Mr. Ken is scary, or so I thought when I first saw him.

My mommy said we should stay home, but she never said why, she said it was adult stuff.

After a few days, I asked my mom for something to drink and she said there was nothing, so I decided to go to the supermarket, I was also curious to see what was outside.

It was late afternoon and when I left I realized that there was no one around, maybe they are sleeping.

My mom told me that I should not go out alone, but I wanted to know what was outside, and I'm also very thirsty.

I don't like my mommy not telling me things, she always says they are adult things, lies are bad, she always says it.

After walking for a few minutes I got to the supermarket but it seemed to be empty, so I started looking for an adult to buy something to drink.

I could see a mister walking slowly down the hallways, but he seemed to be full of mushrooms.

Mr. mushroom scares me, he doesn't speak, makes strange sounds and seems mean.

Besides, he walks strangely and sways, my mom told me to stay away from people like that.

I want to go home with my mommy, this day is very strange and it seems like a nightmare.

"Raaarrrrghh" yelled the O+.

"Wahhh!" I screamed scared.

I went to hide before the Mr. mushroom saw me and ended up in a place with many boxes in a dark part.

I was afraid to go out, so I stayed there until someone came.

I already know what's outside and I don't like it, I should have stayed with my mommy.

I stood there waiting for my mom to come and get me, but a long time passed and no one seemed to come.

Just when I was about to cry, I heard the door move and it scared me.

Is it Mr. Mushroom? I don't want him to find me.

I was afraid to see who was and accidentally pushed a box making it fall and make a lot of noise.

I hid behind a box and after hearing a knock, I could see someone in front of me.

He was a mister without mushrooms, but his look was strange, it was as if he was bored or tired.

I was a little scared, but I want to see my mommy.

"Ehhh, e-excuse me sir" I said with a little fear.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!" shouted the mister in a very shrill voice.

And that's how I met Mr. Ken.

Mr. Ken is always sincere and he never hides anything from me, in addition he always makes very funny faces to express his feelings.

But when I ask something from grown-ups like, where do babies come from?, he says that he can explain it to me, but that it is something very disgusting and that I should enjoy my innocence.

Mr. Ken is a smart person, so I didn't ask any more about that.

He always cares about me and he always tells jokes or teaches me things to keep me happy.

Mr. Ken is good, maybe this is how it feels to have a dad.

My mom would be very happy with someone like him, but he always says that I should stop looking for a girlfriend for him.

When Mr. Ken told me that I won't be able to see my mommy again, I didn't want to believe him, but he always tells the truth.

M-my mommy, *Sniff* if I hadn't gone to the supermarket I-I'd still be with my mommy.

Mr. Ken stayed with me at all times and he always tried to cheer me up again.

I was still sad, but Mr. Ken did something that I will never forget.

A promise.

He promised, that he would always take care of me and make sure that I will be happy, no matter what it cost him.

He promised it for my mommy and because he loved me.

Mr. Ken never shows that much affection first, I always have to hug him for him to do the same.

But this time, he actually showed affection like my mom did, even grinning with his teeth and wide.

I really don't know how it's like to have a dad, but Mr. Ken is how it should be one to me.

After the promise, Mr. Ken taught me how to cook, plus we played various games on his phone.

He always tried to cheer me up and he always succeeded with his jokes and games.

He doesn't seem like a nice person, but he always is, there wasn't once that I saw him upset or sad, he's always bored, but still he always makes me happy.

He always teaches me many things calmly and quietly, and he says that he is proud of me for little things.

Still, he always says that I should express my own feelings and thoughts, and that my opinion is always interesting to listen to.

He is someone weird, but he is always there for me and never expects anything in return, just a smile from me.

Or so I think, as Mr. Ken would say.
