HP: The wholesome life

This is a whole some, slice of life, kind of fanfic. It's more about fun and Funny situations then fighting and killing. It's not about Harry and voldemort. It's about how you would live your life, if you were in HP, instead of planning and being a paranoid mess. But rather enjoying your second life, while growing, the mc will be powerful but not like something overpowered. __________________________________________ If you want to read ahead and support me Patreon.com/Rakasa on break till the end of April, I'm very busy with my College entrance exam prep.

Chapter - 12 Annie has Connections

The group found Percy in the hand me down shop full of retired wands, dented copper balances, and old Cauldrons.

He was reading a thick book.

"Dad, what happend to you?" Percy asked in panic.

He was so absorbed in reading just now that he didn't notice what was going on outside.

Fred was the first to say, "We went to rob Gringotts."

George continued: "Dad had a fight with the fire dragon guarding the private vault, and was almost killed by that Ukrainian iron belly."

"Don't listen to them!" Mrs. Weasley glared at the brothers and said gently, " Percy dear, have you selected your textbooks?"

"Yeah." Percy nodded, putting down the book in his hand reluctantly, and walked towards the salesperson.

William noticed that the book he was reading was called How to Be a Prefect.

On the bookshelf, there were a row of books, such as: "How a Prefect Gains Power", "How to Become the President of the Student Union", "How to Enter the Ministry of Magic", "How to Become the Minister of Magic"...

On the cover, it was written in large glittering letters: Do you want to succeed? Want to have power? Come on then! I will teach you how to reach the peak of life and marry a virgin rich beauty.

Recommended by the new Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge.

There was also a row of small print below, with the names of many important officials of the Ministry of Magic, such as Ludo Bagman, Dolores Umbridge...

These books were autobiography of wizards and their success stories, telling young wizards how to be like them.

The most important thing is that these were quite pricey tagged with 30 Galleons each. You know, a copy of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is only two Galleons.

William has reasons to suspect that some people in the Ministry of Magic are using it for money laundering.

Watching William staring at the books on the bookshelf, Fred whispered, "Percy has ambitions. He has it all planned out. How he will be a prefect next year."

George winked and said, "Then the head boy"

"Finally, the Minister of Magic."

George covered his head and said with an extremely exaggerated expression: "Merlin's beard! What should I do, our family is going to have a Minister of Magic."

Charlie flicked the twins on the head and said, "stop the dramatics if Percy hears you, he will again become angry and complain to mother, then all of us will be unhappy.

You guys need to practice your quidditch this summer. You will be starting your second year. This is my last year at school. We must win.

We lost to the Slytherin last year, you know, I didn't dare to speak to Professor McGonagall alone during that period before the holidays. "

Charlie is the Quidditch captain of the Gryffindors. At a very young age, he showed his talent in Quidditch and was selected by Professor McGonagall in the team.

Cedric secretly told William that after Charlie graduates, he is likely to enter the Scottish Quidditch national team.

It seems that Cedric also likes Quidditch very much.

After everyone bought the things together, they walked towards the Leaky Cauldron.

On the road, Fred took Cedric's hand and asked him for his homework.

Cedric showed a wary look and asked, "Your homework should have been done long ago, right?"

"Hey, brother, completion and accuracy are two different things." Fred explained, "You don't even know how much your answer can sell for, Lee willing to pay ten sickle's."

Cedric was amazed with that, as he sold a repair tool with all his flattery, and only got ten sickles in commission.

But he still politely declined.

This made the twins a bit disappointed, but it didn't mattered much, they still have the Ravenclaw's even if they were sold at a lower price in school.

Everyone returned to the Leaky Cauldron, the Weasleys would be using the bar's fireplace and Floo to their Burrow.

Cedric will also follow them, because the two families lived nearby.

When parting, Cedric invited william in his home for the next meeting . Fred and the others also invited William to play in the Burrow.

Mr. Weasley originally wanted to ask questions about Roy's car, but as soon as he saw Mrs. Weasley's face, he immediately dismissed the idea.

As the floo powder burned, everyone gradually disappeared into the fireplace.

Hagrid didn't leave. He was going to stay at the Leaky Cauldron for a while until he had completed the job of recruiting new students assigned to him.

William didn't see the three-headed dog in the end. The Greek increased the price at the last second , which made Hagrid extremely angry.

But looking at him now, it looks like no matter how much, Hagrid will have the three headed dog.

This is just what Hagrid is an animal enthusiasts borderline yandere.

Roy's face was flushed red, the wine in the magical world was mixed with a lot of potions, which were a bit too much for a muggle, and the taste was more delicious than that of Muggles afterall they were fermented with magic.

With Tom being a good bartender and salesman Roy bought a lot of alcohol for home.

Along the way, they also bought a grey forest owl.

This owl had a black-brown body, brown-white outer wing coverts, prominent brown-white spots on its wings, fine chest stripes, and beetle-like spots, exuding an aura of sheer heroism.

William wasn't going to take it to Hogwarts.

The admission letter clearly states that a wizard can only bring one pet.

William is going to take Boba to the school, and he has no intention of taking care of two predators for this school year.

What's more, according to Hagrid, there are a lot of owls in the school that can be used for delivery and are free for such use, such as Milia, who likes to pretend to be sick and steal small dried fish.

Actually, William still felt it was inconvenient.

Like with all the magic in the world and they still haven't founded a way for instant communication, for crying out loud they have teleportation is making a mobile really so difficult.

The owl will be kept at home for William's parents to contact him.

However, Annie was already ready to use the owl.

The little girl started writing letters to Dumbledore that night, asking about admissions.

She also named this grey forest owl as Dragon, cause of the story mother read to her yesterday about dragons and Princess.

Boba doesn't like Dragon, or rather, it hates all owls, and always tries to catch and eat them.

This made Dragon extremely uneasy. He could always inadvertently see the orange cat squatting in the corner and staring at it with his legs crouching.

As William is about to enter the wizarding world, He is frantically studying the course books and other miscellaneous things.

Magic is an extremely sophisticated and complete system. It has a complete set of operating methods, which is completely different from the discipline that William was familiar with in his previous life.

Standard spoken language, marked actions, as long as you have magic power, you can trigger the effect of the spell with the magic wand.

Newton must be rolling in his coffin after knowing his laws were not applicable for the wizards.

In just one month, William learned a lot of spells and also practiced alot.

( young wizards can cast spells before they enter school, Hermione, boasted in the train about how she tried several spells at home).

(It is forbidden to cast spells at home after you have been to one year in Hogwarts, wierd but that's how it is. )

He practiced a lot, using each spell till he felt it was right perfecting it, till he moved to another, the way he was practicing was maddening. The kind of madness with High schoolers study last before the exam, he had that proficiency.

He wasn't worried about him burning out, after all it's magic, only an Idiot will be bored with magic, and he was seeing results, every spell he casted he could see the execution, boosting his adrenaline and confidence.

If he encountered something he was unable to understand, he would always write to Cedric.

As the genius, Cedric was the best wizard in his year, and could answer most of William's questions.

However, Cedric has graduated the first year, and there are many things that he didn't know.

At such times, William would turn to Dumbledore for help.

This sounds like crazy. As a headmaster, Dumbledore must be so busy that he has no time to pay attention to a little wizard who has not yet entered the school.

But this impossibility happened.

This is thanks to little Annie. Every time she writes to Dumbledore, the old man will reply quickly.

As a result, William would often attach a blank piece of paper to the back of Annie's letters and write down his questions.

When Dumbledore replied to Annie's letter, he would also give his opinion along the way on William's question.

Finally, August 31st arrived,

William will set foot on the Hogwarts train tomorrow.

At night, he who never had a dream, saw another dream.

This time, he didn't dream about the lottery, but Diagon Alley, Ollivander, Cedric, the twins, and Draco.

At the end of the dream, William holds Hagrid's three-headed dog.

(Of his imagination)
