“Traffic was a bitch. They had some problem at the rental car place too, so we’re just now here. And Quinn Is acting up!”

“Did he sleep on the drive over? He’s due for his nap.”

“He’s yelling that he doesn’t want to go.”

“You have to pacify him and tell him everything is okay.”

“I know that,” Jason snapped. “I sat on the floor with him, held him in my arms, then he punched me, and took my glasses off and threw them.”

“What?”

“He punched my nose.”

David shook his head. “He’s acted out a couple of times when he was like two or three, but he hasn’t acted this way in a long time. He’s just frustrated, stressed. Tell him you understand why he’s upset.”

“He refuses to go with me to get on the plane.”

“Jason, you’re the parent, he’s the child, just check in his piece of luggage and go through TSA with him after he calms down.”
