When Unexpected Jealousy Strikes

Two weeks have passed like a flash of light. Since then, Georgina and Giovanni didn't contact each other again while Henrick got busy with his gigs, so she rarely saw him in the house. Amidst the chaotic things that happened, the wedding plans continued as it is, as the designated schedule came up. During the entire week, a famous wedding dress designer came to take her body measurements and let her pick the dress she wanted. Henrick's mother was also attentive during the preparation and asked her opinion on every decision. After choosing their venue, wedding theme, and reception, they let them choose the food and cake.

Although it made her awkward to decide, the people helping them kept giving better suggestions, and they approached her nicely even without Henrick's mother's presence. That interaction helps her to get distracted.

"Is it fitted or too tight on you?" Mr. Lasse said the one who designed her wedding dress while trying out the dress.

"No. It's fitted."

"You chose the right one. This dress fits you well and shows your good body shape. Though it's not finished yet,"

"I expected you to make a good dress, but I didn't expect you to be faster in creating it," Georgina said playfully.

"Madame pressured me to do so, but worth it. She paid me a lot more than my usual salary."

"H-huh?"

"I'm kidding." He chuckled. "Madame seems excited rather than the bride and groom. Maybe, Henrick's the only child she had, and this is the first and last wedding she'll encounter through her child, so she wants to give the best of it."

"D-don't scare me. I almost called off the wedding."

"But I didn't expect to see Henrick getting married. He's the type of person who'll do whatever he wants, and I've never seen him getting serious with a single woman. But as the months passed, I didn't see him flirting with other." He said. "You're a beautiful woman, but I suggest you smile."

"Thank you, Mr. Lasse."

Amidst their conversation, they heard a continuous knock on the door. Before one of them opened it, someone from outside did. Through the reflection from the whole body-sized mirror, Georgina saw the frowned look on Henrick's face as he scanned her from head to toe.

Her face got flustered upon seeing herself. She's wearing her unfinished wedding dress up ahead of the man she's about to marry in a month.

"A-ah... F*ck, that old hag fooled me. She told me you're crying, but..."

"Stop saying anything. Scram, you bastard." She shouted as she threw everything she could get. "Scram."

"Argh. What the f*ck?! I'm leaving, so stop throwing those things. It hurts."

"Scram, bastard."

"I get it," Henrick shouted back before slamming the door—closed.

"I can't believe that bastard. Argh. I want to change clothes."

"Calm down, Georgina." Mr. Lasse tried to calm her down. "I'm going to leave, so change your clothes. Leave the dress here."

She waited for him to leave the room before changing her clothes to a simple casual ones. She walked outside the room and saw Henrick talking to the designer. A playful smirk formed on Mr. Lasse's lips before he excused himself and left them alone.

"Since when did you come back?" She asked, avoiding his gaze.

"I just came back. I didn't know you were trying your dress and got fooled by that old hag." He said.

"M-mom..."

"Mom? Did your mother come here?" He asked, which made Georgina frown.

"What are you saying? Since when did I casually call that evil witch a mom? I'm talking about your mother. She told me to call her mom. Should I not?"

"She's also your mom. Call her whatever you like."

"Argh. It's awkward, but your mom won't stop bothering me and get sulky if I don't call her the same way." She said. "Anyway, I thought you won't come back until next week? Do you have any prior business to attend?"

"Yeah, I came back to change clothes. Kiela called us over to her house. Well, it's not only me, but some of our friends will be there too. It seems like your ex called off the engagement." Georgina flinched and looked straight at him. "Don't look at me like I'm cheating on you. Kiela's still my friend. She needs a friend to rant on,"

"You're gone for two weeks. You didn't even call or text me. But one call of that bitch, you'll come running like a slave called by its master."

"It's not what you think it is. I just..."

"You have the guts to say you were jealous of my ex, but you didn't even think I could get jealous of that bitch. If I have feelings towards Van, I know you have a thing with that bitch. Leave if you want, don't sleep in this room. Find your own, bastard cheater."

Georgina came back inside their room and slammed the door hard.

"Hey, what are you saying? Open the f*cking door."

"Scram."

"Argh. You. I'm going to leave even if you won't let me."

"Suit yourself, cheater."

"I'm not a cheater."

The next day, amidst the mild, cold wind from outside, Georgina and Amanda still do their usual yoga routine near the pool area with their meditated relaxing music. It's been a week since they had a thing about doing yoga to relax their body every morning. One of Amanda's friends suggested it to her and had a single session with Georgina and the rest of her circles. They quite had a fun experience and got adapted to doing it, so it's their usual routine.

Amidst it, both women got distracted when someone turned off the music. They looked in the stereo's direction and glared at the man standing with a confused look. It's Henrick Jung.

"Scram, bastard." They both said in unison.

"What the hell are you two doing?"

"Don't meddle with our business, son. You left your soon-to-be wife alone for two weeks without a call or text and came here to stay in another woman's house. You're a real bastard."

"H-huh? Did you tell my mother this?"

"She had the right to know the truth."

"Argh. Can you stop whatever weird things you're doing? It's distracting me."

"Who told you to come here? Don't disturb us." Amanda glared at him.

"What's this noise? It's still early in the morning." They looked behind and saw Hector, Henrick's father. He yawns while holding a cup of coffee. "Oh? If it's not my stupid bastard son. When did you come back?"

"Dad, what did you just say? Since when did I become the outcast in this house? I'm your son."

"Good morning, Dad. Did you eat the breakfast we prepared for you?"

Henrick got left dumbfounded when he saw Georgina with her genuine, innocent smile as she stood up to greet his father. The woman didn't glance at him for too long but acted friendly toward his dad.

"Oh my, you're taking care of your body today too. I'm glad you found something to do. Besides, the breakfast you both made is the best I've tasted."

"Breakfast? You made my father breakfast, but not me? You don't even know to cook a simple dish. How can you..."

"A bastard like you should shut up. You're ruining my morning." Georgina glared at him before looking at Hector with a smile. "Dad, you told me you'll let me come to watch you play golf today. What time are we leaving? I should prepare a lot."

"You can take your time, honey."

"Well then, I'll eat my breakfast before ."

Georgina purposely bumped into Henrick—rolling her eyes before going inside.

"Argh. Hey, Gina. Are you still d*mned mad?" Henrick asked, following her. "Hey,"

"Don't come near me. You smell like that bitch. Did you cuddle throughout the night?" She asked while still walking towards the dining area.

"I'm not? Well, it's not like I initiated it. She hugged me first,"

"Tsk. It's still the same, bastard. You didn't even come home and stayed in someone else house."

"I'm sorry. We just drank there and slept, nothing else. Believe me." He grabbed her wrist, which made them stop walking. "I'm telling the truth. I swear, I never cheated..."

"Tsk. Cheated or not, you still went to that bitch rather than spending time here. You told me to stay away from my ex and never contacted him again, so I did it even if I'm f*cking worried after the news that he broke off the engagement with that bitch. But you. I hate the hell of you. Let go."

"Gina,"

"Let go."

"Hey, I said, I'm sorry."

"I won't accept your apology. Go, cuddle with your sweetheart. You suit each other." She yanked her hand and continued to walk, but Henrick still followed her.

"Gina, are you jealous? Why are you acting so weird? I..." Before he could finish his words, his phone rang.

Henrick stopped as he took out his phone to see who was calling him, but in surprise, he saw Kiela's name on the screen. He hesitates to answer her call, but he still does it.

"Kiela? Why did you call? I didn't forget anything there, right?" He asked and glanced in Georgina's direction.

"Why did you leave so early? I thought you'll accompany me today?"

"H-huh? Did I say so? But..."

"I need you, Henrick. You promised to accompany me. Are you going to back out on your own words?"

"A-ah..." Henrick saw the disappointment and madness in Georgina's eyes as she stormed out of the living room with those heavy steps.

"Henrick?"

He heaves a deep sigh before tousling his hair. "Argh. What is it again?"

"Accompany me for today,"

"Okay. Where do you want to go?"

"Dad wants me to come with him to Werlington Golf Club. I'll get bored there alone, so come with me."

"Fine. I'll go back to your house."

"Well, I'll wait for you."
