Unexpected Visitors

It's already past eight o'clock in the morning, the sun is up, and its sun rays hit Georgina's room. She felt uncomfortable and covered her whole body with a comforter turning to the left side, opposite the window where the sun's rays came in. Amidst her peaceful sleep, a loud banging outside the door disturbs it. She tries to ignore it, but after a few minutes, her phone and alarm clock ring, which irritates both ears.

"Argh! Damn it, can't you just let me rest for a day?" She sits down with annoyance—tousles her hair.

"Wake up, idiot. Someone is here for you." It's Warren's voice.

She looks at the alarm clock and turns it off.

"It's only past 8:00 a.m., but someone came to disturb me? Who has the guts besides that annoying Margarette Martinez?" She mumbles.

"Gina? Are you awake? Should I call Big sis Marga to co—"

"Don't bring another disaster inside my room. I'm awake thanks to all of this disturbance." She said sarcastically before standing and heading straight to the bathroom to do her morning rituals.

After a few minutes of fixing herself, she went outside the room. Her eyes roam around the living room from the second floor, but no one is around. It's too silent. It's as if there are no people inside the house. She walks downstairs and keeps looking around again in case they are just near to take a walk, but still, no one is in her sight. 'One of Warren's pranks to wake me up again?' The only thought inside her mind while massaging both temples to calm herself.

She was about to walk to her room when someone threw a coin. It hits the back of her head. Her left-hand touches the back of her head while turning to where it came from with an intense menace aura. Both eyes almost pop out when a familiar man with a wide grin on his lips welcomes her. It made her speechless. She stared at him with a question mark on both eyes.

"I know I'm handsome, don't make it obvious, Hon."

Those words made her come to reality as steam coming from both ears and nose. She clenched both fists before running to grab its collar. It's Jaceriel Yuson, the stealer she had just known. Georgina's eyes tell how annoyed and mad she is from seeing the man in front, but he answers him with a playful laugh.

"What the hell are you doing here? Who told you where I live? Answer me!" She almost shouts, tightening the grip.

"Hon, calm down. Is this a new way to greet your lover?"

"L-lover? In your dreams..." She pushes him away, giving him a death glare.

"Maybe you're a real sadist Hon,"

"W-what? Argh! Please get out of our house..." Her index finger pointed at the front door, restraining herself from anger.

A long, deafening silence lingers between the two. The two stared at each other, but in the end, Jace looked away and gave a forced laugh with painful eyes. She noticed it, so she turned away while clenching both fists. In the middle of the silence, they heard footsteps from someone. Before she could even look behind, someone hit her head. It's a loud smack.

"What the hell are you doing, Georgina? I invite him here. How dare you push away my visitor?"

The moment she turned behind, a death glare from Marga welcomed her. Instead of feeling intimidated, she glared back at her.

"It hurts."

"Of course, I purposely hit you."

"Y-you... How dare you hit m—" Before she could finish the word, Marga pinched her right ear. It made her wince—try to remove her hand.

"A-argh! Let go of me. You damn idiot dog..."

"Apologize to him,"

"W-why should I? Argh! It hurts," she shouted out of her lungs.

"Jace came here and cooked breakfast for you, but look how you behave yourself, show some gratitude," Marga shouts in front of her ear.

"Argh! Okay, I'll apologize, so let go of me."

Marga gave a sinister smile and let go of her. After a few seconds, they stare at each other, but in the end, Georgina loses to her and turns back to where Jace stands.

She gives him a forced smile. "Sorry,"

"It looks like my little cousin here didn't know the word sincere..." She flinched when Marga chuckled.

"Damn, I'm sorry. Why don't we sit on the sofa and talk there instead?"

A broadened smile escaped on Jace's lips as Georgina rolled her eyes.

"Good. I had to see my friends outside, so both of you take your time here."

They follow Marga through their gaze while walking outside the house. Another silence came between them, but Georgina gave him a sign to follow her into the living room. She sits on a single sofa while Jace is on the long one as his eyes remain on her.

"Tell me, what are you doing here?" She crosses her leg and looks straight into his eyes.

"I want to see you,"

"Then?"

"I miss you..."

"You're here to annoy me? I surrender, okay? You win." Jace laughed. It's quite a pure genuine laugh that made her look away.

"Don't get mad, Hon. I'm not here to annoy you, but I can't help it. Your reaction is hilarious."

Her blood rises as the man laughs to death while holding his belly. She saw a magazine in front of the table and grabbed it without even thinking twice. She was about to throw it towards him, but a continuous doorbell from outside came. Both look at each other with questioning, but instead of talking to him, she stands up to see who's outside. Despite being a Student Council President, only a few people know her house. She never invites someone unless it's necessary.

"Do you expect a visitor other than me?" Jace asked.

"I didn't expect you to come. You're an unexpected visitor. The same goes for that one." She answers as she stands up and walks towards the front door to open it.

Both eyes widened in surprise as soon as the door opened. The one standing in front was Jin Carson, with an awkward smile. Behind him are Akisha and Giovanni Javier, who emit an ominous aura. A chill ran down her spine as soon as their gaze met each. She looks away in nervousness and turns to Jin instead.

"Hi. I'm back." Akisha said in a cheerful tone—running towards her to hug her.

"A-Aki... W-what are you doing here?"

"Big bro, let me see and play with you today, but he needs to come along, so it's fine, right?"

"A-ah..." She looked at Jin, but he just nodded. "O-okay,"

"Hon, who is there? Why do you take too long to let them in?" Jace said, stopping behind her to see the three, who seemed surprised.

"J-Jaceriel Yuson?" Jin said in surprise.

"A-ah... You should come in first." They move aside to let them in.

She didn't know the main reason, but her heart beat faster than usual when Giovanni strides inside, but he stopped beside her. All she can do is look down, not meeting her gaze to lessen the tension.

"Oh, prepare yourself. We're going somewhere." He said before continuing to walk inside.

"Is it a secret date? Hon..."

"Can't you read the atmosphere, Mr. Stealer? Damn, let's go inside." She closed the door and went to the living room.

An awkward silence echoes in the living room. Even the child looked at them with confusion, but Georgina turned away. She didn't know how to explain everything to her once she asked. In the middle of the silence, Auntie Sita came holding a tray. There's a glass of mango juice on it.

"T-thanks, Auntie."

"Enjoy your drinks. Tell me if you need something." Georgina nods her head.

She's about to get a glass of juice when Akisha talks. "Sis Gina, I wonder, who's he? It's the first time I saw her, and why is he calling you Hon?"

No words came out of her mouth. Instead, she grabs the glass of juice with both hands as it trembles in nervousness. It also feels like she emits a cold sweat.

"Hi, little child. I'm Jaceriel Yuson." He said. "I'm her boyf—"

Before he could finish those words, two pairs of hands covered his mouth. Giovanni glared at him with a warned look, and Georgina begged not to say a single word through her eyes. The only thing they do the same is force a laugh. Jace, who's quick-witted, understands the situation and removes both of their hands.

"A-aki, he's a friend of mine."

"Friend?"

"He's a boyfriend like Jin. Do you understand it, right?"

"Oh, okay." Akisha smiles at them and drinks the juice.

Georgina drinks the juice in one gulp as the sweats fall from her temple. It's not like she wanted to lie to Akisha. The idea of telling her the truth about their situation wasn't an excellent way. She's fond of the two and wishes them to be together for a long while, but it will never happen again. It takes time, but now, they need to lie, or it will hurt her more than them.

"W-well, I'll take a bath. Wait for me here."

"Hon, can I come with you?"

They all looked to Jaceriel, who gave an adorable puppy eye. She heaves a sigh and tousles his hair out of nowhere.

"Of course,"
