Side story - Teddy Bear

It's been 2 weeks since Togiri and Fang stopped fighting in the Arena and a couple of months since the incident with Chrollo Lucifer and the Seven Deadly Sins.

Fang and Togiri left a destroyed training room dressed in the clothes that they wore attending the Hunter Exam, but a few sizes smaller. Both were drenched in sweat and panted with a white towel around their necks.

"Now that we're only fighting against each other I feel like I'm getting stronger by the minute! Too bad we never became floor masters." Fang sulked a bit.

"We still have so much to learn in Nen. We will after develop our Nen abilities after the Hunter Exam. Then we will become floor masters."

"Why can't we go this year but still need to train 2 more years before we go? The Hunter I previously defeated wasn't even strong enough to make me sweat" Fang was pumped up to challenge anyone and anything.

"We don't know how difficult the Hunter Exam is and also you saw the other Hunter that we met 2 weeks ago. When Kite showed us his Nen, we were like ants compared to him."

The Hunter in fact that they saw was none other than Kite, the unofficial student of the famous Hunter Ging.

Kite fought in the Heaven's Arena to make some money to cover his travel expenses or that was at least what he told the boys.

Togiri and Fang fought Kite multiple times on the 200th floor and both stood no chance and lost. Kite didn't fight them seriously, but instead of ending the match instantaneously he helped guide them a little while fighting.

Togiri and Fang learned many things from the fight that other Nen fighters on the 200th floor didn't showcase. Things like feints using your aura fluctuations and experiences that were gained from years of experience.

Kite could have simply overpowered both of them and the kids wouldn't have learned anything. The reason why Fang and Togiru left the Heaven's Arena was Kite.

He said fighting others and winning matches wouldn't help them grow as much as focusing on the basics and strengthening their basics.

Togiri and Fang took his advice to their hearts as their senior and short-time mentor and teacher. 'Sensei, I miss you!' @Why are you so pathetic?@ insulted Seven his master.

"Ugh, I feel so sluggish and powerless!" Fang took steps as if his feet were cement blocks.

"Honey look at them!" said a woman to her boyfriend walking passed Togiri and Fang. Fang got annoyed after hearing the woman that walked passed them.

"It is the middle of the day. It's so hot, why do we need to do it now?" The shop that got the bear is in the city center"

The two boys were currently walking around the city looking for a teddy bear. Fang's little sister Lilia lost her teddy bear and she would not sleep without it and cry all night.

Togiri and Fang were exhausted. They were awake for 20 hours. Both fought against each other for 10 straight hours and they also wore their new customized heavy clothes.

Togiri was even worse than Fang, because he increased with Seven's help his clothes an additional 50 kg, making his total clothes weigh 150 kg (300 pounds).

"We are almost there! The last shop! When I called they said that they had the teddy bear. Huff Huff" 'Seven reduce the total weight to 120 kg. I can't walk anymore. It feels like my leg tendons are ripping apart.'

"Finally!" Fang put his arms in the air and quickly put them down again and wallowed in pain. Togiri and Fang stood before a pink shop called "TINA'S TOYS".

Togiri tried to open the door but failed. The door was locked. There was a letter glued on the glass door [ I'm sorry there is an emergency. Will be back in two days. ]

"Sigh~. Fang, how about we break in and leave the money behind?"

Fang the stickler of justice never did anything bad except beat people up and play pranks on Togiri, but Fang looked at Togiri for a moment and then turned his head away.

Fang spoke quietly "We can't do that" Togiri burst out laughing. "You thought about it! Hahahahah".

"Alright. Let's go home. Let's order that teddy bear or buy it second hand" Togiri put his arm around Fang's neck and grabbed him.

"I guess" Fang was visibly disappointed. Both already went to 8 different stores to buy the same teddy bear their sister Lilia lost.

"Are you!..." Both turned around looking at the voice. A girl looked at them with big shining eyes. She looked to be their age.

She wore a blue princess-like dress similar to cinderella and had curly blond hair. Togiri and Fang looked at each other confused.

"Are you guys the Tenacious Togiri and the Fearless Fang?"

"Eh? Yeah?" answered Fang confused. Togiri's blushed out of embarrassment. The girl's face lit up as she heard Fang's words.

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Can I have an autograph? A picture! Can I shake your hands?!" The girl's energy was overwhelming.

"I need to call all my friends!" She pulled out her phone and tipped on it like crazy. "Tangs assemble!"

"T-Tangs....?" Togiri asked her and was even more confused and felt very embarrassed.

"Ah! The Tangs are the Togiri and Fang fans! If you put both your names together it becomes Tangs. I'm the president of the fan club!" The girl pointed at her chest and held her head high and seemed very proud.

"Please let me take a picture!" Togiri and Fang were dumbfounded and red in embarrassment.

A couple of minutes later Togiri and Fang finished giving their autographs and taking pictures with their fans. A crowd of girls appeared before the store and they build a circle and in the middle of it were two boys.

Togiri was very embarrassed, but Fang was acting cooler and more smug than usual. Like Paparazzi there were picture sounds and flashes everywhere, and very intimate questions were asked.

Many people on the street stopped and looked at the crowd of girls fanatically spending time with Togiri and Fang.

"Togiri is so handsome and mature. The first time I was him was in the Heaven's Arena. My heart melted. I hate violence, but I love it when Togiri is fighting. I wish his face would never be hurt" said a girl.

"Hmm. What's so good about Togiri? Fang is the most handsome! His red fire hair and ocean blue eyes with his smile and handsome face are the best!"

"His eyes are sky blue, not ocean blue!"

"No! It's ocean blue!" The girls started arguing with each other.

"Togiri is the most handsome and coolest. He is as cold as ice, but when he smiles and laughs It's as if the snow and ice were melting and it becomes spring". Togiri and Fang smiled awkwardly.

Togiri felt very awkward that little girls wanted to kiss him and were so obsessed with him. Some had made his face on key chains or had his face as the home screen on their phones. In his eyes, he had an average face.

What was even worse, was that most girls had wild theories about their life. They said Togiri was a genius that could make even a falling business successful. Ignorant comments like these annoyed Togiri and Fang.

'I wish my life was like this in my previous world and these were all grown women and not little girls. @Dream on! The only grown woman that would want you in your last life would be blind or gold diggers@

"Oh!" Togiri hit his head as if he had an idea. "Girls! Can you help us by finding a teddy bear? Here is a picture how what it looks like. Can you help us?"

Fang looked at Togiri before the girls exploded with happiness "Yes! I will find it! Trust me!" "Yes!" After that, all the girls ran away in different directions to look for the teddy bear except one girl.

The girl was younger and looked like it was around 4 or 5 and didn't seem to belong to others girls they just met. "Big brother!" Togiri lifted her to his chest. "Little girl, where are your parents?"

"I don't have any! I want to be like you when I grow up!" This shocked Togiri. When he looked closer he saw that the girl wore old dirty clothes.

Fang and Togiri looked at each other. "Where do you live?" asked Fang concerned.

"I live there." The girl pointed to the left of her. Then she looked sad. "Don't cry, don't cry! I'm here and I will protect you. Look how strong I am!"

Togiri then put the girl down and threw Fang around in the air as if he was juggling balls.

"Hahahaha, more! More" The girl laughed, clapped, and smiled again. "Here!" Togiri started walking on his hand clapping with his feet.

Fang also started doing various tricks like rolling and jumping around. Soon a crowd formed and the people saw two boys performing acrobatics to cheer up a little girl.

Togiri pushed Fang in the air and Fang made a triple backflip. Togiri stretched out his arm and Fang landed with his butt on Togiri's hand.

"Oh..." Fang then farted and Togiri got angry and punched him. Everybody was laughing and the girl too was holding her belly from all the laughing.

Togiri and Fang brought the girl home and gave all the money they got from the people and a couple million of their own to the orphanage the girl was staying at after Togiri determined that the director was trustworthy.

"We will go now, but don't worry we will visit. Listen, Amber. You don't need to become strong like us, but you need to become happy. Don't hate your parents or the life you were born into." Togiri wasn't sure if she would truly understand his words.

"Yes..." said Amber very sad that the Fang and Togiri were leaving.

"Tada! Here is some candy for you." Togiri gave Amber some candy and patted her head. "The are many animals, beautiful places, and good food in the world." Togiri looked sentimental in the sky.

Fang continued talking "The world is a very big and scary place, but even so, It is beautiful!" Fang and Togiri just said some words without much thought to cheer Amber up.

Only in the future, would they know how much of an impact their words truly had on her.
