Chapter 5- I'm Sorry

Izuku was now going to his class undenounced to him someone was eavesdropping to his conversation with Midnight.

The nothing eventful really happened the whole afternoon except for Izuku getting a call from Midnight.

On the phone...

Izuku: "Hello, who is this?"

Midnight: "It's me Izuku."

Izuku: "Midnight-sensei, how did you get my phone number?"

Midnight: "Don't sweat the small details, I want you to come at my place tonight to talk further about your situation."

Izuku: "Okay sensei if that's what you want."

Midnight: "Great! Meet me at the park at 7."

Izuku: "I got it, see you later tonight."

Midnight: "Yeah."

Izuku then hung up the phone and started heading home to take a quick bath. After around 6:30, Izuku put on a black shirt and a red shorts accompanied by one of his old sneakers.

He then dashed to the park using 3% of his One-for-All. When the arrived, he was mesmerized by a beautiful lady wearing a long dress with a scarf wrapped around her neck sitting on one of the swing. The lady then took notice of Izuku.

"Oh Izuku you're here." the lady said.

"Are you? Midnight-sensei?" Izuku asked a bit surprised.

"Who else would it be dummy." Midnight laughed.

"It's just that you look really lovely in that dress." Izuku replied scratching the back of his head.

Midnight: "You really are a smooth talker aren't you."

Izuku: "I'm not lying to what I said, you really are beautiful probably the most beautiful woman I've seen."

Midnight blushed madly from Izuku's statement.

"Uwa, he called me beautiful!" Midnight thought to herself cupping her cheeks.

Izuku: "Umm, Midnight-sensei are you okay?"

Midnight: "I-I'm fine, by the way when I'm not in my hero costume just call me Nemuri."

Izuku: "Then..... N-Nemuri."

"Good!" Nemuri said as she wrapped her arms on Izuku's.

Nemuri: "Let's go."

Izuku just nodded.

They started walking towards Nemuri's apartment, along the way they stumbled upon the motel in which Izuku was doing his nightly job. The sight made Izuku flinched a little as shame enveloped his whole body. Nemuri noticed this and gripped Izuku's arms tighter.

"Are you okay Izuku?" Nemuri asked worried.

"Yeah I'm fine, just remembering some bitter past." Izuku replied with an awkward smile.

"If you say so." Nemuri sighed.

They finally reached Nemuri's apartment.

Nemuri: "Come in."

Izuku: "Pardon my intrusion."

Izuku sat on the couch in the living room while Nemuri goes into her bedroom.

~Nemuri's POV~

"I actually invited him over!! My heart won't stop beating loudly, what's happening to me?!"

I covered my beet red face finally realizing what I just did. I have never onced invited a man at my place so I'm quite nervous. I stood up and took a deep breath to calm myself down.

After a few minutes I got out of my room. I approached Izuku who has his eyes closed in the meantime probably tired.

"Um Izuku you awake?" I asked gently patting his shoulder.

Izuku slowly opened his eyes and met mine. I blushed a little but shrugged it off immediately. I can't act like some little girl in front of my student.

"Oh I'm sorry sensei, I might have dosed off." Izuku said.

"Oh it's okay, you're probably tired. By the way do you want some tea?" I offered.

"If it's not a bother to you then yes please." Izuku replied.

I then head towards the kitchen to make tea for the both of us. Honestly I feel like a housewife taking of her tired husband. I blushed to the thought of Izuku being my husband. That might not be too bad if I must say so myself.

~End of POV~

Nemuri finoshed making tea and offered it to Izuku. They then began a conversation concerning Izuku. After a bit of time talking they finally finished.

"I'm going to help cover for your mother's hospital fees so I assume you will refrain from doing kind of job again am I right." Nemuri asked.

Izuku: "Thank you very much for your help Nemuri-san, yes I will stop doing that kind of work from now on."

"Uraraka is really lucky to have found a guy like you." Nemuri stated.

"I wouldn't call it lucky, I think she deserved to be with a much better guy than me." Izuku replied.

"Don't say that, you're doing everything you can for her. Even though you have big problems you are dealing with, you still make time for her.

"Well she is the first person to say she loved me aside from my mom so I was glad when she confessed to me. I will do everything I can to make her happy." Izuku replied smiling.

"You really found a keeper Ochako, If only Izuku could also look my way." Nemuri thought.

Nemuri: "You should probably go home now since it's already late."

Izuku: "Yes I think I should get going now."

Izuku stood up and started heading towards the door.

Izuku: "Well then Nemuri-san, thank you for having me."

Nemuri: "Likewise, be careful going home."

Izuku: "I will, have a good night."

Nemuri: "You too."

Nemuri then kissed Izuku's cheeks and quickly closed the door. Izuku was left blushing slighty dumbfounded by Nemuri's actions. He then walked out of the apartment building and headed home. Nemuri on the other hand was still leaning towards the door blushing like crazy.

"W-what da heck did I just do?!! I can't believe I did that to one of my students, I'm such a failure as a teacher." Nemuri thought as she slumped down covering her face in embarrassment.

Morning came and Izuku was running late because he was tired that night causing him to oversleep. He is now heading towards his classroom, everything was normal except one thing, the atmosphere in the classroom is quite odd for some reason.

"Guys what's the mattter?" Izuku asked.

Izuku noticed Mineta's shit-eating grin plastered on his face.

"Ochako what's going on wi-" Izuku was cut off by Uraraka's sudden outburst

"DON'T YOU CALL MY NAME WITH THAT DISGUSTING MOUTH OF YOURS!!" Ochako yelled furiously.

Izuku frozen in place from Ochako's remarks.

"W-why are you like this? Did something happen?" Izuku said putting a hand at Ochako's shoulder.

"GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF ME!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I FELL INLOVE WITH SOMEONE LIKE YOU!! Ochako shouted while shrugging Izuku's hands from her shoulder.

"W-what do you mean?" Izuku stuttered.

"Oh she knows everything Midoriya." Mineta amusingly said.

"What have you said to her?!" Izuku panickingly asked.

"Don't play dumb, I heard your conversation with Midnight-sensei yesterday." Mineta replied grinning.

Izuku was taken aback by his response.

~Flashback~

Mineta has finished eating his lunch when he saw a glimpse of Midnight and Izuku walking together towards the office.

"That bastard getting alone time with Midnight-sensei!!" Mineta said gritting his teeth.

Mineta then followed them to the office. He eavesdropped in their conversation and heard everything.

"So he is doing that kind of job huh? Im gonna make your life miserable. This is what you get for hogging all the beauties." Mineta thought.

He then left to avoid getting spotted. When the morning came he noticed that Izuku was late so he announced it in front of the class for everyone to hear. This got an uncomfotable look for the boys except Todoroki and Bakugo. The girls had shocked and worried expressions from what they heard except Ochako who was fuming with anger.

~Flashback end~

"O-Ochako I can explai-"

Izuku couldn't finish what he said as Ochako slapped him so hard the sound could be heard across the whole classroom.

Ochako then dashed out of the classroom leaving a shocked Izuku.

Kirishima: "That was not manly Izubro."

Kaminari: "I'm dissapointed in you."

Iida: "I'm going to report this to the teachers."

"Shut up you fucking extras!! You don't even know Deku's suffering!!" Katsuki exploded from anger.

"Yeah, we should hear him out first." Todoroki added.

This gained silence from the rest of the guys.

"A-are you alright Izuku?" Momo asked worried for her classmate/crush.

"Don't worry Izuku, I'm sure you had your reasons." Jiro assured.

Izuku just stood there with his hair shadowing his eyes. Tears refusing to fall from them.

"I'm okay guys, I'm going to head out to get some fresh air." Izuku said as he started walking out the classroom.

The girls tried to stop him but he wouldn't listen.

Bakugo: "Just leave him be for now. He needs to recollect himself."

The girls just nodded as they sat back on their proper seats along with the rest of the class. Ochako came back and also took a seat as class was starting.

Aizawa: "Where's the problem child?"

Momo: "W-well you see sensei something happened and he couldn't make it.

Aizawa: "Is that so, let us begin our class."

Meanwhile Izuku can be seen sitting on the swing at the park with tears streaming down on his expressionless face.
