Harry pov.

Harry was woken up by the portrait yelling at him. Slytherin's portrait has appeared in his room via one of many paintings hanging on the walls.

Harry rubbed his eyes as the world slowly came into view. "What is in the bloody hell happened that you had to wake me in the middle of the night?"

"What hasn't happened! Quirrell is going after the stone and somehow your brother and his friends had the great idea to go after him. And Dumbledore somehow had to pick this unfortunate night to stay out of the castle." The portrait yelled back.

What! How did this happen? Harry repeatedly warned Charlie not to get involved with the stone and let the professors deal with this matter.

"Just a while ago I saw that Granger girl put a full-body binding spell on that Longbottom boy because he wanted to stop them." The portrait continued.

Harry should have known that his brother won't listen, there is no lack of stubbornness in the potter gene pool. It's like somehow history is repeating itself just with some small but significant changes.

Harry nodded and quickly changed into his leather armour and cloak. He first puts on the soft inner armour made of basilisk skin and then puts on the black outer armour made of dragon scales lined with layers of dragonhide on top. The cloak he wore is also black and as soon as he puts it on Harry's face is completely hidden in darkness.

Putting all three things together, this might be the most spell resistant armour ever created. While this might seem excessive but Harry knows better than to underestimate Voldemort even if he is just in his spirit form.

That is also why instead of his holly wand Harry took out the elder wand to deal with the pesky Dark Lord problem. Even after 11 years of being in this new timeline, Harry has still not returned to his prime or peak state, but this is not because he lacked in training or efforts but just that his body is simply too young.

If a fully grown witch or wizard has complete near 100% access to their magic then a magical child before turning seven has only 3-5%. After the child completes the first magical maturity this jumps to 70% but for the last 30%, they have to wait for the second magical maturity which starts after they turn 13 years old and can last until they turn 17.

But with the elder wand, Harry can temporarily access his full power for a short while but it also causes him to exhaust his magic rather quickly. So currently Harry is powerful enough on his own that he can easily deal with anything or any situation the magical world can throw at him except Dumbledore or Voldemort at their full strength.

With the aid of the elder wand in a one of one duel Harry can put up a decent fight for a short while against Dumbledore or Voldemort, but ultimately he will still lose against these two monsters. The last 30% of his magic that is still locked away makes a huge difference when it comes to facing off against these old monsters.

So Harry is taking every precaution even when facing a very weakened version of Voldemort. Harry casts a disillusionment charm before rushing towards the third floor.

Before he knew it Harry stood in front of the entrance of the forbidden corridor on the third floor. The door opened for him with just a basic unlocking spell and Harry came face to face with Fluffy, the large three-headed dog guarding the passage.

Even under the disillusionment charm Fluffy still picked up on Harry's presence and started to wake up but Harry pointed his wand at the dog and casts a sleeping spell. The spell which normally should have been easily repelled by the spell resistant hide of the dog went right through it causing Fluffy to once again go to sleep.

Harry moves forward as the sleeping dog is moved showing the trap door underneath, the door opens itself and Harry jumps in.

Harry keeps falling for a while before he finally sees that plants blocking his way, a giant ball of light springs forth from his wand and scaring the plant and making way for him.

After getting past the plant Harry finds himself in the room with the flying keys, he raises his hand and the anti-summoning charm on the key breaks under his powerful magic and the key comes flying in his hand.

With the key, he opens the door and enters the chamber with the giant chess set. Here Ron is lying on the floor knocked out after his sacrifice but the chest set has reset itself for a new game. But Harry doesn't have time for this so he points his wand at the opposing king and the chess piece explodes into countless pieces.

Harry easily bypasses all the remaining tests before reaching the potion test, these tests were never really the traps, this was just the Headmaster's way of testing the chosen one.

The real trap is the castle itself with Dumbledore at its helm, and the only real protection for the stone is the mirror and nothing else.

When Harry reached the potions test Charlie just drank the remaining right potion but Harry quickly pointed his wand at Charlie and Hermione casting a sleeping spell on both of them. Both of them instantly fell asleep before gently falling to the ground.

Harry waved his wand and fire in the room completely disappeared. With that, Harry made his way towards the mirror room.

Just like last time Harry found Quirrell standing right in front of the mirror trying to extract the stone.

"Just give up. It won't work no matter what you do. You are not getting that stone." Harry said casually as he walked towards them.
