19: the Edge

Hime sigh in frustration as she look at the glass cups that Mic have set up for her. She's been training all day. She was frustrated. Frustrated because of Jasper. After that meeting with the club. They all wanted Jasper to join. Hime didn't want him to join. She didn't feel comfortable with him around. But she couldn't tell that to her club members. She knew they need new members. If they turn him down, it might grew suspicious. But that wasn't even the worst parr. The day after the meeting. She went straight to 2-B dorm to talk to Jasper about the " poison" incident. She even comfort him about the weird vision she had. He pretend not know anything. But she suspect him that he knows more then she thought. It anger her. She needs to know what is going on with her and these unknown power that's happening to her. But he won't tell her anything. It frustrates her even more. It grew worse. Later today , they were heading to lunch. The students surround her. Every time they bump into her she see a glimpse of their life. Some were irritating, others was disturbing. She almost have her seizure in there again. She had to leave the lunch room ate in the stairway . She couldn't stand it anymore. There were times when she touched someone's hand she can feel their emotions. She couldn't go near them without having gloves on which they help her. She even start to wear sleeves to block any skin contact. She suspects that's skin on skin contact is what triggers the quirk.

"Siefuku!" Mic call out to her. Hime look up to see him frown. "I get your tired kiddo but you gotta try this agin. At least make them crack. Come on!" He try to encourage her but it didn't seem to work well. Hime sigh as she look at the glass cups again. She knew she couldn't go any more 4,000 H. The amount of strength in her own throat hurts her. She took a breath and try but she was at her limit now. She cough up blood once she active her quirk.

"Aaah! Are you okay? Hey, don't push yourself now. You can take a break!"

Hime groan in frustration. She couldn't do it. She did it last time but that cause her to have a siezer and loss of blood. She was ready to head out but she saw Jasper in the door way looking at her. He soon left once the bell rang.

Hime rush out of the training room to catch up with Jasper. She can see him looking at her with a grin. But he kept getting away from her. She stop herself before going any further. She knows it's his way of getting her to be alone. She can feel her fur sticking up. She calm herself down a bit but went after him.

"Jasper!"

Jasper smiles as he keeps walking away from her as he turns a corner.

Hime rush to the corner to catch up with him. "Jasper! Wait!" He suddenly comes to a stop. His back turned to her.Hime stop herself from bumping into him. She glare at him a little. "Okay. Talk."

"About?"

Hime cross her arms. "You know about these powers!" Hime hold her cover glove hands.

"Oh? Do I now?" He turns to face her slowly and cocks his head a bit.

Hime glare at him, "Don't pretend like you don't know!" She sneer at him. She let out a small growl at him.

Mei smiles as she holds the lunchbox up, Hehe, I wonder what yummy food did lab partner pack for me this time. Maybe I should ask two bento boxes next time. Mei can hear someone arguing. She took a peak to see Hime yelling at Jasper.

"Be a little more specific?" Jasper tease her. "You might want to jog my memory."

Hime glare at him, she stomp her foot hard on the ground, "You know exactly what I'm talking about! You knew about my visions! You knew I would see something once you touch me! Now! I can't stop it!" Hime sound a little panic. She lower her head down as she wrap her arms around her. "Once people touch me or I bump into them. I see things from their eyes. I can't stop it! It won't stop!"

Jasper yawn as he look at her. "Well it seems like you have it "cover." He laughs a little. He was ready to walk away but Hime stop him by grabbing his risk.

"You were there!" Hime look at him with slight scared eyes. He didn't turn to look at her but he did stop walking.

"You have to be a little more specific." He told her.

"A-a-Andrea told me before that she moved out here while I attend school. But something felt off. It always felt off when I have certain memories coming back to me. I ask her about Grandfather. But she told me not to worry that he's back at London. But I remember about a fire. I-I can hear people screaming and a lot of smoke around. But I knew Grandfather is..."

"Dead!" Jasper look at her. He snatch his risk back from her, "Wong die, because of you." He told her harshly as he walk away from her.

Hime is a daze as she look down at her blank sketch book. The words haunt her of what Jasper said. Her grandfather is dead. She knew. She always knew but never spoke of it to Andrea. Memories were coming back but they were unclear to her. She could never make most of it. Her headache was slowly coming back. This only happens when she try to remember. She sigh but felt someone poking her cheeks. She look over to her side to see Rei look at her.

"Estas bien?" He ask her.

Hime look at him blankly. She sigh and tap her pencil. They were all in the library thinking of what the project would be for the contest. But noting seem right. Ideas were thrown in as reference but they don't seem "It". Hime look over at Mei who sit far away from her. It was the first because Mei have always sit with her and talk about projects with her but this time she felt distance.

"Mei, any ideas?" Hime ask her.

"Honestly, I got none."

Everyone look at her with a sudden gasp. "Mei running out of ideas." Shinso look at her shock.

"Someone call the medic!" Rie joke.

They all look at each other and start to laugh a bit. They still look at their sheets and sigh.

"How many days do we have?" Rie ask them.

Adam: "1 Month, 4 days, and 6 hours left."

"Welp, I do't know why you guys want me here for?" Shinso told them.

"Emotional support." Hime told him.

"Ha! Yeah right, you force me to come here."

"Ha! Says the one who was going to used blackmail."

"That's it!" Yuie yelled. But she blush right away and sat back down with her cheeks red. "S-sorry." She pick up her glasses shyly.

"hmm, Emotional support?." Rei thought about it. "What about a new device that can help us for the sick?"

"That can be useful." Mei thought but still not sure. "But, doctors and researchers are always making something new. What can be done?"

"U-um...my bad." Yuie says as she stutter a little bit as Adam pats her head.

"no, please go on. What were you going to say?" Rie look at her.

"Oh...I-u-um..." Yuie started as she readjust her glasses once more.

Rei sigh in a little disappointment. "Anyone else with a bright plan?"

"Just give her some time to talk." Hime told him. She look at Yuie and nod her head, "Just take deep breaths love."

She takes in a deep breath and breathes a bit, "Um...what about something that deals with m-medical..o-or medicine?..." she says nervously as Adam floats by her and thinks.

"We were just saying that." Rei sound a little rude towards her. Hime elbow him with a glare.

"N-no! I mean-" Adam by her and begins to make signs. "Oh? Y-you gave an idea too Adam?" He pointed to himself and her.

Adam: ⚛️��🤖🤕!

Hime look at him surprise, "Brilliant!" She sound excited, "But how should they be power by? What material should we used? Perhaps we can start off by designing it."

Everyone look at them and try to understand what they were talking about.

"Seifuku!" Shinso sigh out of announced. "We don't understand emojis. Or that beep sound he makes."

"O-oh! He's basically is saying t-that we should try making tiny micro-bots, r-really small bots, that could be use to for complex s-surgeries; like open heart surgery while also healing them." Yuie stutters a bit as Adam smiles.

Adam: 😁👍

"micro bots!" Rie spoke out loud. "Could it work?"

"That's brilliant!" Mei sound excited. She saw Hime draw the bots already. "We need to calculate the size and gather materials that we need. Hime, how's the plan going?"

"I was thinking of this?" Hime show them a round bot that looks similar to Adam but yet slightly different. The were flat oval shaped.

"If these bots are supposed to go in the bloodstream. Then we need them to be suitable enough to enter the bloodstream with out any problems. Oh! When did you two start getting along?" Hime look at Adam and Yuie by surprised.

"O-oh! Um..." Yuie stutters again as Adam pats her head.

Adam: 🫂��🤛😎 "friends!"

"That's good." Hime hide her smile but look at the design. "What do you guys think?"

"I-I like it!" Yuie says with a soft smile as Adam gives it a thumbs up.

Adam: 😃👍

"making small robots and placing them inside a human body! Count me in!" Mei sound happy.

"Hmmmm 🤔, if we used the recycle material it would cost us less. Bueno! I'm in!"

Everyone look at Shinso who they were waiting for him to say something.

"What?"

"Well?" Mei look at him.

"I don't care! You guys can do what you want to do!" He told them.

"Your a part of this club too. You have the right to vote." Hime told him.

Adam floats by him and pokes him in order for him to vote on something.

"would you stop doing that!?" Shinso grunt.

"He's going to keep doing it till you vote!" Hime smirk.

Adam continues to poke him.

Adam: 😁👉

"why are you like this?" Shinso look at Adam.

Adam: "Friends" ✌️😁

"he's going to keep doing it!"

"You enjoy this, don't you?"

"Yes! Very much." Hime smirk.

Shinso finally sigh, "Alright! Alright. Just stop annoying me."

".... Like he's ever going to stop!" Adam: 😁👉 *continues to poke*...Shinso groan at this. But everyone laugh a little. Once club was over, Mei waited outside a bit Hime, she couldn't help but be curious as to what was going on between her and Jasper. She twiddle her thumbs a bit as she waits for her.Hime have more stack of books then usual. Returning the ones she already have didn't help her find the answers she was looking for. All of her club mates have already left. Once she step outside of the library she saw Mei waiting for.

"Mei! Hey!" Hime sound a little awkward.

"O-oh! Hi Hime!" She waves a little.

"is everything ok?"

"Um...well it's just...there's something I wanted to ask you but you don't have to answer it if you don't want to."

"eh? Oh no, did you not like your luch today? I could have went easy on the spice. Sorry."

"What?! No! Not that, the lunch was very delicious! It's something else...." Mei asked as she looks both ways to make sure no one else was listening.

Hime look at her confused but then suddenly blush from embarrassment. "I think I understand what your going to say."

"Really? You won't get mad?" Mei tilts her head a bit.

"why would I be mad? I just, I want you to know. Your the first friend I have ever made and I don't want our relationship to change that. Mei, your really pretty and I'm flattered." Hime hide her smile but she blush. "But, your not really my type. Although you do have a nice body I could go for but I don't think it would work out." Hime try to smile at her of reassurance. "I like for us to be friends."

Mei looked her with a confused and shock look, what in the world? "Um...Hime..what are talking about?" She tilts her head again.

Hime look at her and tilted her head sideways. Now she look more confused, "wait, is this not a confession?"

"What?! No! I just wanted to know what was going on between you and that Jasper guy?"

Hime widen her eyes scared. She drop her books in shock. She finally snap out of it and pick up her books about quirk manifestation. "W-what are you talking about?" Hime play dumb.

Mei sighs as she helps Hime pick up her books, "I'm not dumb Hime, I happen to over hear you and him talking by the lockers...it was something about your quirk wasn't it?"

Hime froze when she heard Mei talk. She didn't say anything to her. She stood quite and place the books in stack. "I think you misunderstood."

Once again, Mei sighs as she stacks the books as well, "Hime. If there's something going on or bothering, you know you can talk to me about it if you like. Lately, you've been a little...off. And I wonder if it's him...plus...you had mentioned about your quirk...is something wrong?..." she asks her softly.

Hime stare at the ground. She didn't want to look at Mei. She look are her cover hand. She didn't want to bring her to her problems. This was her's to solve. But maybe asking for help wouldn't be so bad.

Freak!

Hime gasp a little as she can hear the other children from her past calling her names. She can see them pointing at her and laughing. Calling her a monster and a freak was just to painful. She didn't want anyone to make her feel like she was any different from them. She grab her books and gets up.

"I'm fine." Hime told her coldly.

"Hime are you okay? Is something wrong?" Mei asks quietly as she noticed the changes in her behavior.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" Hime yelled at her. She clench on her books nervously. She took deep breaths but she didn't look at Mei. "Sorry I just...." She sigh, "I'll give you your lunch tomorrow. Bye."

Mei called after but watches as she leaves. She couldn't help but felt saddened by this, was she being a bit too persistent? Was she asking too much? Maybe...it's best she didn't ask her from the beginning and kept it to herself.

Jasper wraps around Mei's shoulder. "That's rude of her. Even after you show her a bit of kindness."

"Eeek! Excuse me! But where in the world did you come from?!" Mei jumps back and almost out of her skin.

Jasper leans over to her ear and whispered. "Yelled again and I'll smash your face to the wall."

Mei's eyes narrowed at this, "Your Jasper-aren't you." She says without fear.

He smile at her creepily. Even his eyes seem soulless to her. He show off his sharp teeth as he smiles. "If you want to know more about Schon. I can tell you all about it."

Mei folds her arms and looked at him directly in the eyes, "And let me guess, there's a catch isn't there."

Jasper grin at her, "I can see why your the smartest person in your own class. You even have agency asking for you." He look at her. Mei glare at him. She didn't have a good vibe from him. But she needed to know what's going on with Hime. Perhaps she can help her. Jason hold out his hand. Mei look at him she hesitated to grab it but she heard Rei call out to her.

"Ah, Hatsume. There you are. I needed to talk to you."

Jasper glare at him a little. Rei look back at him with a glare.

"I'm sorry did I interrupt something?" Rie look at him with confused look. Jasper stood quite. He glare a little then change it to a nervous look with a crooked smile.

"I was just ask Hatsume if everyone agree to let me in. I haven't heard back anything."

"Oh! Well, how about you tomorrow. I sure everyone will welcome you."

"Right. Welp, see you later Hatsume."

Rei look at him with a serious dead look. Mei ask him what he wanted but he didn't say anything. Instead he watch him walk away.

In the 2-A dorms, everyone was setting up the table eat. The other students were in the living room hanging out. Hime walk in to the dorm house only to walk past Shinso and Eri who were playing with Hel. The small kitten have lost interest with the toy. She meow happily at Hime to see her home.

"Hey!" Shinso look at her. He saw the amount of books that she was carrying, "Need help?"

"No, I um got it."

The two of them look away from each other. Shinso have kept his distance away from Hime because of yesterday. Hime didn't say anything to him either. Eri stumble upon her words, "Um...I...um, W-welcome home!" She look at Hime's cold golden eyes. She still felt scared around her. Hime look at her then turn away.

"Thank you!" She told her, trying not to show off her smile. Eri look surprise, she look at Shinso with a smile.

"I did it!" She sound happy. Shinso pat her head proudly.

"Fenrir! No, bad dog!" Iida yelled at him. Hime look over at Iida with a puzzle look. Fenrir was laying on the couch again. Iida try pushing him off but Fenrir play along with him, acting as if he'll bite him. "Ah Seifuku! Can you Perhaps have your dog off this couch!"

"I don't understand why you're yelling at him when you know he's death!" Hime remind him. Iida blush a little bit and push his glasses back up.

"Can you just have him off this couch." He ask her. Hime pat on Fenrir's back. He look up to see his owner. He ignore her and got himself comfortable. Hime groan at him. She drag her dog by his waist. He let himself drop. He seem to enjoy seeing Hime getting frustrated. He can't hear her but he can see the annoyance in her face.

"You should really teach your dog some manners." Iida scold her, "Your dog would be spoil as he is.Your showing the wrong way."

"I'll start teaching him tricks if you could stop feeding him dry dog food." Hime growl a little. She lets go of Fenrir who seem upset not being drag away by his owner. He seem to groan as well and follow her along with Hel. Hime sigh as she stop halfway to the stairs to hear Momo ask her a favor.

"Ah, Siefuku-Chan. Can you please tell everyone to come downstairs. Dinner is almost ready."

Shoto, Izuku, and Katsuki were all in Shoto's room looking through the files that St. Father Jospeh gave them. He wanted them to do one last request and that was to find out the Dragon's lair location. The file have picture's of the missing people and reports of them to where they were last seen. There wasn't much detail of the missing people. No home address, no jobs were enlisted. There wasn't much to go on. Hime knock on the door, "Can I come in?" She ask them politely.

"Come in." Shoto told her. Hime open the door her pets seem to walk in to make themselves comfortable.

"Ah! No! Hel, Fenrir! Sorry Todoroki."

"Its fine." Hel climb to his lap and purr. He pet her gently. "I don't quite mind." Fenrir also seem to walk towards Izuku to receive some head pets.

"What can we do for you Me-me?" Izuku ask her as he pet Fenrir.

"Yaoyorozu said dinner is ready. She wanted all of you to be downstairs." Hime told them. She look over the table out of curiosity to see pictures of a few people that she know. "Mrs. Supplement?" She walk towards the small coffee table. Izuku look confused at first but she look over the pictures of the missing people.

"Do you know her?"

"She's a regular at my cousin's clinic. She would come over to get her check-ups. She have heart problems."

"O-oh! When was the last time you saw her?"

"Um, how many days have I been at school now?"

"A month, long ears."

"Has it been that long? Huh, then a month then. But I had no idea she was missing." Hime told them. Then she saw another picture of a older man who look to be in his mid forty's. "This is Mr.Walker!" Then she another one that she recognized. She's in her mid 20's she look rather beautiful in the picture. "Ms. Ran! Ah! Mr. Galpher, Mr. Dark, Ms.Horns."

"You know all of them?" Izuku ask her. He can see the worried look in her eyes.

"What do you know about them?' Shoto ask her.

"They all live in the same area where I lived. They go to my cousin's clinic. They were all missing?" Hime sound worried and upset.

"You bother to know all of those extras name's?" Bakugo ask her.

"I talk to them frequently when they come to the clinic. I hand them snacks when they wait to be check out. They talk to me about their family. I …" Hime look at the other photos in surprise. The people that are in the missing poster were patients that she knew.

"Me-me what's wrong?" Izuku ask her. Hime start to lay out of all the people that she know to one side. The other she lay out to the other.

"Whoa, whoa, Long ear's what are you doing?"

"Give me a second." Hime told them. She knew these people off the Edge. They all greet her once they see her. She never knew why at first when she first wake up but it was all because they knew Andrea. She made a big impact as a doctor for them. Since half of her patients couldn't afford medication she did her best to get them for them. But half of them were not patients. They were just people that she would know off the street to greet. The boys watch her once she lay out all the picture to different layouts.

"On the left side, they are all patients in my cousin's clinic. The right side, I know them outside of the clinic as neighbors."

"There are thirty-three that are missing and you know them?" Shoto look at her confused.

"I talk to them. Everyday. But I had no idea they were missing. I just assume they left to be with their families or start a new life."

"Why would you assume that?" Bakugo ask her.

"Because they're all homeless. All of their homes have be demolish during hero and villains attacks. Through fights, buildings, cars and furniture get crash in to their buildings. The city promise to fix their homes and businesses but they never did. They were left off in the street. The insurance didn't even cover it. Just enough to cover food expenses for a month. They couldn't even afford medical bills. It's one of the reasons why Andrea made her clinic there.

"There is no way you knew all of their names." Bakugo told her.

"Know!"She corrected him. "And, yes I do. Because unlike you I have manners and I don't scream at people like a lunatic."

"THE HELL DID YOU SAY! I HAVE MANNERS AND I CAN SCREAM WHO EVER I WANT TO."

"See what I mean. It's no wonder why your still single. You'll never get a boyfriend like that."

"I DON'T ROLL LIKE THAT."

"That's not what the fan services say." Hime grin at the reader. " Jokes aside. Why haven't this been on the news? Why haven't anyone look for them?"

"It's like you said. They are homeless. It's possible nobody look for them because of that." Todoroki told her. "Either way, these are innocent lives at stake. So far we have a theory of where they might be. But we just received word that they couldn't find it."

"What place?" Hime ask him. She look determined to know.

"Long ears, we can't really share this type of information to you."

"Huh, why not? I could help. Besides, I know these people more then any of you. They are all important to me."

"Hmmm. I do agree with Hime." Shoto stated as Bakugo looked at him.

"Say what?!"

"It's like she said; she knows them better than us and she's our best lead into finding the missing homeless people."

Hime look at Shoto surprised. She felt a little relief to have someone agree with her.

"I don't know Todoroki." Izuku sound a little worried. "Letting Me-me in on the investigation is too dangerous. Plus,she doesn't have her Hero license."

"I can work in the sidelines. I can be your eyes and ears. I know the streets better then any of you." Hime look at them with her puppy dog eyes. "I'm not asking to fight. I'm asking to help you find them. These people...they.." Hime lower her eyes down. They all have shown her a little kindness to her when she woke up from her coma. They were all good to her. "I can't sit back and watch this all over again."

Shoto looks back at Bakugo and he grunts as he nods, "Okay. You have to answer questions we ask you about them to help find them."

Hime look at Bakugo in surprise. She thought he would argue with her about this. She couldn't help but look at him with a gentle smile. Her ears flop up and down happily.

Bakugo grunts as he grumbles a bit as Shoto looks through the files and photos of the homeless people.

"thank you, Bakugo!" Hime smile at him.

"Don't mention it…." He grumbles as he goes back to looking at the files as well."

"I'm surprised Kaachan. You're actually agreeing with this?" Izuku look at Katsuki to see him lightly blush. He stare at him long to only see him grew angry at him.

"DON'T PUSH YOUR LUCK NERD!" He growls at Midorya angrily.

Hime try not to laugh at them as they seem to get along. Shoto grab her attention by showing her a picture of a young man.

"Do you know him?" Shoto asks her as he holds her up a photo of one of the homeless people.

Hime stare at the picture. She look at him to see how young he look. But she never seen him around the Edge.

"No. I never seen him before in the Edge."

"The 'edge'? What's that?" Shoto asks curiously.

"oh! It's what we called our home. The Edge is basically far off from the uptown. We're more of the "downtown"." Hime try to add a pun. "In other words, it's more of... Um... The gehtoo. If that's how you phrase it."

They just looked at her blankly for a moment as Shoto clears his throat and pulls out another photo, this time it's a female. "This one?"

Hime stare at her for a while. "No. I don't know her." Hime sound a little disappointed.

"Really?" They asked, surprise.

Hime think for a moment till she took out of her phone. "I think I know who might." Hime took pictures of the missing people. she send it to the one person who might know. "Oh and what ever you do don't make any noise."

They looked at each other and back to her, "What for?" Bakugo asks with a raised ticked eyebrow.

Hime's phone start to ring the song Tears don't fall by Bullet for my Valentine. Hime sigh as she took deep breaths. She pick up the phone to place it on speaker.

"HIME MY BABY ARE YOU OKAY!" A British accent of a woman sound worried and motherly.

"Evening Andrea. I need your help."

"Anything ," Andrea start to make annoyed baby noises to her, "my sweet little munchkin!" Hime groan in embarrassment, "The pictures I show you. Do you know those two?"

"That depends. Why do you need to know?"

Hime look at the boys. She place her index finger over her lips.

"I have a friend whose working on a case in the hero department. She needs some help. Mind helping us a bit."

"Oh! Sia Academy is really keeping you girls busy huh?"

Hime look over at the boys to see their shock face. They looked at her surprise but remained silent as they let her continue to talk to the woman she's on the phone with.

"Y-es!" Hime voice squeak. She clear her throat. "Yes. Yes they are."

"And let me get this straight, your not doing anything dangerous are you?"

Hime almost panic when try to catch her phone from falling.

"Ahahahah, of course not. I'm here learning bio-engineering! Love it." Hime voice squeak a little. She try to clear her throat.

"Hime, you know how I feel about hero's! I don't want you getting yourself involved!" Andrea sound demanding.

"I-I'm not. Really! I.. we need help. You know everyone in the city. We need help if you know anything about them. Please."

Andrea sigh over the phone. She look at the picture of the missing people, "the girl, she live somewhere in the uptown of the Edge. She lives in the shelters. I diagnosis her three weeks ago. But I never saw her around. I think her name is Eli Sherman. The boy, I never met him. I can ask Okuta to do a background check for you."

"Okay. Thanks. Tell uncle I said Hi."

"I well. But Hime." Andrea sound stren. "When your done helping your friend. I don't want you to hangout with her anymore."

"Andrea I.."

"Hime!" She raise her voice at her. "promise me that you'll never speak them again. You know how I feel about this."

"I know but..."

"No buts. Having childern train to become hero's is basically saying they're training them to become children soilders. I'm against that." Hime took the speaker off to talk to her privately. "I know fitting in is hard but please. Do this for me." "Okay."

"Thank you honey. Now. I have to go. Goodnight I love you my sweet little baby munchkin wunchikn."

"Oooh! I.. goodnight."

"I said I love you."

"Yeah okay."

"Hime!"

"Oh look at the time. Night"

"HIME SIEFUKU! YOU BETTER TELL ME I LOVE YOU RIGHT NOW YOUNG LADY OR SO HELP ME."

Hime hang up and sigh. "I'm sorry about that." She look at them.

"And who in the hell was that?" Bakugo spatted out irritated as Shoto and Midorya looked at her as well, "is everything okay Shifuku?" Shoto asks curiously as they just heard the conversation before she took it off speaker.

"Y-yeah. I um... You guys weren't supposed to hear any of that."

"You still haven't told her, Me-me?"

"Wait you knew? He knew about this first!" Bakugo sound a little irritated.

"Um,... Y-yeah. The jig is up. I was supposed to be in Sia Academy. But I change to U.A. High instead when registration was still available."

"Are you kidding me?!" Bakugo look at her. "You know how stupid for you do that?!"

"It's not stupid! No one is getting hurt." Hime told him, "plus. It's only a little fib."

Midoryia sigh at this, "I guess I'll come too. I have a feeling you two are going to cause trouble."

"I'll come too." Shoto said. Hime clap her hands together happily.

"Great! We can leave once everyone is asleep. Meet me in the back of the dorms around midnight. But make sure your hidden well. Oh, no colugo okay." She winks at them happily , "You don't want Hound dog to catch us."

Meanwhile, Tomaru Shigaruke, the leader of the league of Villains walk in to the lighthouse to see Sora having a cup of tea alone in the kitchen. She look over at him with a small bow.

"In her lab. But she's been down there for about three hours now. I was going to go down there but she scold me for going down there without permission."

He walk downstairs more, the walls soon lead to a cave mouth. He can see the doctor laying down on the operation table. She have a camera above her, she watched the screen to change the parts from her inside.

"Bullocks!" She yelled angrily. She groan as she grab the wrong wires.

"Need help?" Tomaru ask her. Andrea look at him in a little surprise.

Tomura gave her a hand to grab the blue that she seem to grab. But it was underneath a gear that it was behind it."I need you to cut it. Then replace it with the new one that's one the table."

"Yeah." Tomura cut the wire and replace it with a new one. He can see a pump works like lungs for her. He can see a few gears turning. "When are you going to tell everyone about this?"

She wore a different school uniform. It was her, Andrea and the rest of the league in front of the Lighthouse. It's been 8 months now since Hime lived with Andrea. It'll be a year from now.

"No! I saw her lights on from the balcony. She should be up." Bakugo grunt. They saw a light shine on them.

The boys froze in shock. They can hear a small chuckle once the lights went off. They saw Hime laughing at them. She wore a black and red long sleeve dress. She wore her tights that have spiderwebs around it. She even have a black corset around her dress. She set her hair up to a mohawk, her wavy hair made her hair puff out. She had black and red eyeshadow match along with her red and black lipstick.

"Got you!" She grin at them.

"Me-me, don't scare us like that!" Midoryia puff his cheeks. "You almost gave me a heart attack."

"Aw, I couldn't help it. You guys look vulnerable." Hime tease them.

"Ready?" She place her laptop in her shoulder bag. They watch her head out in the open in front of the security guard. The boys freak out but the robot guard didn't see her.

"What did you do?" Todoroki ask.

"Oh nothing. I just made invisible through the camera. So we can sneak out and sneak in without a problem."

"You can do that?" He ask her.

"Yeah!" Her and Adam start to walk off. "Well are you coming or going?" They follow her of of the school to go the back of the woods that lead to a park.

"Oh don't worry." Hime told them, "They're on a certain time limit. Once we're out of the school zone the defence are back on. So I have to come back and shut it down again."

She work as a doctor, become my teacher for my at home classes, my caretaker, and raising me. I may not remember anything of my past but I remember her. I remember her taking care of me, raising me, teaching me, she's always been there for me when I have no one. " she turn around and look at them. "Now then, walking is going to take forever." She smirk at them. Midoriya scream once they were in the air. He hold on tight by using black whip, even Todoroki. Bakugo seem to groan in embarrassment to have Hime carry him. He seem to be lightest out of the three.

After the crazy ride with Hime the boys try to catch up with their breathe. They can hear her laughing with Adam. They try to fix their hairs sticking up.

"Okay, where to now?" Bakugo grunt to see her smirk.

"Oh, I lied. I have no idea where. I just wanted to sneak out of the dorm."

"WHAT!" Bakugo turn bright red. Hime start to laugh at him.

Hime look at them, " okay fine. Such a kill joy." Hime takes the lead. They follow her once they past an alleyway. It seem forever as they walk through it. The city seem different from where they were standing. The area seem to change once they enter it. They can see buildings crash. Stores seem rundown but look decent enough to shop around.

"This is the uptown area from the Edge." Hime told them.

The area didn't seem too nice but it was nice enough to walk however the people around the city don't seem too friendly. Midoryia walk closer to Hime as he look around.

"Um Me-me. You live around here?"

"I live in the down side area of the Edge. That's where most people used to have their own marketing. It's actually cool. But they're open around the weekends."

"I suppose so. But me and Adam want to go on adventures. We like to be free instead of being lock up. The night seem to be the only thing that we get to be ourselves. No rules, no studies, none of the things we need to worry about. It feels like a small piece of burden lift up our shoulders. Big brother always told me it's okay to leave off a little steam. So I tend to sneak off when I can."

Hime walk up the stairs. Adam cuddles up with Izuku for comfort.

They see a few old man's hanging around looking at them while smoking. They kept close with Hime. They stop in front of a counter that have a glass window. There was a old man who look around mid 50. He was bald with a beard. Chubby and awful hygiene care. He look over at them, grumbling of being interrupted by his T.V. show.

"What do you brats want? " he cough.

"I'm looking for Eli Sherman. Do you know where we can find her?" Hime ask him.

"And if I have why the hell would I tell you." He cough again. Hime went through her bag and hand him a cigarette pack. He look at her then look around the other side of the glass. He grabs it to look at the cash in. It was about 45 dollars in it.

The man cough and grumble at them, "Eli, she's just some whore that needed a place to sleep. Hehe, like all these rest of the lowlifes here. I start charging her to pay rent. The bitch just got up and left. I haven't seen in a while."

She couldn't see but there was someone behind the man and beat him up from behind. They mange to help Eli to escape. Hime move her hand away and took the money back. She glare at the man. He look angry to see that Hime wasn't going to give them money.

"Give me that money you Bit…AAAAAAH!"

Hime claws pierce deep into the man's hand. She glare at him as he scream in pain. Shoto and Midoryia try to pull her away from the man but she push them by her wings. Hime glare at the man more. She sniff around him and growl.

"Your dying." She spoke to him coldly. "Aids, it's probably because of all the women you have rape." The boys look at her in shock, even the man look at her in shock. "Your not even worth it." Hime let's go of him. He snatch his hand away from her. He can see the claws went in deep, bleeding.

There for to that conclusion, he's a pig who's going to die very soon and very painful."

"We still don't know where to look for her!"

Midorya nearly gasp but covers his mouth as Todoroki stare at him.

They heard a loud noise to see Hime fly off the group of people. She turn her body over to make a clear landing. She grip her claws on the ground as she slides away from the group. She flips her mohawk away from her face to see a giant crocodile man appear from the crowd. He wore pants . He didn't have any shoes or a shirt on. His big scale like tale slams the ground hard. Midorya, Bakugo, and Shoto stood there with shock look on their faces as they were surprised by the sudden change of everything.

The crocodile man place her down and pat her head lightly. He wag his tail happily till he saw Adam.

"When was the last time you saw her?" Todoroki ask him. Tatsu look at him angrily. He walk up to them with his dark green mix golden eyes. He's a lot bigger then they expect him to be once he got closer to them.

"You think you boys have the right to order me around. This side of town, nobody well find your body. I can rip your body's in a instant. Selling your organs to the black market and have you limbs sell to the doll parts." Midoryia turn blue. He felt shocked by him. Even Shoto try to find for words but he seem over thinking it. Bakugo glare at him, "Oh yeah, I like to see you try leatherface. I'll blow your ass off to a million bits!" Tatsu look directly into Bakugo's eye and grin.

"I like this one." He pat Bakugo"s head then Shoto and Midoryia. "All right you brats come on."

"Eh!" Midoryia look at him surprised, "Y-You'll help us?"

"Ah I was going to help anyways. I just wanted to see if you brats can take a joke!"

"Teacher!" Hime scold him, "I told you those empty threats are not funny!"

"eh? They funny to me!" He pouts. The crowd behind them start to complain to Tatsu for leaving.

"All right you lots!" He growl, "Go home to your wives. I got better things to do!" The crowd seem to boo him. Just then the little weasel like creature trip where all sorts of wallets fell off from his pants pocket. The crowd gasp and sound angry.

"Ah crap! Fuzzball! Operation escape plan B!"

"What's plan B?" Shoto look confused.

Hime kick on of the stands where a whole jar of marbles and beads fell. The crowd have a hard time getting up. "That's plan B! Run!" She start to laugh. They start running from the angry crowd where they wobble the way out but fell over.

"This is stealing!" Midoryia complain.

"Hahah, it's only stealing if someone found out!" Tatsu laughs. They start running away from the big ally market. Tatsu lead them far away from the city where it leads them to a beach there was a big old wooden pier standing. Underneath the pier was a old shack. The walks from the outside look beaten out and old. Where were fishnets hanging outside and seagulls around the small shack. Tatsu start screaming at them to leave but they pay no mind to him.

"I see you moved!" Hime look at the shack.

"Heh, hungry?"

"Starving!" Hime lick her bottom lip of thinking the food. After a while they had the fire made and Tatsu was in the shack doing something. Hime came back with some drift wood and place it on the fire. Adam was playing around with the weasel like creature that was making click sounds with its mouth.

"Psst, long ears!" Bakugo look at her.

She look at him but ignore him. Bakugo glare at her, "I'm talking to you!"

"Not my name!"

"Grrr, Hime!"

"Yes?" She look at him.

"How do you know this guy?"

"He's my teacher!"

"Oh! From being home school?" Midoryia ask.

"Heh, no.. he was training me with Kendo. My cousin's roommate introduced him to me. Well, he taught me first but he was too busy with work so he introduced me to him."

"Ah! Sooo…um…" Midoryia look uncomfortable to ask but he wanted to know but he couldn't ask her.

"Is he a Villain?" Shoto blurt it out! Bakugo and Midoryia bug eye at him for asking her that. Hime look at him. She hide her smile. She sat down on the chair with the broken legs.

"He… hehe, she used to be." Hime told them. "It's not really my place to say." She look at them as they now feel concern about this.

"Ah! Teacher doesn't do that anymore!" Hime shake her hand around. "He's really a nice guy and he doesn't hurt anyone unless they attack him first. He works too! He's ..um..I.."

"O-Okay!" Tatsu came out with a creepy sharp teeth smile. He hold up a tray with some marinated meat that was on the stick. "I hope you boys have an appetite!" He kneel down and stick the stick on the ground near by the fire to cook. He sat across them on a broken log. He have an ice chest that was half burry on the sand.

"Um, are you boys old enough to drink? All I have is booze?" He pass a drink to Hime.

"No!" Midoryia and Shoto said

"Yes!" Bakugo grin happily about it. Tatsu hand him a can.

"Me-me! Kaachan!" Midoryia scold them.

"Shut it nerd!"

"Eh! I'm not affected by alcohol." Hime told them.

"So!" Tatsu clap his hands together. "Eli Sherman!"

"You know her? Do you know where she's at?" Midoryia ask him.

"Yeah, I know her. I pretty much know everyone around the Edge. Even her cousin."

"When was the last time you saw her?"

"About a week I think! Nice girl just in a rough patch. Then again, everyone have a hard life."

"And?"

"And what?"

They look at him hoping he could give them a bit more then that. Tatsu check on the food. He grab his drink and jug it down.

"Eli's an orphan. She doesn't have another family's alive. She lived in the Shelter home."

"Yeah, we stop by there!" Hime sound angry as she drink.

"Anyway, the poor girl been working her way up to get out of this town. Wants to be a professional dancer. I see her doing some dancing in her jobs."

"You know where she works?"

Tatsu look at them then looks down at his can. He seem hesitant of telling them. He look at Hime who seem to know what he was going to say.

"The Corner."

"Huh?" They look confused.

"They won't let us in." Hime told him. "Even if we did go in, they won't tell them anything."

"You're right. But you might go in!" He told her. Hime blush bright red.

"NO WAY! NO BLOODY WAY!"

"What! What's wrong!" Midoryia look at them confused.

"I'm a bit at lost here!" Todoroki look at them.

"Calm down fuzzball! It was only a suggestion! I mean, you might get a lot money from it!"

"Mr. Tatsu!" Hime growl.

"The hell is your problem long ears?"

"The Corner is a strip club! And you won't be able to go in back stage unless your looking for a job there! And I ain't doing it!" She growl.

Tatsu look at her from head to toe, "Your not bad looking kid. Hell if I was 25 years younger I'll totally date you!"

Hime blush and kick sand at him, "Ugh, your worse then Andrea!"

"Hahahahah, aw come on, kid! She's cute right boy's! I wouldn't be surprised if she already got a side piece!"

"The bloody hell are talking about!" Hime blush.

"Come on! Which one is it! Out of these three is your main squeeze?"

The boys blush and shook their head no.

"Um,… No.. we…"

"I already have someone I like." Hime blush but she look angry. She ignore their eyes, "Can we please drop this and go back on Eli!"

"Ooooh! Which one! Hehehe, I bet is that blond girl you hang out with all the time!"

"N-no! She turn me down!" Hime blush.

"Ah! That scrawny one that wear black all the time.

"Tom-tom isn't scrawny!" Hime told him. She cover her mouth and blush dark red. Adam place a smile emoji at her and start playing his cheesy romance music.

"🎼 When a man looooves a woman!"

Hime playfully slaps Adam around for playing that song.

"Stop that!"

"Heheheh!" Tatsu starts laughing at her.

"Ugh, your such a pain when you drink!"

"Aaaaw! Your so cute when you get mad!" He squeeze her cheeks like a little baby. Hime blush bright red. She lightly push him away and squeal angrily at him. He starts laughing at her and point, "ahahahah, see what I mean. She's adorable! Even her squeals sounds cute."

"IM NOT CUTE!" She growl at him. She grab the small chicken like meat and scuff it down angrily.

"Kid, they're not ready yet! It's still raw!"

"It's still good, Bullocks!" She talk with her mouth full.

"Heheh," Tatsu drinks up.

"Do you know anything else about Eli? Where she might be?" Midoryia ask. He took the food that Tatsu hand him.

"Besides her being at the Corner! I don't know much. The girl have been working herself to death to leave this place."

"How did you know her?" Bakugo glare at him a bit.

"Besides her shows, she brings me leftovers from her job. I used to work there as a bodyguard at night. But now I'm working at this club in downtown. The pay is good and I get leftovers too so it's a far fetched."

"That's because you broke someone's jaw at one point." Hime remind him.

"Eeeh, the brat had a gun. What else am I supposed to do!"

"Hmp! I don't like it when you work late teacher! You work somewhere safe. You need to think about your age and Chip!"

The weasel like creature click his tongue. It sat on Hime's lap once it grab its share of food. Tatsu grab his and took a bite.

"Gotta make money kiddo. And Chip comes and go plus he make his own money!"

"I don't think pick-pocketing is a good way of making a living." Midoryia blow on the food.

"Around here, it's the only way." Hime told them. She grab another one but sniff on it. She place it back and start to sniff.

"Hey, Hey, come on. At least eat the ones that's cook. You can't eat raw meet all the time. Think about your health!"

Hime grab one that look barley cook. She took a bite and look at him. He sigh and roll her eyes.

"What is this anyway? It's really good Mr. Tatsu!" Midoryia grab another one.

" glad you like it!" Tatsu smile proudly.

"Yeah, this is good. What is it?"

"Rat!" Both Hime And Tatsu told them. They stop eating and look at the meat. They look shock. They were ready to spit it out but they can see them smirking and laughing.

"Hahahahahahah!"

"That was not funny! Me-me!"

"Heheheh, I'm sorry. I couldn't help it. It was funny to see your reaction!"

"So,..

It's not rats?" Todoroki kept eating.

"No, no, it's actually seagulls!" Tatsu told them. They look at him to see if he was joking but he wasn't. Hime kept eating the meat as well.

"Your not joking!" Bakugo look at it.

"Eat what you got! Hell, your lucky enough to even afford meat around here."

"It's still good." Hime didn't complain. "But seafood is better."

The gang have clean up a bit and still shock about the seagull meat. Tatsu walk them halfway to their destination. He pat Hime's head playfully.

"This is the farthest I can go." He told them. "People around here are kinda territorial about their turf. Plus I'm not allowed to be in the Corner anymore after an accident."

"… You broke someone's nose again didn't you!" Hime glare at him in disappointment. He scratched behind his head and avoid eye contact.

"Um.. ahahah, look at the time. I got to go! These old bones have work tomorrow!"

"Tea-cher!" Hime let out a small groan.

"Heh, okay. I won't get anymore fights. But you need to promise that too!"

"I make no promises!"

"Ah! You little twerp!" He wrap his arms around her shoulder and noogie her head.

"Ah! Stop! Don't mess up the mohawk!"

He lets her go and lightly push her towards the boys. He smile at them, "Keep an eye out on her for me well yeah! She have an issue of getting into trouble a lot!"

"I do not!"

He gives them a wide grin that shows off his sharp teeth. Midoryia and Todoroki smile back at him. Chip climbs up to Hime's shoulder and snuggles up to her. He rub his cheeks next to her. He then jumps off and climbs to Tatsu shoulder's the two wave goodbye and left. Hime sigh with a little embarrassment. Adam rest up in Hime's bag, sleeping from the exhausted day.

"Welp, we should get going!" Hime told them. "The sun rising would be up in the next five hours."

"Yeah we should call it a day. But I do want to check out that Corner place."

"Why Todoroki ! I didn't think you were into that!"

"Huh? No, someone must have seen Eli. We should check it out!"

"Sorry lab but no can do. We've been out here way too long. We all need sleep!"

"Me-me is right! We can check it tomorrow!"

"Eh! You want to sneak out tomorrow night?" Hime sound happy to hear.

"Don't make this into a habit Me-me!" Midoryia scold her.

"Heheh, admit it loves! You have more of blast then ever!"

"I'm more shock about this behavior of yours. You always seem so quiet and distance towards people. And more.."

"A goodie-two-shoe!" Bakugo grunt as he walk ahead of them.

"Yes! I suppose so! Andrea always told me I have to behave myself in order to be well like by others! But I prefer this!" Hime kick a can. "I don't like to be an up-tight, rule listener, I like sneaking out of the house and do stuff."

"Pick-poeckting?" Shoto ask her. Hime look at him and laughs.

"No, I um… do graffiti around the city."

"You vandalize people's property!" Midoryia look shock. "My gosh Me-me! You lie to your cousin! Your teacher is an ex-convent! You sneak out of the house! You had a fight at a outside bar! We ran away from the police once. You drink alcohol in an illegal age. And you graffiti!"

"…. You make it sound like it's a bad thing!"

"Me-me!"

"Whaaat! Calm down Midoryia! You can't stand there and tell me you never done a bad thing before!"

".. Well, we did beat up a villain before!" Shoto told her.

"Oooh?"

"When the hell was this?"

"Oh um.."

"Last year! Iida almost kill a person!"

"Really!" Hime grin.

"Four eyes!" Bakugo almost laugh as if it was a joke.

"Todoroki!"

"Wait your serious!" Bakugo stop laughing.

"Ah! We didn't have our license."

"Todoroki!"

"And we sneak out to save Bakugo from being kidnapped."

"Tch, you extras didn't save me! You were just my ride of getting out of there!"

"Heheh, don't feel ashamed of it, sometimes it's okay to call out for help."

"They didn't save me!" Bakugo growl.

"Okay, Okay, they didn't save you. So, what was it like? What type of idiot villain that desperately wanted you?"

"It was the League Of villains." Shoto told her.

"Ah, right, Mina did mention that."

"Oi! Nobody ask you half-half!"

"Hmm, they also destroyed Kamino Wards while fighting AllMight."

Hime stop walking and look at little shock. She had no idea Kamino Wards incident was cause by them. And they were part of it. She look a little disoriented.

"Wh-what?"

"Yeah. Their boss just destroyed that whole neighborhood with one blow. It was something. That amount of power was completely different!"

"Todoroki!" Midoryia try to stop him. He look at Hime who look as if she was remembering something. She can feel her head burning her. The pounding was just unbearable.

"Me-me, are you okay?"

"I'm fine!... so these League of villains. Were they ever caught?"

"Just their boss. But Tomura and his group escape. They've been kept quiet for now." Hime look at Shoto and bug her eyes. She look at him confused. Her body felt weightless.

"Wha?"

"They escape. They're dangerous. Have you not watched the news?" Shoto ask her.

"No! Um…" she can feel her throat dry for some reason. "What was his name?"

"Tomura Shigaruke. He's the ringleader of the league of villains. They've been coming after us and attacking our school." Shoto told her. Hime can feel her head pounding again. She hold her head, the headache was just pounding her.

"Me-me!"

Memories were flashing back, but she couldn't make out what was what. They were just playing over her head but it was all around. She couldn't believe what she heard. Tomura is the leader of the League of Villains. No, she didn't believe it! She couldn't believe it.

"Long ears?"

"Me-me!"

"What's wrong? Are you okay?"

They call out to her but she try to fight the headache. The strong force in her head was just hurting her. It felt like her plate was tighten around her brain.

"Aaaaaah!" She saw a small glimpse of memory. A memory that felt so nice. She felt kind warmth hands stroking her hair. Two warmth smiles made her feel safe. She can hear a sweet lullaby singing to her. She can feel her chest hurting her. She couldn't make of it.

"Me-me! What's wrong! Tell us!"

Hime accidentally grab Midoryia's risk. She gasp in shock, her eyes turn ghostly white. She was in a black void scene. She look around confused.

Strange, where am I?

Hime look around to see a man kneeling down and another man placing his hand over the other. It look like he needed help.

"Bloody hell! Hey what are you doing!" Hime rush towards them but the scene was gone. She look confused. Then she saw a woman who look tiered and worn out she's very pretty but oddly familiar. She was facing that same man from earlier. She was fighting him all alone.

She's hurt! She needs help!

"Stop! Don't do it! Don't!" Hime was running towards her but she felt a hand on her shoulder. She look up to see a bald man. He seem about the same size as her teacher. He look at her angry.

"Who are you? How did you get here?"

"What?"

"She doesn't belong here!" She heard a males voice. She look around to see other people there and the woman before. These emotions, they were too much. This was too much for her. All their emotions all mix in one. It made her confused. She felt sick to her stomach.

"You don't belong here." A males voice told her. He have long white hair. His eyes were hidden. He walk towards her and talk to her gently. "You need to go back. This is too much for you." Hime was already on her knee. All of their emotions was too much. Anger, sad, confusion, it was all to much negative that she can handle. What was happening to her? Why is she see this? The man gently touch her head. This kindness she felt it before. From someone, who was very close to her. He gently smile at her, "you have a very unique gift. But your not supposed to be here. Not yet. We'll meet again when he needs you."

"What?" He touch her forehead. Hime can feel her body leaving from that place. She have no idea what happened. But all those emotions was just too much for her to handle.

"Me-me! Me-me!" Midoryia yelled at her scared.

"Shit! Long ears!"

"Don't mover her. She's having a seizure. It's best to waited it out." Todoroki told them. Hime's body start to shake viciously then before. Adam had woken up on time to help Hime. He time her seizure on how long it lasted. Her seizure was getting longer and longer then before. They waited out till she stop. But it seem to have tired her out. They didn't have a choice but to carry her and call for a ride.

The sun had risen up. The ray warm up through the window to wake Hime up. She place the covers over her head to block the sun. She heard a knock from her door but she ignore it.

"Hime!" A soft woman's voice call out to her. "Hime! Wake up sweetie." She call out to her softly.

"Ten more minutes!" She groan. The woman lightly laughs and try her best to wake her up.

"Wake up honey. It's going to be your first day school."

"No! I hate school."

She told her, "Come on sweetie."

"Muuuuum! Let me sleep forever!"

"Okay fine sleep, sport! More waffles for me then!" A strong but gentle male voice open the door wide enough for him to come in to the room. He wore a cop's uniform. He start to eat the waffles happily.

"Hmmmm, so good and crunchy. And that Pb and Jelly on top and so good with bananas!"

"Okay! Okay! I'm up!" Hime told them. She took the covers off of her. Her curly short white hair was all over the place. She wrinkled up her small pink nose and look at them with her frown golden eyes. She was so small that the bed and covers were twice her size.

"Nope, too late. I'm eating it all up!"

"Nooooo! Mum!"

"Heheh, then get ready silly. You don't want him to eat all the food."

After getting up from bed. The man and the woman left her alone to change. She saw her middle school uniform next to her high school uniform. She was going to miss her middle school year but everything have gone so fast for her. She was going to High school. And this was going to be great. She place on her uniform. The dark blue and gray skirt wasn't something she would go for but it was cute. Though she still look like a elementary schooler but it was her height. She didn't mind it much she did got away with a few things from this height . She fix her hair and look at herself.

"Okay, a new year! A new start! Your going to do everything you can! Get good grades! Attend as many club activities as possible and, make new friends! You can do this! You got this!" She place her fist over the mirror as if she was giving herself a fist pump.

"Hi-ime!"

"Coming Mother!" Hime ran out of her room. She grab her school and close her door to start her day.
