Zen and the four people in his embrace shot through the air as the aircraft exploded into bits and pieces behind him, looking like beautiful fireworks.

The shockwave from the explosion caused some metal scraps to fly in their direction. Fortunately, Zen's back was facing the direction of the explosion, protecting the four people in his embrace.

'Phew, that was close…' Zen thought in relief.

They were now above the island.

'Well, there's now another problem…' He thought as he fell from the sky. The momentum from the jump from earlier was already spent.

'I don't have enough time to calculate the speed of my fall. So let's just say that I'm falling very, very fast…' Zen's eyes darted around the areas below, looking for the most suitable area with terrains that would make it easier to break the fall.

There weren't many choices to begin with, so he just directed his fall to the area with the most trees.

Tightening his hug to make sure that no one would fall from his embrace, Zen rolled his body mid-air and made sure that his back was facing the ground to absorb most of the impact.

'I can recover easily if I'm hurt, but not them…' After glancing at the people in his embrace, Zen maintained his focus.

Countless branches stabbed his back. However, they just broke and did no damage to him at all.

There were also branches that threatened to stab onto Sera's face, but Zen managed to tilt his body just in time so the branches would miss by a hair's breadth.

Soon enough, Zen could already see the ground. However, in order to be safe, as soon as his back came into contact with the ground, he made sure to roll.

Zen looked like a ball that was bouncing and rolling on the ground. However, when keenly observed, every time he was about to make contact with the ground, he made sure to make it so that only his back would make contact with it.

This lasted on for a minute before all the force from their fall was negated.

Zen lied on the ground while Sera, Ren, Rina and Sophie lied on top of him.

Although Zen could already move, he chose to rest first since he judged that the four people on top of him were fatigued.

"We must move…"

It was at this moment that a voice shook Zen out of his idle state.

He looked and saw that it was his father, Ren, who talked.

"Dad?"

"Son, we must get as far away as possible from here!" Ren said before passing out again.

Seeing the state his father was in, Zen stood up without asking anything.

He lightly tapped Sophie's face.

"Arghh!" Sophie clutched his head while slightly moaning in pain.

Although Zen made sure to protect them earlier, the vigorous movements still shook their insides and made them very dizzy. It was like having a hangover, but way worse.

"Ms. Sophie, I'm sorry but this is urgent. Tell me the direction of our destination then you can go back to sleeping in peace." Zen said in a soft voice, afraid of irritating her.

Hearing this, Sophie slowly opened her eyes. She looked up for a short while before pointing in a specific direction.

"There…" She whispered and passed out, as if this last action of hers took up all her remaining energy.

"Thanks." Zen said as he slumped the four people on both of his shoulders.

Then he sped up in the direction that Sophie pointed.

'Heh, I knew that watching those hunting videos would come in handy!' Zen thought as he tried to not leave any traces.

In his 10 years of being bedridden, he had explored all sorts of things. Due to his abnormally high learning speed, the things he learned throughout the years couldn't be underestimated.

He didn't know if this was because of his 11 Intelligence Stat, but every piece of memory came naturally to him. As well as the fact that he could apply whatever was in his mind to his body.

After a few minutes, he had reached the end of the island. To go in the direction that Sophie had pointed earlier, one must cross the ocean.

Zen paused and thought in silence while the four people were still on his shoulders.

Then, he remembered something.

'Geckos can walk on water, right? Harnessing surface tension, surface slapping, and body and tail undulation were the elements that made it possible for them to achieve this.'

As Zen kept thinking, he carefully laid Sera, Ren, Rina, and Sophie on the shore before going near the ocean.

He ran with all his might. However, when he reached the ocean, he directly sank.

Then, Zen's head popped out of the water, showing his expression as he kept thinking. 'No, this is wrong. I should focus on how I control my feet, not my power…'

After preparing, Zen tried again.

"Fuck, I got distracted again! How did Jesus do it!?" Zen cursed out loud, but he wasn't discouraged. As such, he tried and tried again.

"Woohoo! I am Jesus!" Zen shouted excitedly as he ran through the ocean. When observed closely, one could see that when his feet entered the water, they were in a diagonal position.

The force of his step also wasn't focused downwards, but instead, horizontally, before coming out of the water again and repeating the cycle.

Though it may seem simple, putting it to practice was practically impossible since one would need perfect control and balance while doing this set of actions.

Just like that, the problem of crossing the ocean was solved.
