Chapter 49: Run Wolf, Or You Die

Jade's POV: Seriously, a werewolf. Nathan told me they were real once, but I thought he was joking. I glared at that girl and asked, "So, Rosalyn, you're a...werewolf? And you expect us to believe that?" She rolled her eyes and answered, "Pretty much, and just call me Rosie. I hate Rosalyn." I ignored her and turned to Charles with a smile and said, "Why don't we get home then." Ariana cut in and said, "Uhm. Hell no! You have enough dark magic in you right now to kill an original vampire without moving or talking! It's growing and you think you're fine. You aren't. Elizabeth will be here soon and she'll fix you right up, okay!" I kept a straight face and turned to Ariana and said, "I don't need any help. You can think that I'm crazy or need saved, but for once in my twisted life I feel good! I feel powerful, like I'm invincible!"

Ariana's POV: I grabbed Jade's hands and said, "But you're not, Jade. I need you to see that you're in a bad situation. It's the only way you'll be able to pull yourself out of this stage! Please Jade, for me...for Charles." Jade turned around so she faced everyone. Once she made eye contact with Charles her eyes when white again. In a more threatening voice Jade said loudly, "There's no turning back. I'll die!" Then, when her reopened her eyes they were normal. Jade was left gasping for air as if she was being suffocated, then she passed out. Charles immediately ran to her aid. I went into the kitchen to grab a cold towel and some blood for when she wakes up. I've seen Elizabeth like this one of the first times she used dark magic, it wasn't nearly as bad, but she'd pass out sometimes. This is the best way to feel better, a cold towel and blood! After nearly ten minutes Elizabeth finally arrived, and some time after that Jade woke up. I handed her the glass of blood and she drank it in a flash of a second. She wasn't looking very hot right now so I asked, "How do you feel Jade?" Her head was tilting and her eyes were fighting to stay open as she replied, "Fresh blood." Jade's voice was so weak and crippled that I couldn't help but not help her. Even though she's under the influence of black magic and blood would probably make her more crazy, she needs to be better. I told Charles that I'd be back in a few moments with some fresh, human blood...

Charles' POV: Shortly after, Ariana finally came back with fresh blood, I figured she'd get a more recent blood bag date, but she came back with a human. I scolded to Ariana, "Oh bloody hell! Why did you bring a human back, it'll only make matters worse for Jade!" Ariana rolled her eyes and said, "She needs this." Then she moved the hair from the woman's neck and pushed her over to Jade. I looked at her with pleading eyes and asked, "Jade? Don't..." Once those words left my mouth Jade lifted her head up to me and replied, "I need this Charles! I want this..." Then, with her eyes, blood red, her fangs pointed out, and the blue and purple veins under her eyes spreading down her cheeks Jade bit into the woman's neck and fed. I asked her to stop after some time but she ignored my suggestion. After awhile the woman was nearly dead until I pull Jade off of her. I held my thumb up to her mouth and wiped away the remaining blood on her lips, then I held my thumb up to my lips and licked off the blood. Jade smiled and said, "I think I could've gotten it!" I smiled and shrugged my shoulders knowing Ariana and Elizabeth were probably about to barf. Jade then did the unexpected. She reach her hands over and snapped the woman's neck. We all jumped at the cracking noice. Elizabeth shouted at Jade, "YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO KILL HER!" Before I could stop anything Elizabeth was about to do, she clasped her hand into a tight ball and then Jade passed out again. I asked Elizabeth, "What did you just do to her?" Ah rolled her eyes and said, "Relax baby brother, I just put her to sleep for the next three hours. I suggest we figure out a plan, fast!"

3 HOURS LATER

Jade's POV: I'm gonna rip that little werewolf's head off! I woke up with a wave of rage in my head. I said to Charles, "Can I kill her now! It'll happen eventually, just let me do it now!" Charles looked at me confused so I said loudly, "Rosie!" He put his hand on my cheek and said, "Don't worry to much right now, we're trying to get the darkness out of you for good." He sounded so calm, it only made me want to scream even more. I then mildly yelled, "This is all her fault! If Rosie would've just kept running past this house, or better yet, if she wouldn't have ran at all, she never would've ended up in our living room or in danger. I never would've had to distract some creep while you two were off playing hookie. Then he never would've gotten on my nerves and I never would've had to kill him, therefore the darkness would've just stayed buried! So please, just let me kill the werewolf!" Charles started shaking his head and said, "No. Please Jade, don't kill her, we need her alive, okay?" I nodded my head and then felt another wave of darkness overcome my body. The white eyes were back and the deep voice in my head came out, it said, "Run wolf, or you die!" After it said that I reclaimed my own body and returned myself back to a more normal state. Still darkness, but no creepy voices. I mean I'm not disagreeing with the voice, I want Rosie dead! I called out to Rosie, "The voice is right. You should run, I'll give you a ten second head start before I kill you!" Everyone in the room stared at me for a few seconds so I continued, "7...6...5...4" and so fourth. Once I started counting Rosie started running. She ran out the door and into the woods, I could hear her. "2...1! Ready or not here I come!" I said in a snarky voice. But before I stepped one foot out the door I hit my head. I looked around me but there wasn't anything there. I tried walking through the doorway again but I failed to do so. It was a barrier spell! Obviously casted by Elizabeth. Great, now I'm trapped with a bunch on lunatics for who knows how long...
