Chapter 7

the news that Huguel killed the mayor of the favela spreads across the country.

The mayor's killer is the most wanted man alive in the entire country, and there are plenty of reasons why he should be dead...

The media reports all aspects of the case, but none of them mention the fact that Huguel Ta is the mayor.

It was late at night and Huguel was sitting in front of a small fire that was lit on top of a pile of stones that burned intensely. Huguel looked to the right where a group of children and teenagers were watching him; they looked happy. of them, except for the boy in the back corner who was staring at Huguel with wide eyes.

Huguel looks at him and asks what you're looking at.

He did not say anything

Huguel stands up looking at the boy, and then reaches out to touch the boy and the boy jumps up screaming in fear and runs into the darkness.

You must be kidding me, Huguel said to himself and started walking through the forest following the boy.

Huguel follows the boy through the forest until he finds him standing in front of a huge rock and crying.

Huguel approaches him slowly

Huguel kneels in front of the boy.

Huguel said trust me I won't hurt you, he held her hand and touched her hair gently, he looked at his friend and smiled at him

Huguel says please don't cry,Huguel smiles again.The boy looks at the ground still crying softly.Huguel looks around and sees the children playing in the distance.Huguel stands up and says You should play with the other children,Huguel said smiling again "please don't be sad anymore"Huguel said and hugged the boy.

Huguel says I already know why you're crying, you have nowhere to go. You can stay with me so you can have someone you can trust besides your mom and dad. Huguel said looking at the boy with an encouraging smile.

The boy waves hesitantly and walks towards the other children.

Huguel sits back down and starts drawing on the floor with a stick in front of him when he feels someone sitting next to him.

Huguel looks over his shoulder and sees the girl who ran off with the boy earlier, Huguel smiles and continues drawing.

Huguel stops drawing after a while and looks at the girl "what's your name?"

She smiles shyly "Nancy"

Huguel smiles "how old are you Nancy?" Huguel asked smiling.

"Eleven" Nancy replied

Huguel said Nancy you are a beautiful child why did you run away from those boys he says looking at Nancy Nancy says why are you my hero who protect us from bad men Huguel laughs and says I'm not a hero I am just the mayor who is much more powerful than you think

Huguel laughs and Nancy laughs

Huguel gets up and says goodbye to Nancy and takes the car and goes back to his slum and gets food and drink for him and Elenice so they can live a little.

Elenice was walking home when she hears screams. She runs as fast as she can and finds a group of cops surrounding a young girl, the cops were holding the crowd with their guns and Elenice couldn't see much behind the police, Elenice thinks of ways to help her best friend, she thought ' maybe I could scare them?', when Elenice started to run towards the crowd of people she saw the cops look at her. They pointed at her and told her to shut up or else she'd be next!. Elenice kept running and ran into someone, she grabbed the person tightly and put her hands around their neck making people scream.

The girl is struggling as the policeman tightens his grip. She looks at Elenice and says get away from me! Get Away!!

Huguel pointed and pointed a gun up and shot high

everyone stops and looks at Huguel in fear

A policeman screams and runs towards the police cars, they jump in one of the cars and drive away leaving Huguel, Elenice and all the other citizens there.

Huguel angrily glares at the citizens and says that he is responsible for this damn mess.

Huguel said that thank God the city of Miami has never seen a crime like this. We have to find out who took the mayor and his henchman, we have to kill them all and show that they are evil. Huguel looks at the woman and says what her name is.

The woman trembled and said she doesn't know

Huguel said I'll ask again I said What's your name?

The woman stutters and says her name is Michelle.Michelle says please help her...she is pregnant

Huguel nodded and walked away and Michelle fell to the floor crying.

the police who were in the favela ordered the head of the department and said sir we ran away from the incident because we saw Huguel point one out, so we ran away in fear of him and now they will probably attack us and kill us all.

A woman comes running and says sir we think it's Huguel

a guy screams

Official says to call the president immediately

Michelle says who are you and what

Huguel grabbing Michelle by the neck is holding his breath and says in Michelle's ear Don't make this harder than it needs to be

Huguel lifts Michelle up and places her next to the man who was holding onto Huguel, Huguel reaches out to the man and apologizes for breaking his ribs before punching him and sending him back to the wall.

The officer says you're lucky you didn't kill that man. Huguel says I know, and lets go of Michelle and grabs the man.

Hugel throws him back in the hallway and he falls to the floor groaning in pain. Huguel then turns to Michelle and grabs her by the neck and says let's go to my house for both of you. Huguel takes Michelle inside his house and throws her on the floor on the couch, she looks scared, cries for her life and screams for someone to come and save her.

Huguel kicks Michelle in the face causing blood to spurt from her nose and mouth. Michelle's face is bleeding profusely, the sight of the blood disgusts Hugo. Huguel comes over and says she's going to die because of her, you stupid little bitch...

Michelle gasps and looks at Hugo with tears streaming down her face.

Huguel takes Michelle's hair and throws her on the kitchen floor and goes back to the living room to look at the unconscious man, he looks at Michelle who had stopped moaning and was now crying loudly, Huguel walks over to her and kicks her again and again. new in her ribs and stomach making her scream in agony

Huguel turns Michelle's body onto its back and kneels on top of Michelle and starts punching Michelle in the face nonstop. Michelle tries to hold her face in her hands, but fails miserably.

Hguel to keep punching Michelle in the face is screaming loud enough to cover whatever noise she would be making if she wasn't having a fit and yelling "I SAID SLEEP YOU LITTLE BITCH". is exhausted but too strong to stop, after a few minutes Michelle stops moving. Exhausted Huguel falls beside Michelle Huguel looks at Michelle and realizes she is dead with her eyes open and blood running from her mouth.

Huguel starts to cry.

As the sun starts to rise, Elenice slowly wakes up feeling weak and dizzy, she realizes she was in Huguel's basement. She opens her eyes to see Huguel sleeping soundly in front of her. Huguel is snoring loudly as Elenice glares at him.

Huguel wakes up to see Elenice in front of him, Huguel looks at her with no expression on his face. He slowly gets up and walks past Elenice into the kitchen, he sits down in a chair. Elenice sits and watches Huguel get some cereal from the cupboard then walk to the door, Elenice runs after him but Huguel keeps walking ignoring her

,she follows him and tries to stop him,Huguel stops and turns around

"Please don't leave me here, I don't want to be alone, I'll try to survive alone," Elenice begs trying to get closer to Huguel.

Hguel says come here Huguel pulls Elenice close to him by the waist wrapping his arms around her, he kisses her forehead softly and whispers, you won't be alone I promise, Elenice hugs Huguel back with all her tears streaming down her face, Huguel her hugs you tighter and strokes your hair gently.

Huguel walks away slowly, Elenice looks at him confused.
