Training X Begins

I continued with my happy dance for some time, until eventually I could do so no longer.

Once that happened I fell onto my bed with a happy and refreshed smile on my face. Despite all the energy I just spent.

I mean I have a real reason to be happy after all. Not only my mother, but also my father and grandmother are all certified pro hunters.

My parents also just told me they are going to begin my training, so that means becoming a pro hunter and passing the hunter exam will be easy as pie.

The being that sent me to this world truly blessed me.

I said a silent prayer to him before relaxing.

Until eventually dinner time came around.

Once it did I went downstairs and ate with my parents, chatting about various things. Though most were related to them being hunters.

However they are very tight-lipped about their adventures at the moment.

Oh well.

I'm sure they will tell me more about them later.

Before I knew it dinner was finished.

Then once it was I went upstairs, took a bath, and then put on my pajama's before climbing into bed.

Falling a sleep with a smile on my face as I did so.

----------------------------

Sitting on a couch opposite of the one's my parents are currently sitting on I waited for them to speak.

It is after lunch, and now we are going to pick up where the conversation left out yesterday. Which is what I have been waiting for.

"So Soren as you learned yesterday both your mother and I, along with your grandmother are pro hunters." Dad began. "But even though we are all pro hunters, we all do not hunt the same kind of things."

"Oh really?" I questioned. Even though I know what he probably going to say seeing as how I watched the anime and read the Hunter x Hunter manga a number of times in my last life.

"Yes." My father said. "I hunt criminals. Specifically I am a terrorist hunter. Meaning I take down the bad guys." He said.

I nodded when he did so.

"I am not like your father. I am a jackpot hunter." Mom told me. "Meaning I hunt down ways to makes lots and lots of money." She explained to me. "But to be clear I don't steal money from others. I simply fulfill requests and get paid for them."

"Understood mom." I said. "Also, what kind of hunter is grandma?"

"She is a treasure hunter." Dad told me. "She goes all around the world searching for gold, jewels, ancients books, and so much more." He said. "Though I wish she would visit us a bit more."

"Yes, I want mom to visit us more as well." My mother said. She then put a finger on her chin for a moment before removing it and snapping her fingers. "Ah, I just thought of something. Now that we are going to begin Soren's training let's give her a call and ask her to come help out."

"Nice dear. As usual Ana your ideas are brilliant." My father told her.

"Why thank you honey." Mom said.

The two then began gazing into each other's eyes, but thankfully they did not create a pink zone this time around.

Instead they only looked at each other for a while before turning their attention back to me.

"Alright then, let's get things started." Dad said.

"Yes." I said. "So then, what kind of training am I going to be doing?" I asked my parents. Although I have a general idea I want to get clarity.

"You will be learning martial arts, and about various subject matters like history, geography, law, etc.." Mom explained to me. "But if there is something you don't particularly want to learn or in fact the opposite just let us know."

"Yes, don't be afraid to hold back son." My dad added. "Since although this is training you still have room for freedom in some aspects of it. And as to why we are training you its because as pro hunters we have seen the beauty of this world, but also all the dangers it has to offer." He said seriously.

My mother nodded. "What your father said it true. Some of the things we have seen would make you smile like the sun, but some would give you nightmares that would never go away." She said. "And we know we won't always be there to protect you. As such we decided after you were born that we would train you with the necessary skills and give you the necessary knowledge so that you could live in the world without too much trouble."

When my parents told me there reasoning for my training I started tearing up. Then I jumped out of my seat an rushed over to them hugging them both.

Since at this moment I truly feel loved beyond a doubt.

"Mom, dad, thank you." I told them.

As I did so I felt them hugging me back.

A smile forming on my face as I did so.

Since I wouldn't trade these parents of mine for anything else in the world.

-------------------------------------------

I ended the hug with my parents after a while.

Once I did my mom started heading towards the backyard, motioning for me to follow her. Which I did.

Arriving we went to stand in the middle of the backyard.

"Alright, are you ready to begin training?" My mom asked me.

"Yes." I said.

"Ok, then here is your first training regimen." Mom said.

She then reached into her pocket and handed me a slip of paper.

Unfolding it I read it and once I did it took all I had not to cough up blood right in that moment. Because the training regimen is something I am familiar with from my previous life.

100 sit-ups

100 push-ups

100 squats

10 kilometer-run

Seeing the start of my training being the Saitama workout of all things I really only wish for one thing.

That I keep my full head of hair.

But other than that I am good. It's a nice start to training, considering I am still only five-years old after all.

Once I memorized the routine I folded the paper back up and then slipped it into my pocket.

I then got started.

Taking my first steps on the road to becoming stronger.

Feels good.
