I’m Superman

I never asked for this. These powers. I’m an insult to Krypton. Being half human wasn’t my choice. If I don’t figure out how to control my power, me and Earth could both end up dead.

Chapter seven

Sky's POV, Hokkaido, Japan

_______

I couldn't move. I could bare breathe. It was like someone had a boulder on my chest.

These chains, these brackets, necklaces. They burnt my skin at the very touch. I hold back the tears. The sensation of wanting to cry. But even if I could cry, the pain was so surreal that no tears would come out.

I look at my pale skin. Around my wrist where these special bracelets lie was this color green. This glowing, bright color of green.

The truck stopped. My eyes slowly look up to see I was really in this fucking nightmare.

Guns pointed at me. 10 soldiers on both sides all ready to shoot my at any time.

All I wanted was to live in peace. I didn't bother anyone.

"Stand up." A soldiers voice was muffled by the helmet he wore. Three more press their guns against my head before lifting me off of this cold chair I sat on.

The doubles doors shoot open and that's when I come to realize I was naked. My ankles covered with these chains I heard were called "Kryptonite"

I struggle to stay up.

My eyes were heavy. My lip was busted. I could feel blood dripping from my forehead and into my eyes as I struggle to keep my eyes open.

"We said... STAND UP!"

Three of them throw me from out of the bus. My face hit the concrete ground. I could feel my face lying in a pool of my own blood. My vision blurred and hearing muffled as I could faintly see about 80 soldiers lining up.

That's when a man in a tuxedo steps into the middle.

"Sky Natsuni. Height 4'11, age 22, Ethnicity, Japanese, subject 158B is in custody, Sir!" A soldier says allowed.

"How crazy is that..." The man in the tuxedo speaks.

His voice deep. His skin light, eyes wide, and lips crusty. I shake my head lightly. Still lying flat on my stomach.

I open my mouth, nearly vomiting blood.

"Pl... Plea... please..." I stutter.

I breathe heavily. The pain getting real for this was the first time I've witnessed it.

"To be honest, I didn't know you could bleed." The man paused for a second and just looked at me. We both stare into each other's soul before he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out this stone, this crystal.

I could see the joy in his smile as he did. I couldn't help but look at that thing in fear knowing it could hurt me.

"A Kryptonian. Sky?" The man used his finger, slowly moving my hair behind my ear.

"How many more... Kryptonians... are there?" He poked his lips out as if he were talking to a sad baby.

Tears begin to flood in my eyes. How'd I go from a walk home to this.

That's when I let it out. The tears begin to flood from out of my face as the man begin to mimic me at the same time.

"Awwww. Pour little baby. Is this your first time feeling pain? Are you the so called Superman that has been showing up all over the place?" He asked. I stop crying and swallow snot.

The blood from my forehead that got into my eyes began to burn horribly. My hands began to get weak.

"Kelvin? Should we send her to the test lab in New York?" A soldier asked.

Kelvin being the man in the tuxedo I presume.

He just looks at me with disappointment.

That's when he stands. Four soldiers lift me to my feet before Kelvin clears he throat. Saying words that I'll never forgive.

"Kill her family. Destroy the home. Leave no trace she was ever here. Got that?" Kelvin demanded.

Something sparked in my. I went numb. Blacked out. I throw my arms apart, breaking through the Kryptonite brackets that kept my power contained before taking two of the soldiers and throwing them across the way.

One of them hits one of the truck, creating a hole that went through it.

"STOP HER!" Kelvin yells. I kick another one into a group of soldiers.

I could feel bullets bouncing off me yet some going through my skin due to me being around all this Kryptonite.

Just before I grabbed Kelvin, a necklace was shot around my neck. I instantly became weak. Falling to my knees as I try to pull the damn thing off. The sensation of it burning my skin with he Kryptonite felt like hot needles being pierced into me.

The bullets stopped just as another bracket was shot around my wrist. Then another, then another. I fall to the ground unable to move.

I felt as if I were in a trans.

"Fuckin bitch." Kelvin says.

I cry with angry tears. My face red as I stare Kelvin in the fucking face. These bullet wounds hurt even more now.

All the remaining soldiers grab me. Dragging me to the truck once again.

I did nothing but look Kelvin in his damn face. The hole I had created with that soldier showed me something. Cases and cases stacked on top of each other. All of them filled with Kryptonite crystals.

I don't what his plan is. But for any of my Kryptonians out there... don't trust anyone.

Let me know what you guys think of this chapter and how Sky and Ajax should meet. Yes this is the first and only POV switching I’ll be doing in this book.

Thanks you for reading.
