Chapter 10: meeting the bambies x speaking to "him"

Silbern

3rd POV

A group of five quincies have gathered infront of Jugram Haschwalth about to set off for the cardinal world in order to find Riku and recruit him into the wandenreich.

Haschwalth:"Are you ready for your mission?"

Bambies:"Yes sir."x5

The Bambies team are dressed in their sternritter uniforms while carrying a bag on each of their backs. Haschwalth then gives them the communication devices that were completed the day before that bear a striking resemblance to a cell phone.

Haschwalth:"These are the communication devices that will allow you to contact us from that other world. Contact us when you get there and if you succeed in recruiting Riku Kategiri."

Bambietta:"Understood Haschwalth." She said to him before turning to her teamates to say. "Let's go girls."

Her teamates nodded before they walk towards the gateway that was created to send them to the cardinal world.

Plains near Kusha Mountains

The moment they went the gate, they're visionturned white and they each hear a voice. That voice let them know about the resistance they had and the skills they possesed. When they stopped hearing the voice their vision became clear and say a plain infront of them.

They notice that it felt similar but different then they are used to, they sense the magicules in the air like how they sensed reishi. Bambietta looked to her teammates to ask them a question about what she heard when going through the gateway.

Bambietta:"Did you girls hear a voice in your head when going through the gateway?"

The other girls widen their eyes in surprise at the implication behind her question.

Candice:"You heard that voice too!?"

Gizzelle:"You too!?"

Meninas:"So we all heard that voice?"

Liltotto:"Looks that way."

Needless to say they're surprised to find out that they all heard the same voice and want to know what it was.

Bambietta:"Did that voice say anything about skills and about being a high-human?"

Teamates:"Yes."x4

Bambietta:"I'll let Haschwalth that we made it safe and what we just found out"

Bambietta took out the communication device device to contact Haschwalth.

Bambietta:"Bambi to Haschwalth, we made it through the gateway safely and arrived at some kind of plain."

Haschwalth:"That's good to hear. Is the air safe to breathe? Feel anything unusual?"

Bambietta:"Yes the air is breathable. but there was one thing that was weird?"

Haschwalth:"What was weird?"

Bambietta:"It seems that when we were crossing over into this world we each heard a voice telling us that we acuired skills and that our race was high-human."

Haschwalth:"That is odd, and you said you all heard the voice in your heads?"

Bambietta:"Yes thats right."

Haschwalth started to think that the voice might be have been the voice of a god from the cardinal world. However, he's not entirely sure as this world was uncharted territory for him and the other quincies.

Haschwalth:"Continue searching for Riku Kategiri and for more information on that world."

Bambietta:"Understood, over and out." she said as she cut off communication. before turning to her teammates to give her orders."Alright guys we need to continue our mission to find Riku."

Teammates:"right."x4

However, just before they could pick a direction to walk in they heard a voice call out to them.

???:"Hello there, are you girls ok? I was just passing by when I sensed your presense and went to see what it was. Then I heard voices talking about looking for someone. I believe I can help you find them."

They turn to see a figure wearing a coat with a hood up covering its head and face and has a blue blob on his shoulder. They were cautious since he said that he sensed them and heard about how they were looking for someone. Little did they know that the figure that approached them was the very person they were looking for.

A few minutes ago

Riku POV

I had a feeling that the wandenriech would take some kind of action when a quincy from the world of the living vanished but not this soon. I also did not think that they would send Bambietta and her team to this world.

SOD:'So there are some quincies looking for you. Are they here to kill you?'

Me:'I am not sure, it is a possibility. After all, the short one with long black hair has the ability to turn people into zombies she can control by splashing her blood on them.'

SOD:'Wow that sounds like a dangerous ability. Did she have that ability before coming to this world?'

Me:'Yes, but I am sure that coming to this world has caused that ability to change a little.'

I see Bambietta take out what looks like a flip phone, my guess is that shes using that to contact the wandenreich. Luckily thanks to my coat they won't be able to sense my presence but others can sense theirs.

Wait, now that I think about it Maybe I can work this situation to my advantage. Like what if I can get Bambiettas team on my side rather then on Yhwachs side. If they are here to recruit me, I could slowly but surely win over the quincies loyalty and possibly defeat Yhwach before he completely regains his power.

Me:'Nacha, stay on my shoulder for now.'

Nacha:'Understood.'

I see Bambietta close her comunication device finishing her conversation with the wandenreich. I decide to leave the bushes and walk up to them before speaking to them.

Me:"Hello there, are you girls ok? I was just passing by when I sensed your presense and went to see what it was. Then I heard voices talking about looking for someone. I believe I can help you find them."

When I started speaking to them, they turned to face my with a look of surprise since they didn't sense me coming. They seem wary of me which makes sense since from their perspective I did show up out of nowhere and told them i would help them. Lets give them a little nudge.

Me:"This is not the best place to talk. After all, since I was able to sense your presence then others will have sensed it as well. Let's move to a safer place to talk."

After I finished my sentence, I aimed my right hand to my right and not far from us opened a portal that looked like a glass kaleidoscope. When they saw that they had a surprise look on their faces seeing a portal appear.

Me:"Follow me and we can finish our talk. I'll even tell you who I am. I promise it will be worth your while." I said as I walked through the portal.

Mirror Dimension

When I got to the other side of the portal I appeared in what still looked like the plains near the kusha mountains; however there were lines that looked like I was inside a prism.

When I learned [space magic] and [spacial manipulation] I decided to recreate the mirror dimension from marvel so I and my allies could train without anyone sensing us and without damaging the world.

After I got a good look at them I remembered that Bambietta and Candice were very attractive. I remember all the manga, novels and anime where the mc wwas summoned or reincarnated to another world and most of thos stories end.

I was always jealous of of that most of them had harems of beautiful women and than in my last life I was never in a meaningful relationship. I have always thought when I see those scenarios and thought "why couldn't that be me".

After i heard that announcement, I heard footsteps as Bambietta and her friends walked through the portal into the mirror dimension. As the portal closes behind them, Bambietta then began talking.

Bambietta:"Where is this place? it looks the same as where we were before. Also who are you?"

Me:"Alright I will answer your questions and more. This place is a space I call [the mirror dimension]; Its a space I created with magic so I could train without others sensing my strength and without affecting the real world."

Candice:"Magic? you mean this world has real magic?"

Me:"Yes, in this world magic is real. and as for who I am." I then used my right hand to pull down my hood to reveal my face before continuing. "My name is Riku Kategiri but you can call me Riku, nice to meet you."

After I had introduced myself, they had a look of shock on their faces. My guess is that they weren't expecting to find their "target" so soon. They all start to introduce themselves in turn starting with Bambietta.

Bambietta:"Hi, my name is Bambietta Basterbine, but you can call me Bambi. Nice to meet you." she said with a happy tone.

Candice:"My name is Candice Catnipp, but you can call me Candy. Nice to meet you." she said with a happy tone.

Meninas:"My name is Meninas McAllon, but please call me Meni. Nice to meet you." she said with a monotone voice.

Giselle:"Hi there, I'm Giselle Gewelle but you can call me Gigi. Nice to meet you." she said with a happy tone.

Liltotto:"And I'm Liltotto Lamberd, you can call me Lil or Liltotto, I don't really care. Nice to meet you." she said with a monotone voice.

After they introduced themselves, Candice or rather Candy, stepped forward and looked at Nacha.

Candy:"I'm curious, what is that thing on your shoulder?"

Me:"This little one is a slime moonster that I found before we met. Nacha introduce yourself."

After I said that, Nacha got down from my shoulder before transforming into me then gave a bow before introducing itself.

Nacha:"Hello everyone. My master gave me the name Nacha. It's a pleasure to meet all of you."

All their eyes widen with shock seeing Nacha turn into me and talking in my voice. Candy then walked closer and began screaming.

Candy:"What the hell!? Are all slimes in this world able to do this!? Can it turn into any of us?"

Me:"To answer your questions Candy: No not all slimes can do this, And no it can't turn into any of you. It needs information on your body to be ab!e to transform into you. Its able to turn into me because I gave it a small amount of my blood before gaining I gave it a name."

Bambie:"What does getting a name have to do with this?"

Me:"allow me to explain..."

I then explain to them how some monsters can evolve by recieving a name can cause them to evolve. I also told them I have the ability to grant a schrift to others as well and how I gave Nacha the schrift M for [mimic] which allowed it to turn into a person if they have enough information.

Meni:"That ability sounds like an advance version or Royd and Loyd."

Bambie:"I am more surpirsed that he has the same ability as his majesty." She said befoore she had a look of realization before continuing. "Oh, I almost forgot we were asked to recruit you to the Wandenreich and to learn more about this world. Do you think you can teach us since you've been in this world longer than us."

Me:"I could teach you about this world but how about I join this Wandenreich on a trial period so I can get a good read on them before joining permanently."

Bambie then had a look of ccontemplation on her face considering what I said about joining the Wandenreich for a trial period. Then Candy walks up to Bambie to tell her something.

Candy:"When he puts it that way Bambie it makes sense. He hardly knows anything about the Wandenreich, the more he learns about it on the trial period he may decide to join permanently."

I did not expect Candy to agree with my suggestion about joining the Wandenreich on a trial period. Bambie then turns to her firends to ask their opinion on what I and Candy suggested.

Bambie:"Do the rest of you agree with this idea?" She asked her comrades who all responded with a nod. she continued."Ok then it souns like its settled; but we should also ask his majesty or at lease Haschwalth Im not sure if we can contact them from here."

Me:"Well why not give it a try."

Bambie then took out her communication device to contact the Wandenreich to tell them their progress.

Bambie:"Hello Haschwalth, I was sooner then expected but we found Riku or rather he found us and and he requested to join the Wandenreich on a trial period in case he changes his mind about joining."

Haschwalth:"..."

Bambie:"It seems that he was in the area and sensed our spiritual pressure and came to us. He wants to learn about us through the trial period before officially joining our ranks. It also gives us a chance to evaluate his capabilities before officially joining our ranks."

Haschwalth:"..."

Bambie:"We also found out that this world is like those from the fantasy genre with magic and monsters, in fact Riku caught a slime and tamed it."

I'm not sure if I actually "tamed" Nacha but whatever. She then explained that I may have more abilities that I havent revealed yet and that I may be able to help make them stronger to take revenge on the soul reapers for what they've done to our people.

Haschwalt:"..."

After about 10 minutes, here eyes opened wide; seems that Haschwalt said something that caught her off guard. She then walked up to me and held out the device to me wondering what is happening.

Bambie:"He said he wants to talk to you."

Me:"Alright thanks." I replied while taking the communication device and placing by my right ear before continuing."Hello, Riku spreaking." I said expecting Haschwalth to respond but...

Yhwach:"Hello Riku Kategiri. I am the Leader of the Quincies, Yhwach."

After hearing that voice I notice something awaken deep inside of my very soul, I thought I would be speaking to Haschwalth but this...

<Notice. The individual known as Riku Kategiri has evolved into an [enlightened]. Due to this awakening acquisition of the extra skill [Vollsterndich] successful.>

Looks like hearing Yhwachs voice caused me to evolve into an [enlightened] and unlock my [Vollsterndich]. He is known as the "Father of the quincies" but I did not think that i wold speak to him so soon.

Me:"Hello your majesty. I am honored to hear from you."

Yhwach:"Oh? You sound well mannered for your age. thats unexpected."

Me:"I learned to be respectful from my grandfather Soken Ishida, especially to those who deserve respect, your majesty."

Yhwach:"I like that approach, your grandfather must have been a good teacher."

Me:"Yes he was sir." I said while feeling a bit sad remember how he died and what happened to him after.

Yhwach:"Tell me Riku, What is your goal for gaining strength and joining the wadenreich even if its only on a trial period?"

Me:"My goal, your majesty, is to become strong enough that I can protect our people and make it so the quincies can live happy lives experiencing the same suffering we've had to endure at the hands of the soul reapers." I said being completely honest.

Yhwach:"That is a good goal but you are aware that won't be easy to achieve right?"

Me:"I am aware of that your majesty. But all the same, I am not going to give up."

Yhwach:"Excellent. Do you know of a way for you and the others to return to the wadenriech?"

Me:"During the month since I came to this world I obtained the ability to manipulate space but its not strong enough to allow me to travel back to the wandenreich your majesty. It may take some time to achieve that level of power and control but in the meantime I can help Bambie and her team grow stronger and gather allies to aid in our cause with your permision sir."

Yhwach:"Hmmmm... Permission granted. Since youve been in that world the longest out of all the quincies, you are in charge of our operations there."

Me:"Thank you, your majesty. I won't let you down."

Yhwach:"I'm sure you won't. Continue gathering information and send it to us using this device and keep striving toward your goal."

Me:"Understood your majesty." after I said that the call was cut off oh his end. looks like I'll have to work this into my overall plans.
