The next day, Georgina came out from the balcony when she heard a loud banging on the door. There she saw those two men in black and her mother's secretary looking in her direction with the same emotionless face. She looked behind before staring at them as she let out a chuckle.

'It's earlier than expected,' She thought amidst the awkward atmosphere between them.

In the middle of her thoughts, Georgina saw the secretary whispering to those men in black as they began to search all over the shabby room.

"What are you doing?" She asked while looking at those men.

"I'm sorry, but it's the madame's order." The secretary said.

"You came here to take me. I didn't buy anything than myself."

"The madame was furious since she received the news that you called off the wedding. The Jung Family took back their partnership with Serrano Company and announced that your family breached the contract first." He said and stared at her. "They wanted to compensate an enormous amount of money."

"I see... She must be furious that she wanted to strangle me to death."

"Ms. Georgina, why do you want to provoke her? Aren't you scared she'd do something worst again? Not only to you but to those close to you."

"You know, the dispute between me and that evil witch... It sparked a long time ago before you came as her secretary. All this time, I've been standing at the edge of the cliff—wondering the next thing to do. There's a hand pushing me off the cliff and the other one pulling me away from it." She said, chuckling. "I'm in a dilemma between taking the risk or waiting for an opportunity. Will I jump off and take risks to change the future I have? Or will I wait for an opportunity to come and remain in the same spot?"

"I don't know the answer to that question, but you already have a decision. You don't need to worry because there's always a light at the end of the tunnel."

"I didn't expect you to say those words. Besides, you're a loyal dog of hers."

The secretary tittered. "Before I became a loyal dog, I was born as a human."

"I guess so,"

"Sir, there's nothing important here." One of the men-in-black said.

"If there's nothing, let's go back to the mansion. You should come with us, Ms. Georgina."

"Fine, let's go and see the evil woman."

Georgina let them lead the way. But before stepping outside the shabby room, she looked around as a grin formed into her mouth.

Once she leaves this place, there's no turning back. No matter what happens, her plan will go on.

"Please get inside the car."

"You don't need to be wary. I won't run away." She chuckled before going inside the back seat.

On their way to her mother's mansion, Georgina silently looked outside the window as if many thoughts weighed inside her mind.

"Can we stop by at the hospital? I want to talk with someone."

"Madame's waiting,"

"It won't take too long, just do me this favor and don't report it to her."

The secretary stared at her before heaving a sigh. "Fine. Make it quick."

"Of course."

It didn't take half an hour before they arrived at the hospital. Georgina told her mother's secretary to wait for her in the car, and she wanted to go inside alone. Before they let her go, the two got into a brief argument. But Georgina got what she wanted and headed inside.

She asked the receptionist for Kiela's room, though she hesitated to give any information. But luckily, after saying she was a friend from school, the receptionist gave her the room number.

In front of her room, Georgina hesitated to go inside and stood with troubled thoughts, but in the end, she walked inside. There she saw Kiela half-sitting while looking at her phone. There's still a bandage wrapped on her head and a dextrose. She looked around the cozy room before chuckling, which caught Kiela's attention.

Both eyes widened before they turned to a death glare. Kiela put her phone down and crossed both arms.

"What the hell are you doing here? You have guts." Kiela said.

"Don't expect me to apologize. Between the two of us, we know who's wrong. You don't need to pretend like a saint to me."

"Tsk. I don't want to see your face, so get lost before I call someone to drag you out by force."

Georgina chuckled and walked closer to her. She stared at her from head to toe and heaved a sigh. "Why are you doing this, Kiela? Are you mad that Van called off your engagement? Do you think it's because of me? Why do you need to use Henrick's feelings for your own sake? Don't you have any conscience?"

"Are you lecturing me about good and bad deeds? Who are you? Between the two of us, we know who's using someone for their own sake. Who are you to question me?" She tittered and rolled her eyes. "You left Van without a word. Who do you think supported him when no one wanted to help him? You're nowhere to be seen, and I'm the only one who saw him breaking down in silence and going crazy searching for the likes of you."

"You're right."

"Is that all you wanted to say? You're ridiculous. Maybe we're all young to act like an adult. But everyone has to take responsibility for their choices. Do you even take that responsibility? For two years, who do you think took your responsibility? It's me. I stood beside Van and begged for my feelings to get reciprocated, but you came and took all the hard work I built." A tear fell on Kiela's eyes as she looked away in disbelief.

"Y-you... Thank you for doing it, but it isn't right to force others to love you back, and it's not right to use the feelings of others for your revenge."

"What?"

"Van won't love you the same way you do and don't expect it in the future. You're not the woman he's waiting neither do I. Besides, you knew Henrick liked you as a woman, not only a friend. Don't confuse him and force him to do unnecessary things."

"You... Who are you to talk to me like that? You don't know a thing about me." Kiela said, raising her tone.

"You don't know a single thing about me," Georgina said as a tear fell. "It's not like I wished all of this to happen."

"F*ck. What the hell are you here for? Let's stop this dramatic skit and don't beat around the bush. Do you want me to apologize to Van and Henrick? Or do you want me to apologize to you?"

"Apologized to me? For what reason? You didn't do anything wrong. You just fell in love. I don't need you to apologize for it. Instead, I should thank you for loving Van without malice. At least you sincerely love him. You treasured Henrick as a friend too." Georgina said. "The truth, I came here for that reason."

"H-huh?"

"If a cat fights a tiger, who will win?"

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

"I'm leaving, far away—to the place that no one will reach me."

"Why are you telling it to me? I don't care if you won't come back."

Georgina let out a brief smile. "It's the mere reason I'm telling it to you even if I don't want to."

"Are you crazy? What the hell are you talking about?"

"Kiela, you're a spoiled, foul-mouthed brat, but it doesn't mean you're a heartless woman. We don't have anything in common but one thing. You cared for Van and Henrick, and so do I."

Kiela looked away while clenching both fists, and Georgina noticed her little action. She took a deep breath and looked straight at her.

"Take care of them." She said. "Van might get hurt, but he'll understand my decision. Although, I doubt Henrick will do the same. He's a complicated man, but he'll listen to you. Take care of them."

"Huh? Do you expect me to do it? How selfish can you be?"

"You will do it. Maybe, we're against and hate the mere existence of each other, but you're not a bad person as a whole. You will do it."

"You..."

"It's all I wanted to say. I'll go ahead."

"Hey, Georgina. How confident are you that I'll do it? I'm tired of becoming a second choice, don't rub salt on me. I had enough of all this sh*t."

"I... I had enough of all this sh*t too. I feel like my life was full of dramatic skits. Funny, right? Many people thought I had the blast of my life because I was born rich, but it's too far from reality." She said. "Van and Henrick... They're the last people I want to get hurt. So, I want to entrust them to the person who loves them as I do."

"You're selfish, annoying sh*t."

"Yeah, I am."

After saying those words, Georgina strides outside the room without turning back.
