Mercy,Not an option

**After listening to Silver's story,they knew that the foe they were going to face was a very strong and cunning individual,he had tricked a person into killing his friend,Alex consoled Silver,and left to plan with the others,he needed to devise a plan to kill this cruel ruler,all parts of the tale were assembled but one part remained a secret,how did Silver wake up??

After a long rest,they fed very well as they planned to leave for the community,as they packed their loads,Silver was noticed to be missing,his backpack contained a letter,Xhou took it out and closely examined it,"It's for you Alex",Alex just sat down and looked into space as if he was trying to see where Silver had gone to,"Read it"Tearing the letter case open (letter case is a folded paper in which letters are kept, present time: Envelope)he spoke

Everywhere was silent, nobody understood that letter and why was it directed to Alex,Alex got up,dusted his trousers (the barbarians originally wore strips of cloth,but due to their encounter with Silver,thanks to Re's sewing techniques and tree element, trousers and robes were prepared for all of them)he took Re in hand and looked at the five drunkards,"Am gonna have to do this,I will take revenge on Silver's behalf,I made a promise,and am gonna keep it...You people can turn back now,as for Re she has already agreed to follow me and I will protect her"

The forest was quiet and the monkeys gathered to stare at the group in front of them, numerous monkeys appeared from no where and surrounded Alex and his men,would they go with Alex or will they turn back....

***The first barbarian tournament had started in earnest and the warriors were already registering,since registration was free, hundreds of barbarian experts came vying for the post of second in command,the tournament was divided into sections, similar powers were graded together,for example,peak 1 star against peak 1 star,after this level,which was a fight to the death,winners would be graded again based on their status,and on,till the final stage where the top 20 were picked as recruits,it was no more a fight to the death but a game of submission,to win one had to defeat his or her opponents by constant blows and attacks without killing the opponent,the ultimate champion would then face the present army commander,it was a submission match and the arena was packed with people,the tournament started after the rules were stated,the first round was rough and full of energy,all the participants packed in a particular arena and attacked each other,and out of the total number of 150,one third remained,the crowds cheered and the Prince enjoyed it, meanwhile he had sent his servants to get some wine and share for the people present,they hailed their prince and were all overjoyed, families of the dead participants collected their bodies and took them all at once to a massive grave site(a place the dead are buried otherwise called cemetery),they had died with honour according to the Prince,their sacrifices were for the next generation and their contributions beneficial to the entire community.

The tournament continued,all the stages were to be passed in a particular day and t

hen the final stage would take place on the morrow,the fight started again and the elders arranged them in the order of their powers,this time the battle was fierce as it was to submission, some of them launched attacks but the few wise ones,avoided the attacks,they conserved their energy,one after another numerous experts were beaten to stupor but none of them accepted defeat,they had strong will power,and were exceptionally fast in recovery as they had synced with their elements,when a barbarian syncs with his power,this means he or she has a total comprehension of his or her powers,and therefore would be affected by the healing power of the elements,the higher your comprehension the faster your healing,the arena was filled with silence until three newbies stepped into the battle,they just delivered random blows and eliminated many experts,the people had never seen such power, this guys were very strong and it seemed they were not affected by energy exhaustion,the people cheered in appreciation,out if the one third only half remained and these three newbies were still beating more people, obviously they were on the way to final victory,the prince was surprised,he never expected anything like this,this tournament had just turned into a game for these newbies,but he consoled himself with the fact that they will still face one another, taking a good look at them,they were putting on a long black robe,with some long linen that covered their legs, the fight continued,some if the experts didn't wait for any attack,they just walked out if the tournament,this was a matter of Life and death,no one knew where this trio had come from but one thing was certain they were powerful,a scream followed and a mist exploded in the arena,as the fog cleared all the competitors were on the floor grasping their hearts,which formidable ability was this..

***Following the dogs,Alex and his team tracked the footsteps if their dead attackers,this fight was a battle for supremacy and power,he was going to teach this ruler a lesson,the noises if footsteps resounded,noise was in the air

"buy two get 1 free",noises of carts and barbarian bargaining voices,this particular barbarian race resembled the human race,they were sophisticated and even had high rise buildings,this was a civilization,but Alex didn't mind,he walked in and others followed suit,they had left the dogs in the forest,you might be wondering how the dogs would survive,they were very strong and even controlled elements by themselves,so they were perfectly safe in the forest,Alex took note of his surroundings,they were at the edge of the market and could see the palace,it could be seen easily,it was the highest building in the community,Alex was flabbergasted,this small community had such progress,as they approached the gate of the market place,they were stopped by some pack of women,this was not the first pack,it appeared the ruler was a pervert as they were brothels in every street,we were separated,a young beautiful lady took me,as we were separated,we tried to offer resistance but the chief of the pack told us it was the king's orders,which kind of king welcomed immigrants with sex services,Alex was already rock hard as he taught about it,maybe this plan was not bad,he would better make better use of his time here,now they were in front of a particular room, opening the door,the chief of the pack, entered and beckoned into him, hesitating for some minutes,Alex entered and once he closed the door,he pushed the chief to the wall..
