******NO SPOILER****** I really liked and enjoy it, it was very fun with sering the situacions and its unfoldings, the jokes, missunderstandings and portraits cliches. But was fun for Me till chapter 70... its clearly easy to see that this is 500 chapters of the the same type, sequence of events and joke timing, i even skipped to have sure, and it really is nothing surprising. If you have low experiencies with this type of comedy cultivation novel, i think is very likely for you to enjoy the beginning.....until you realized that ALL the humour and jokes are based IN just 1 only thing for over a hundread chapters(i know that is the base of the novel, but... its is NOT reasonable to write about THE SAME THING , IN THE SAME WAY FOR OVER 2500 PAGES.) Else you will probably gonna be sick of it till chapter 50 or something asking yourself why you reading the same repetitive cycle of events BEING RECYCLED every 10 chapters over and over again.
Nothing exciting after a hundred chapters everything is same mc doesn't knows that he is awesome and he gets lacky and they think he is awesome , here comes a new enemy who is gonna attack him but mc Lackey kills them and mc likes to eat and nothing else seriously this was being repptitive and that he'll annoying
Literally the same thing over and over and over again with a few words changed. Everyone always treats the person speaking about the MC the same way: disdain. “What? Theres a supreme expert? What a joke.” It’s all misunderstandings and ignorance. Not enjoyable at all to read unless you have a low attention span.
Okay lets talk, at the start it was nice that the mc didn't know how powerfull hhe s. His ignorance was nice, but it got really fast boring and it is just shit now. I mean everybody knows hhe s powerfull but not him? It was a nice Idea and i liked the start, but the mc is a retard, you destroyed the whole novel with the mc.
Am i the only one who gets irritated by this side characters for misunderstanding "EVERY SINGLE WORD" of the MC. Why the fk they think MC is trying to TEACH them or HINTING something. Even if they believe Mc is a Immortal trying to live a Mortal life, they shouldn't fking think a Bigshot like him would Give Advice To The Cultivators like them. Why they always think MC is Doing something for their own Fking sake? These Side Characters all Brain-dead or What? Can't they just fking think like a normal person and take the MC's Words like normal people? Bruh already read Chap34. Just can't take it. Is the MC realise his Own Worth ever? If not i have no interest in reading. It is a Fun read but I'm getting irritated by the Misunderstanding Repetition.
I have only read 40 chapters and I can tell you, this is gold, the translation could be better though, many reader are not familiar with some terms. About updates I can say much since this is still on vote phase, but on story development, I can tell is great, the way the events flows, neither forced forward not too slow, with a mix of seriousness and comedy that let's you experience the insight of yin and Yang (joke intended) The characters are not the BS you read of similar novels, the MC is neither self centered arrogant or annoying like others novels of an op MC doing something like... running a restaurant. And the other characters are not annoyingly arrogant or brain dead like many wuxia novels. World background is introduced slowly on events instead of info dumping block text on us like often happen, which is great, rarely info dumping works, and when it does, we talking about big shot books like lord of the ring. I only have like 20 books in my library, as Reverend Insanity, Kingdom's bloodline, Joy of Life, The king's Avatar and Death Scriptures to name a few, they are my top 5, this book will enter on the 6th spot. loving it, having good expectations.
it's nice to relax, after reading some stories about killing, solid killing, cold killing, and that stuff. I need a light hearted story. it's got its downfalls, which is that everything is based on misconceptions. but its still good when your in the right mood. one thing is the character is a Saint with different arts, I wish that it would highlight that more instead of side characters ooooing and ahhhhing, it's like library of somethings Heaven. everyone like omg look at this guy. this story could be great if it actual delved into deeper aspects of the character/ explaining anything about the character would help.
HONEST REVIEW! Okay the story was amazing with only a few things that should have been improved on to make it completely perfect. Story development: the whole story is like just the mc being a bigshot and not knowing but the people around him do know. That’s it. The whole story revolves around the misunderstanding’s that comes with the mc’s actions and words. This does get annoying in the beginning since it’s brought up so much. However after you accept that the whole story’s going to be like that then it’s fine. Characterter design: I loved the characterscters in the story. Each one had a unique personality’s and the actions of even the side characters effect the whole story in the end. HOWEVER! The biggest disappointment was actually the romance of the mc and his 2 wife’s. His first wife Daji’s story was flushed out and the romance was obvious and expected. However his second wife Fire Phoenix felt extremely forced. They had the time to give even a tiny bit of backstory for her and a the very least give her an actually name, but no it was never explored witch was disappointing. World background: The world background was surprisingly vast. Each time we think everything in the world is explored a new area pops out with new stronger characters. The story doesn’t make the new areas too strong but strong enough that with a little push the mc’s companions can catch up and dominate. Overall: The book is great but the romance needs work. The story line and character development is good but the ending felt a Little rushed but at the same time not. THE PLOT TWIST IN THE END WAS GREAT, I think no one expected the twist in the end. The only thing the should have done is expand alittle on it. Overall read it and enjoy just get past the repetitive “I’m just an ordinary guy” line and your set.
