...or to anyone else for that matter please"

"Uhh, I am not sure if I follow but I can promise you that much, however, why Kushida-chan of all people? Don't you like her anyway?" She asked with a bit of sourness in her voice.

"I have a hunch she will go asking around about me and I don't really like her even if it looked that way before."

"Alright, I understand. Have a good night-!" She nodded her head and as she was reaching for the door's handle, I quickly caught her wrist with a panicked expression.

"W-What is it?" She turned at me with a flushed face and eyes full of panic.

"Let me go first and see if it's safe for you to leave" I quickly explained and only then did she realize what she has almost done, quickly retracting her hand that almost reached the handle.

After making sure she can leave, I wished her good night and quickly retreated to my room before anyone could notice the two of us together.

At night...

"...I can still smell her here" I muttered with a blank look on my face while looking at the ceiling. I couldn't fall asleep, my mind was fine, however, Ike's body was the one that was bothering me, especially his or rather my boner.

'Am I really suffering from sexual frustration? So annoying!' I rolled to face the wall but every time I closed my eyes I saw the image of her white panties.

'If you have that much spare energy to think about sex, I will sprint at my full speed for the whole 10 kilometers tomorrow! Be prepared to get destroyed!' I started threatening my body which slowly worked wonders and before I knew it my boner was gone.
