The same annoying voice that asked Marcus to start over was heard again explaining the rules.

The third phase went by the Majority rules games.

"That's it? You crappy judge. You better tell me any additional rules before stopping me again." Marcus shouted to the intercom.

Seeing Marcus was so angry, Gon and his group wondered what it was about.

As they were walking through the maze, Gon asked about it and Marcus told him of what had happened.

"You reach the bottom?" The group was surprised when they heard he did reach the bottom.

After a few turns and choice, they finally arrived at a strange stage.

Four silhouette appeared on the opposite stand and walked out with cuff on their hand.

It was the the cuff was opened and a bulky man walked out with a smile.

"Allow me to explain.

The people before you were the prisoners of this tower.

The committee had officially hired them to be the examiner for this exam.

You will have to fight five of them in this round.

The fights are to be a one on one fight.

Each person may fight once.

Feel free to choose any method you want.

There won't be any draw.

A win is declared when your opponent admits his defeat or dead.

Defeat three of them to pass this round." The judge voice came out and explained.

After the explanation ended, a burly guy walked out to be the first fighter.

"You may pick your order. The majority rules." The guy spoke to Marcus and his group.

"Let Killua go first then." Marcus spoke.

"Me?" Not only Killua, but the rest of the group was surprised with the sudden suggestions.

"Aren't you raring to kill somebody since last night? There you go." Marcus pointed to the stage.

"I see. Okay." Killua immediately accepted the suggestion.

"Are you sure killua? He looks strong though." Leorio asked.

"Yeah. Let me do this." Killua said.

As soon as they decided the fighter, a bridge came out and connected to the stage.

"Is he going to be okay?" Kurapika asked Marcus

"Him? That prisoners should be asked that with that question. It is a shame if the descendants of Zoldyck Family were easy to handle.

"Z-zoldyck? That assassin family?" Leorio was shocked when he heard Marcus spoke of Killua's family.

"Owh that's right. Killua told me that he came from assassin family." Gon added.

The fight ended as they were talking. Killua cut off Bendot's head without any trouble and ended the first fight almost instantly.

Then it came for the second round. Seeing Killua first win, Gon was eager to go for the next fight.

The second fight turned to a joke when the second examiner brain had outdone himself with the candle.

As soon as Gon blew of the candle Marcus immediately shouted Happy Birthday to the examiner.

Kurapika, Leorio and Killua laughed when he heard Marcus.

Gon returned grinningly with 'peace' finger, celebrating his victory.

As the next examiner was about to come out, Marcus suddenly jumped out into the stage.

"I can fight all three of you if you want me to." Marcus spoke arrogantly.

"There is no need." A rough voice spoke from the dark.

A man walked out slowly from the tunnel while crushing the wall to show off his strength.

"That's... Johness the dissector." Leorio face turned dark when he saw the man.

"You know him?" Gon asked.

"He is the worst mass murder in Zaban's history. They said he killed more than 100 people at random with his bare hand alone. He was known for his iron grip." Leorio told him what he knew.

"Wew." Killua whistled out unimpressed

"Mass murder or not. Can you walk faster. What with this slowpoke show off." Marcus urged Johness.

"It has been a while since I taste human flesh." Johness crushed the stones in his hand when he arrived in front of Marcus.

"The flesh is in front of you. Why don't you have a taste instead of talking." Marcus sneered.

"A deathmatch right?" Marcus asked for the fight method.

"Deathmatch? This will be a massacre." Johness raised his hand and attacked.

Poh!

Johness face turned dark as he saw his hand was stopped by Marcus with one hand.

"Iron grip? More like cotton grip." Marcus commented and instantly clenched his finger.

The clench immediately shattered Johness hand to the bone.

Feeling the predicament of his situation, Johness immediately back away and about to shout for his surrender.

However, as soon as he was about to do that, a blow arrived at his neck and crush his vocal cord.

Suffocating from the blow, Johness had almost lost his consciousness before he felt pain on his knee.

It turned out that Marcus had crushed one of his knees and made him back to consciousness.

"How about it? Not only you can taste the flesh, you can even heard the bone was crushing." Marcus grinned.

He went on crushing all Johness body parts and stepped on his head to end his life.

"Tch, I can also do that." Killua pouted when he saw Marcus tortured Johness.

"This scary duo.." Leorio stared towards Killua after he heard him.

After killing Johness, Marcus kicked his corpse out of the ring, and walked back

"How is it?" Marcus greeted Killua as soon as he left the ring.

"So, so. I can make him suffer 100 times more if I want." Killua said arrogantly.

"I've never doubt that." Marcus nodded.

The exam continued as new tunnel opened besides them.

Entering the tunnel, they walked until they reached a room with a lot of weapons.

After they were given the choice to take a long or short route, Marcus group immediately chose the long route for everyone to pass the third phase together.

However, as soon as they entered the long route, Marcus stopped his step and punched the wall beside the short route.

Making the hole on the wall, Marcus told the idea to take a shortcut and assured them that the judge had never told them couldn't do so.

The group overjoyed to hear the idea that they could finish using a shorter route.

"This guy!" Watching Marcus send a blow to create a hole in the wall for shortcut again, the judge cursed.

"Forget it. Those obstacles aren't going to stop them either. I can use them for other contestants instead." He decided to let it go and turned towards other contestants.

Walking out of the door, Marcus was set as the fifth person to complete the third phase followed by Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio.

As soon as they entered the big hall, everyone could see a small hole on the wall was repaired by the staffs.

"Heh. That's fast." Marcus smirked.

Hearing his voice, one of the staff turned and looked at him.

"M-marcus san." Lisa was surprised to see Marcus was standing amongst the group.

"Lisa? Hello." Marcus waved his hand towards Lisa.

After short greeting, Lisa continued to do her job.

As for Marcus he walked around to see if there was anything interesting available in the hall.

It turned out that the hall had a food vending machine for everyone to get food and drinks for free. Other than that there was nothing else but a flat floor.
