Dark clouds loomed over the city, threatening destruction.

"It's an incredible power!" Grindelwald said, his gaze vacant.

As the world's top wizard, Grindelwald wasn't fooled by appearances.

The seemingly silent power engulfed all of New York, but due to its dispersed nature, it failed to wreak havoc on the city.

With such a widespread, it wouldn't even be able to topple a bicycle, let alone destroy New York.

Does Aurelius know?

Of course, he does. No one understands Obscurus better than him.

The power of Obscurus is more potent than Grindelwald ever imagined.

Aurelius didn't fully unleash his power. The black mist he released may have appeared oppressive, but it was merely a fraction of his true strength.

What is he planning?

It's simple - he wants to draw the snake out of its hole.

Originally, Aurelius believed that if Grindelwald couldn't find the Obscurus, he would leave. Grindelwald's primary battleground was Europe, and he couldn't afford to neglect it for the sake of an Obscurus.

All Aurelius had to do was hide and wait for Grindelwald to depart.

During that time, he could gather his strength and expand his territory until the American continent became his own.

Grindelwald held Europe, Dumbledore had friends all over the world, and the American continent would be in Aurelius's hands.

Three parts of the world, perfectly balanced.

This was the ideal scenario for Aurelius. Despite being younger than Grindelwald and Dumbledore, he possessed far greater potential.

With his inherited super magical talent and the knowledge passed down from the War College, he surpassed both Grindelwald and Dumbledore.

As long as the global situation remained deadlocked, he could bide his time.

However, when Grindelwald expressed his intention to read the memories of all the children in the orphanage, Aurelius realized that Grindelwald was determined to possess the Obscurus and him.

Aurelius knew that Grindelwald had a deep fear of using Legilimency. He hadn't employed it in any of his previous plans. Was it because he didn't know how? That was nonsense. He simply chose not to. Just like Dumbledore's reluctance to use dark magic, everyone knew he was a master in it.

Allowing Grindelwald, who disliked using Legilimency, to invade the minds of hundreds of Muggle children showcased his absolute arrogance. He looked down upon everyone except Dumbledore. Grindelwald believed that once he eliminated Dumbledore, no one in the world could stand in his way.

With this almost obsessive mindset, did Grindelwald even care about Europe?

No army attacks, no assaults on cities, no battles for land. Grindelwald, who has ambitions for the world, wouldn't concern himself with the gains or losses of one city or place. Aurelius does not doubt that if given the opportunity, Grindelwald would exchange all the power in Europe for the absolute allegiance of 'Credence' and 'The Obscurial One'.

Given these circumstances, it's impossible to expect Grindelwald to willingly give up and leave.

"If I can't come back, take care of my creatures. Everything you need to know is in here," he said, handing the diary to Tina without meeting her eyes.

"What?" Tina asked, confused.

Newt looked at the Obscurus, then back at Tina. "I can't let them kill that Obscurus, it's still a child."

Their eyes met, and silence spoke louder than words in that moment.

In just a few days, they seemed to have developed some unexpected feelings.

Jacob looked at Newt, then at Tina, and playfully rolled his eyes.

Meanwhile, Queenie had already placed her hands on her heart, wearing a concerned expression.

"Ahem—" Newt interrupted the atmosphere. He turned around and jumped off the roof, apparating!

"Newt!" Tina called out, refusing to back down. She turned around and handed the box to Queenie. "You heard him too – take care of these creatures!"

After saying that, she also apparated.

Queenie looked at the box in her hand, intending to pass it to Jacob, but he avoided it...

"What a commotion," Newt thought to himself as he silently observed the group of people as if they were about to go their separate ways. Obscurus didn't launch any attack; he was just bluffing. At most, the terrifying atmosphere and dark energy of Obscurus bring out people's dark side emotions.

The Obscurus is a natural source of chaos.

"It's such an old tradition," Aurelius said, hanging one foot outside the wall and leaning on the steel pipe behind him. He stroked the soft, long hair of the invisible beast with his hands. It wasn't even as smooth as Rejoice's!

"The world is truly in decline," Aurelius shook his head. Since the bloody incident in the Greenwood District a few years ago, almost all elite African Americans were wiped out, and the path for African Americans to peacefully fight for their rights was destroyed.
