Lux slept for a whole entire day after getting home.

When he woke up, he was cold. He looked over to where his blanket went and saw the little girl on his bed sleeping quietly on the side with his blanket. Scratching his head, Lux sighed and got off the bed.

Lux looked at the wound he had on his shoulder, it seemed to have healed completely.

"Holy crap, I guess being a god's disciple really does have its perks!" Lux took off the bandage and threw it into a trashcan. In doing so he smelled himself and gagged.

"Since when have I had a proper shower?" Lux asked himself, pinching his nose. Since he lived in a cold desert he didn't have any water at his disposal. Most of the meat he ate had water in it so he wouldn't dehydrate which was good and all but Lux was now beginning to understand the importance of having water.

Lux grabbed his stuff and began to go out of his bedroom when something tugged at his shirt. It was the little girl, Lux looked at her and sighed.

"What?".

She looked at him with her innocent eyes like she wanted something.

"You want another head pat? Sure" Lux reached out his hand but she moved it away.

"Look litt.." Lux then thought.

"Hmmmmm, I really need to name you something, I can't just keep calling you, "Little Girl" Lux thought of all the names that fit her appearance. He looked at her barcode thing and it named her "Igris".

Lux frowned.

It was a pretty ugly name for a girl, it made her sound like a robot too. Lux scratched his chin and thought of any names.

"Samus? Seven? Xanthe? Nex? Haven? No, none of these work!" Lux took a good look at the girl again.

Her round little cheeks had a touch of red to them with her beautiful yellow eyes glimmering in the sun's rays of light that complemented her short silky brown hair. It reminded Lux of a planet he visited once on vacation.

"What was it called?" Lux thought for a moment.

"Ah! Aria" Lux looked back at the girl, it seemed like the name captivated her. Lux smiled.

"Then your name from now on is now Aria!" Lux said.

Lux realized he was sidetracked, and looked at Aria trying to figure out what she wanted. She just stared at him with an innocent look like always but her brows seemed more furrowed like she was mad.

"Grrrrrrrrr…".

Lux raised his eyebrows.

"You're hungry?" Lux asked.

Aria nodded.

"Ok then, let's go get ourselves some food" Lux really didn't have any food in his inventory so had to go find something to kill and eat.

After walking for some time, Lux saw a turtle-looking monster. It had three horns on its head and a spiky shell. It also had a long tail that was covered in weird black rings. Lux gulped.

He summoned his dragon tooth dagger and walked up to it. It saw Lux and became alert, squinting at Lux with anger. Lux figured that the turtle was around level 15 which was nothing against him.

It jumped at him with its heavy body threatening to squish Lux into a pancake. Lux didn't stay idle and jumped back avoiding the turtle smash. The weight of the turtle smashing against the ground created a shockwave of dust as small rocks and debris flow freely in all directions. Lux covered Aria and moved back from the turtle.

Since being in a hell hole for such a long time, Lux had never really tested his new gained strength and realized how his strength and speed had increased considerably. Not that the turtle was really fast to begin with but Lux managed to react fast enough and dodge its attack with ease. Aria looked at Lux with a confused face.

Lux grabbed Aria and put her on a rock.

"Hey, stay here so I can get some food," Lux told Aria.

Aria nodded.

Lux then confronted the turtle, it screamed and let out huge gusts of wind. Sand blew everywhere as Lux covered his eyes. The wind was very strong, almost lifting Lux off the ground. Lux maintained his ground and pushed through the tough currents of the winds. Some of the lines of wind even cut his skin from the sheer force of the wind, Lux managed to stay on his ground.

The wind slowly started to lose power and came to a certain point where it was just normal wind. Lux took this chance to rush the turtle while it recharged its strength. Holding the dragon tooth at hand, Lux stabbed the dagger into the head of the turtle.

CLANG!

Lux jumped back as he looked at the turtle's head, he never hit it. It swung its body around so that the dagger would hit its shell instead of its head. Gritting his, Lux kept slashing at the turtle's head but it always moved it to the side. The turtle snapped its mouth at Lux, with quick speed Lux dodged the attack and slashed the lip of the turtle.

Lux then used swipe, everything was clear now. He could see the turtle's weak points and even opportunities to attack from. His hand moved majestically in the air as he smashed his hand in the jawline of the turtle, it spat out blood. The turtle growled in anger and tried to ram Lux with its big body. Lux used this opportunity to stab it in the head but the turtle evaded it once again.

The dagger was stabbed into the side of its face just barely from the brain. Lux was rammed in the gut and he was sent flying back. With the dagger in its head, all Lux needed to do was to jerk it to the forehead with one hard push. The Turtle roared in pain and let out huge gusts of wind but they were less concentrated than before.

It then shot a beam of wind at Lux, he tried to dodge but was still hit in the side of his body. In an instant, blood spewed all over the sand. Lux fell to the ground in shock, he was going to bleed out before the turtle would finish him. His mind raced with every possible way to get out of this situation but nothing came to him.

A shadow shot through the air like a bullet, the turtle screamed in agony. A small rock-sized hole was seen in its side. Lux spat out blood and started yanking his coat off, lying half-dead Lux was barely thinking and started ripping the sides of his coat and pressed them against his wound.

"AHHHGR…" Lux moaned in pain.

His side felt like it was melting off, gasping for air he breathed in and out. He looked at the wound, Lux was lucky the gust of wind didn't touch any of his organs or bones. It still cut an ugly chunk of muscle off him. Lux pressed the coat against his wound to stop the blood.

"Mmmmm!" Lux clenched his fist and fell back to the ground.

"Rrrr".

The sound made Lux shake. The turtle wasn't dead yet. Lux started ripping more of his coat off and tied the coat against his body very tightly and got up from the ground. His shirt was all bloody and half torn and his coat was ripped into bits. He raised his fist at the turtle which was also injured.

If he managed to beat the dagger into its brain he could kill it.

It snapped at him but Lux just walked closer. The turtle growled like a dog and snapped its mouth but it was too injured to move away from Lux. It could only drag itself helplessly as Lux approached it. Lux wondered what force was so powerful it rendered this animal helpless to him.

The turtle tried to fight back as Lux started beating to death, each punch to the head made the turtle out of balance and act like it was drunk. Lux reached his hand and grabbed the dagger and punched it deeper into the head. After a few minutes of struggling Lux finally managed to beat the dagger into the brain of the turtle. Lux played next to it exhausted.

"That turtle was more powerful than I thought" Lux chuckled, coughing blood.

Aria approached Lux with an arm full of rocks. Lux figured it was her who injured the turtle and then started a quick fire. As Aira cooked the meat, Lux laid against the turtle corpse.

Lux coughed up some blood and put more pressure on his wound. Aria silently turned the meat over the fire without paying attention to Lux.

Lux wondered why she helped him, so far she had been saving him from dangers like the stone statues and now the turtle. He barely knew who she was, not to mention why she was so strong. The little girl then passed a piece of meat to Lux, he bit into the soft meat and felt the energy rejuvenating him.

He felt awful but now that turtle meat was giving him the energy to get up. Lux's wounds started healing as his aching muscles felt like they were cooling down. Coughing some more blood, Lux felt like he could go kill a hundred goblins.

"Woah what type of meat was that?" Lux felt stronger than he had felt ever.

He got up from the floor and moved around. Everything seemed more clear, it was sunsetting yet Lux didn't see any darkness and it was as if it was mid-day. He saw a system of redlines running through the sky and floor, it was a whole new experience for Lux.

He saw every single living creature in the premise for over a 5-mile radius through the help of the lines, it was as if he was now connected to the world itself.

"Is this the true power of Swipe?".
