Drunk Habit

The sun already went down before Georgina noticed it. Many people are coming in and out inside the restobar. Georgina, who's drinking inside, watches every person in a distance. She's sitting in a stool bar, in front of a bartender, and all she can do besides drinking is stare at the entrance door. It's almost 8 o'clock in the evening, but she's drinking for two hours trying to fool herself. Some man comes near and tries to hit on her, but she sues them away by threatening than entertaining more.

After the encounter in campsite, she leave without saying a word except to the head teacher. She confronts her mother, who's staying in near a hotel. But the coward has a bodyguard on her. Even if she vents out her anger, she can't come close. It all builds up inside. Her mind has nothing inside but the word remorseful. Whenever she thinks about how their talk ends up, her anger arises.

"What do you come here for, Gina? Revenge? I heard you kneeled down and accept defeat in front of everyone and the man you love." She smirks and drink a wine.

"I don't want to see you any longer. Tell me what I need to do."

"It's easy, accept the arrange marriage and be my pet. Once you try to rebel again then, I'll take my anger towards your loved ones. Do you know what I mean, right?"

She clenches both fists and bites her lower lip in anger. She can taste the blood from it. "Fine. I'll accept your condition, but if ever you break it again... I'll kill myself in front of you. You know it's not a joke, right?"

"Good, be a loyal pet. Then everything will be fine."

It's a brief conversation but full of tension. She accepted the offer by thinking it's the only option they have to stop all this non-sense.

Georgina stares at the glass of whiskey in front and drinks it in one gulp. A man with a guitar case on his back came beside and sit. He put down the guitar case and sit facing the center rather in front. They look at each other at the same time as their gaze met. Her eyes make a big 'O' after seeing a familiar figure. It's the same for the man who pointed at her.

"VIP / THE BUS..." both said at the same time.

They realize what weird words came out of their mouth and laugh. There's someone performing on the stage, so they can't hear each other much unless one comes closer.

"Are you drinking alone?" He asked.

"There's no one here beside me, so of course. I'm all alone." She laugh and asked for another whiskey.

"You seem drunk. Can you even come home?" She didn't answer rather give a glass to him.

"It's on me this time. Let's drink."

"No. We're going to perform in an hour, but since the drink is here, I'll take it." He gets the glass of whiskey and drinks it. "Oh, you can watch us perform. You should be in the VIP seats..."

She let out a short laugh. "Georgina Alvarez is my name. It's weird to call me VIP."

"Well, I'm Henrick Jung, not the bus. I'm sorry I forgot your name. I met a lot of girls and..." He realizes what words came out through his mouth and looks flabbergasted. Georgina laugh and drinks the whiskey. "A-ah... I mean, in my sideline I can't help but to meet a lot of girls, I mean fans... You know fan girls."

"You admitted to be the president of all womanizers in the entire country,"

"Hey,"

"It's fun to be free, right?"

"Of course. There's no word you can explain what it feels to be free."

A silence lingers around them, only the conversation nearby, the claps of audience and voices of the performers. It's noisy here and there, but for Georgina, everything is too silent. The drinks seem hitting her system now.

Henrick notice she's not talking and glance beside but saw tears falling from her eyes. It shocks him and search for a tissue to wipe.

"What the hell? Why are you crying? Did I offend you? Tell me, I'll apologize." He asked.

"A-ah... No... It's... It's nothing. Maybe I became a crybaby for real."

"You should stop drinking now, go home. I'll call a cab for you." He stands up and wait for her but she insisted on having another one.

"One glass of beer this time, please." She said.

"No. Stop it already. Don't give her anything." Henrick said, mandated the bartender.

"No. I'll pay you with a big tip, so give me a glass... Okay?"

The bartender is about to give, but Henrick slams both hands in front, looks at him with warning. He sigh when the bartender nod his head and went to another customer.

"Argh! Give me a glass, can you? One last glass is enough."

"You have enough drinks. It's time to stop and rest. Go home."

"H-home?" Her face saddened that made him flinch. He saw a lot of girls getting drunk and has a terrible habit.

In her case, it seems like the drinks just hit her. It's the reason she's acting differently from usual. 'It doesn't take a single second to change into a monster,' he thought while looking at the whining woman. Alcoholic drinks are the real enemy of many people. He heaves a sigh and looks at his wristwatch. They're about to perform in 40 minutes. If he let her leave by herself, then there's no guarantee it's safe, but by the look of it, if she stays, she'll start crying and talking non-sense. He faces palm himself, regretting to sit in the stool bar.

"W-what are you saying home? There's a five hour drive to get home and... I don't want to go, no... I can't show myself with this look..." She started crying.

Some of the customer look at them in confusion and some misunderstand the situation. He awkwardly gives them a smile and apologizes for disturbances. Before she could make a big scene, he drags her on the second floor where there're only a few people stays. He's close with the owner, so he lets him use the vacant room and brings Georgina inside.

"Hey, stop crying. This room is not a soundproof." He said, let her sit on the sofa.

"You scumbag! How dare you hurt me?" She hit him on the chest. "Little rascal, ugly monkey, how dare you?!! Elephant musketeer, shark dog,"

For a moment, Henrick zoned out because of the words she utter and believe the woman lives in another planet. There's no such elephant musketeer or shark dog on this planet. She's on another whole level when drunk.

"W-Why are you not saying anything?" She shouted and hit him hard on the chest.

"A-am I supposed to response?" He asked with confusion.

"You do, stupid cat!" she said and bite him on the arm, without letting go. He groan in pain and tries to push her away, but she cries again.

Crazy.

This is the only word running through his mind.

And behind the innocent, pretty face of her, there's a monster the world never seen. He looks at the bite mark on his arm, her teeth mark is visible and deep. It's bleeding, but not too much.

"Argh! What the hell am I doing taking care of a stupid drunkard?" He said to himself.

"Give me a drink,"

"No. You can't drink. Take a rest first."

"Why? I don't want to think anything! This is the reason they made alcoholic drinks to forget." She's like a dog who doesn't stop barking.

"What kind of information do you have in mind? Alcohol drinks don't mean for that. How foolish are you, little princess?" He said, flicking her forehead out of nowhere.

Georgina got hurt and bite him on the side of his neck. They are like a cat and dog, pulling and pushing each other away. As another painful groan left out his mouth and slightly push her head away.

He admits this is the terrible drunk habit he'd ever encountered.

"Are you planning to bite me all over my whole body? Why don't we just go to bed and take it there?" He blurted out of frustration.

"B-bed... Let's go."

Henrick's jaw almost drops on the ground while looking at her in disbelief. It's just a joke, but this woman is out of her mind. He's right not to let her go by herself or else something bad might happen.

"No. I'm just kidding. Take a rest here and I'll come back to escort you home."

"Home? I said I don't want to go home like this,"

"Okay, fine. Go to my home, my home, and not yours. Do you understand?"

"Hmph!"

She looks at him with doubt.

"I'll promise to not take you home, okay?"

Her face softened and nod unconsciously.

After a few more minutes, Georgina still doesn't sleep and keeps pestering him. She didn't let him and cling whenever he tries to stand. At last, after a long battle of patience, she calm down, but their position is too awkward.

If she looks like a dog before, then she's a cat now. She's sitting on his lap, facing him and nibbling on the left ear.

It tickles but he tries not to react and let her get tired.

"Are you having fun, little princess?" He asked, caressing her hair. "Get tired now, please, and sleep. I lost all my energy because of you. How can I even perform looking haggard?" He flinches when she slightly bites his ear.

Few seconds passed, he heard the doorknob move and saw Sceven and Luna with a wide smile but vanish as soon as they saw them. He's about to explain, but Georgina holds his face and lifts it a little to match her. There's an awful premonition came inside his mind but the woman is faster than his instinct. Her lips touch his. The two people standing in front gasps and immediately close the door, still in stunned look, analyzing what they just saw.

Back inside the vacant room, Henrick keeps pushing her away, but the woman doesn't let go. Since the battle of patience they encounter before, there's only one thing he notices. Give her what she wants and she'll stop. It's a total question mark for him but to end it, he kisses her back and leads the move.
