The synopsis is intriguing and the story started getting interesting around chapter 4 or 5, then from after chapter 14, it became a sloppy mess. Not sure what happened but looks like missing parts and if intentionally edited out, then it was not well done at all. Also if the ML is the Liu guy, from after chapter 14, he becomes like a damsel in distress who hides behind the FL and relies on her in a slightly off-putting way...like instead of it being somewhat equal (i.e. what do you think, how can we approach this, what can I contribute...), it becomes you have to save me, protect me, I'm helpless and panicky. 😐

I WOULD HAVE LIKED THIS STORY/NOVEL IF NOT FOR THE CUTS. I NOTICED AFTER CHAPTER 14, IT LOOKS LIKE IT MISSED A CHAPTER. THEN, THE FLOW OF THE STORY IS MESSED UP. IT'S NO LONGER A SMOOTH SAILING BOAT BUT LIKE A PERSON ABRUPTLY PULLED FROM FANTASY TO REALITY THEN BACK AND FORTH. THE KIND OF BEING LED BY THE NOSE.

It’s not bad till chp20, but the chapters don’t flow well. It feels disjointed and I had to re-read. Anyway, this Liu character is too annoying.

The chapters are all out of order and the story doesn’t make any sense this way. Not a great way to start a test run.[img=faceslap][img=faceslap]

A lot have already mentioned but the chapters seem to be cut ? What I want to add is it doesn’t just start at c14 before that the timeline is so wacky like they say she spent a month looking for ingredients but she’s back to the continuation of what happened before that month?? Also things seem to be happening too fast that I sometimes lose track of what’s going on. In conclusion I don’t think the messy story is only related to the chapter cuts…

The story line is good but I think the chapters are not quite well written. I hope you think about re editing them so that more readers will be interested

The sypnosis reminds me of a very similar novel. I don't if it's the same novel or they are just similar in ideas. If somebody remembers the title of the story please inform me thank you.
